    I like having both a sportquad and a sport 4x4 bc they can be used for the same thing and drastically different things.

    yamaha raptor 700 the KING

  • @jtarman70

    These racing quads aren't what they used to be. Technology has enabled even normal 4 wheelers like the sportsman 850 sp to beat quads in a drag race. I've seen plenty of races on UA-cam where quads get destroyed by twin cylinder wheelers.

    I disagree on this. Polaris scrambler 1000s is far far better in all aspect than a Raptor.
    I won't say raptor 700 is a bad machine, as i own both.

      suraj raikar it’s a completely different animal. I prefer the Polaris, loads of power and still as comfortable as it gets!

      What's top speed on your two quads?

    • @surajraikar9946
      @surajraikar9946 3 роки тому

      @@soybean70 130km top speed without any fear of handling. I didn't go above 80km above on the raptor. Just because I was a bit skeptical and scared. Raptors are very scary and can go upside down just with a small turn.

    raptor will b WAY more reliable

    The scrambler shouldn’t beat the raptor like that. Raptor rider is a bad drag racer or it’s a traction issue. Sorry not trying to insult anyone, I’m just saying.

    • @WeRidee
      @WeRidee  3 роки тому +5

      Todd Merriott uh-oh our first butthurt raptor owner 🤣 but in all honesty the scrambler has double the horsepower.. Are you actually surprised lol? And you can’t blame traction because they’re off-road vehicles that are both in 2wd lol

      I agree. Could tell immediately from the Raptor solo run that a different rider was needed.
      Love both quads. Just unfortunately the Scrambler is illegal on the quality trails in our state.

      and the raptor is like half the weight

      @@WeRidee if you're talking scrambler crank hp vs rear wheel hp for the raptor then yes... which isnt exactly apples to apples. rear wheel hp to rear wheel hp? yes the scrambler still has a lot more even in that case, but is also insanely heavy and over double the weight. the raptor "rider" was indeed terrible, he looked scared of it even on the solo "fly by" where he let off the throttle well before he got to the camera.. would the raptor win with a competent rider? maybe, maybe not, but the race would have been much closer with a guy that can ride. either way i couldnt finish the video, sorry!

      @@powersportsenthusiast1986 basically if the scrammy has no limiter it wins if it does and you have a slightly modified raptor and can ride then you could beat it

      I own a sportsman 1000 s xp -2020. Ive done first service at 25 hours and no belt issue etc. I drive very hard in sand mud gravel woods etc. I know they updated some for 2020 with stronger drivehubs etc.

      I own my Scrambler since May 31 and have 2400 KM
      on it belt is still perfect and I drive it pretty hard belt looks brand new still and have had no problems at all with it.

    • @StelioKontos42069
      @StelioKontos42069 3 роки тому

      just gotta check the belt and make sure its not worn down before riding hard

      If this helps, I got a sportsman 1000 xp premium, and the the only problem I've had is my front brake squeaks but I'd blame that on my irresponsibility or just me braking way to hard at top speed, I believe if you give the belts time to break in you'll have no problem In the long run.

    How is the reliability so far? Polaris had a strong reputation for being junk. But man do I want this machine bad.
