I'm a Mark V owner, use it for stills, and am disappointed with the VI. More than anything else, I think the V would've benefitted from better ergonomics. Something to make it easier to handle, and a way to easily adjust 3 primary settings (i.e. ISO, shutter speed and aperture) would've been a winner. I personally don't need the added reach of the VI, and I certainly wouldn't trade that for the f/1.8 of the V. Lastly, I think a 20% price increase is a bit much...
Is this truly 2.8-4.5 (35mm equivalent) or does aperture need to be multiplied by the crop factor? Is my concern over stated? My assumption is this would drastically overestimate the lenses ability. I’ve noticed that very few reviews mention this when comparing cameras which I find confusing. I’ve enjoyed your channel and would appreciate hearing your thoughts. I’m in the market for something light as a family camera (two young kiddos running around and would like to find a good value. Currently own a5100 with Kit lens and would like to stay with Sony, any suggestions. Thx
Why is it still limited to 5 minute record time in 4k? Especially for the cost of this camera, I don't see a need to upgrade as I currently have the RX 100 M3 I prefer to have 4k without this limit.
What's up dude. I bbn own the mark 5. And honestly I wish I went for a Panasonic lx100 or one of their 1" sensor cameras. Since I bought this camera mainly for vlogging. Panasonic's eye and face detection are just as fast as sonys

im worried about on thing : the lens motor that extends them , ive heard that it stops working

The rx100vi sadly doesn't support the app store in camera like the previous ones.
