The owner of Vestal's seemed really genuine and nice. I would 100% support his store, along with his allocation system that he does. Props to that owner for his great service.
Holy hell the Greatest cooking channel is a fellow watcher! That’s awesome also wouldn’t hate to see y’all cook up something for Brewzle we all know he loves good food
@GlenAndFriendsCooking You and TJ should team up on the best combination of bourbon and mixers to create the best version of various cocktails. We also have Chartruese in the state if you are still worried about getting some.
Here I am, “a larger bearded man” sitting on the pot watching a brewzle hunt and out of no where I see him sitting on the pot looking back at me. It’s like the spider man meme of them pointing at each other
Old Forester single barrel barrel proof for $72 in southern Indiana at Kroger. Larceny BP C924 for $58 a couple weeks later. $89.99 is going rate for the OF for the most part.
Had the honor of meeting you this morning, 11/25, on the ferry ride. It was a pleasure to meet you, you were very approachable and held great conversation. It was like meeting a celebrity!
If you’re looking to hunt in the Philadelphia area, I used to live in Philadelphia, And I put a few liquor stores into your all online submission form. Except for one store in Reading terminal market that specifically sells local Pennsylvania stuff and isn’t a FW&GS, All of the stores are in New New Jersey or Delaware, And when I submitted them on the form, I put the actual Town they’re in under city, not Philadelphia, maybe that was a mistake. There are definitely interesting liquor stores in the Philadelphia area, But besides Pennsylvania realizations in Reading terminal market, they’re just not in Pennsylvania.
Also, I didn’t get a chance to watch the Trenton video yet so maybe you did make your way further down to areas like Cherry Hill that are outside of Philadelphia.
I'd recommend coming to Buffalo. You'll see a lot of the same price wise, but quite a bit more stores with larger selections where you might find something interesting
Yup, one secret though. A lot of bourbons are actually sold in 1L sizes for special order only, and further more some even cost less than a fifth. For example, Ol grandad BiB/100pf, 25.19 for a Liter or 25.99 for a fifth. Hidden gems all over the site for special order to a local store if you take a good gander. Pay online pick up in store with an ID and you can really get some steals for the collection.
@@casablanca3871 Yeah, there are some gems if you look however to often did, I try to get a special order on something nice only to find out 3 weeks later they can't get it. Seems to be hit or miss with those as well. Being close to New Jersey I periodically find bottles there cheaper than the PA Store so I try to shop all over to get the best price.
I've had the new schotland wheated. One of their reps was in a liquor store I stop at when I'm in the area. It was decent and worth a try. The old forester is a good deal at that price. Just paid $100 for the one I got. Definitely a great pour imo.

I love specialty wine shops that do liquor. If you find one that does store picks, those are the best. They tend to pick with a different approach, and that leads to special picks
Emerald Coast Wine & Spirits near Seagrove Beach /30A Florida - around Spring Break / Easter - they were selling a Driftwood Wine & Spirits store pick of Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength (130 proof) for $55 dollars/bottle, limit 2. I nearly lost my mind. I bought 2, had my father-in-law buy 2, my wife bought 2, and my mother-in-law bought 2. I made some friends back home near Atlanta very happy when we returned. Couldn't believe they were selling that bottle for that price.
You need to start trying out the Frank August stuff. Their 100 proof small batch is surprisingly solid and not outrageously priced. It helps that the bottle and cork are really cool too 😂
Scotch and Irish whiskey guys! The Southbridge Wines place had some great Campbeltown malts. Should have picked up the Kilkerran 8 Sherry Cask he had or the Longrow/SB 10/Campbeltown Loch. Longrow is my favorite of the Springbank lineup. Campbeltown Loch is a great cheaper alternative to SB 10. Thanks TJ! Safe travels.
Hahaha and here I got 15 year Pappy for msrp for being a loyal customer at my local store(s). You have to spend there as well. So, certain spending puts you in their system for Pappy 10, lot b, rye, 15, 20, or 23. All for msrp. Man Heart Release is 79.99 here in IL.

As a Pennsylvanian, the one thing I’ve learned is NEVER SHOP FOR ANY LIQUOR IN PA. The liquor laws here are awful. Luckily, I’m right on the Ohio border and Ohio’s liquor laws are great!!
Love it up there, I’m here in Tunkhannock PA, and it is beyond difficult to find good bottles around here. We all go to Binghamton a lot to re-up our shelves. Glad to see you were able to show case Marks store !
Re: the OF SiBBS, my last four bottles were all procured for less than $70 - three at Costco and one at a local BevMo using the same $10 off online coupon anyone could have used. Prior bottles at local liquor stores or w/o coupons were around the $75-$90 mark, but if you bide your time you can get them here in SD for less.
You missed out TJ. Up here in Roc City we have Black Button and Iron Smoke Distillaries. Good stuff. We could’ve taken you around. Plus I can take you to a store that has a Weller Millennium for $8,000 😂

Need to try the Tarnished Truth Single Barrel High Rye. They distilled it themselves here in VA. I can only find them rarely in the 357 ml. Really solid product for a 3 year old Straight Bourbon Whiskey. I’m hoping they released in small batch 357 ml aged 3 year because they needed some funding and have barrels they are holding for a 5 year release.
I found a couple CYPB and Full Proof bottles in a store at $300 each. I passed on it. Then found a Full Proof at another store at $250…offered $200 but they wouldn’t sell it for that. I want them cause everyone says they’re great, but just don’t feel like feeding the secondary market monster.
