- Today I'll show you how to remove and install the wheel bearing, or wheel hub assembly and your 2011 through 2014 Chrysler 200, this one is a 2012. the symptoms you'd experience with a bad wheel bearing for your Chrysler 200 would be roaring or a grinding sound while you're driving straight down the road and not touching the brakes. it can also be described as the noise you hear in an airplane. you can lift the car and shake the wheel back and forth from the top and bottom and if there's a play then it's most likely a wheel bearing, but there could be no play and it still be a bad wheel bearing just with those noises. also, it's a good idea to replace both, for instance, this one today it sounded like it was just the one side because that passenger side was really loud but once we replaced it the driver side was making noise more quietly. with the Amazon links below for the parts make sure you enter your car information and double-check it's a Sure Fit because I think there were different options for the wheel bearing in this 200

Finally someone who doesn't take the caliper and the bracket off I never understood why even mechanics do that all you got to do is take the two caliper bracket bolts out good job
Great video you gave out perfect advice with moving the tire back and forth to wiggle her free or even telling them to use the Jack handle it’s like I was doing the job myself
Also it would be a good idea to put some anti seize after cleaning up some of the rust so that next time when replacing the wheel bearing it won’t be as difficult to get it off. Great video

Good job bud, thought the trans was making noise so took it to Chrysler to diagnose since they just recently replaced the transmission ($3,000) the stealership quoted me over $800 to do both front wheel bearings. Found them on rockauto.com and being moog parts for $80 each. Super simple saved me a lot of money then 3 weeks later wife totals out the car 🤦 😆
