      So far it is working well to have very soft flow on the return. Shrimp are diggin’ it!🤘

      Hey friend- As you and i seem to be at a similar time and place regarding our Fish room and channel, may I ask what editing program you employ? I've been doing long take videos from day 1 and I'd like to go up a level without adding time and expense...

      I use Filmora 12. Pretty easy platform and if you play with each button for a day in a test video, you’ll have it down. Plus, it’s like $40 a year.

    Thanks for this! I took a slightly different approach and cut off a 1" piece of large vinyl tubing I had left over from modifying box filters to have more suction (stuff them with polyfill and extend the riser tube to just below the water surface and you can clear the water in a dirty tank FAST). I cut a square hole in the side of it just slightly smaller than the output of the trunano nozzle and slipped it on. It works fantastic! I can turn the pump up to full speed without blowing my shrimp around the tank like they're stuck in the tornado in The Wizard of Oz. The vinyl will eventually turn white and grow weird gunk, but this will work until I can find a mini lily pipe or spin pipe that fits the tiny tubing this canister filter uses.

      @@ssaquascapes I could see a spray bar getting made the same way with smaller diameter, acrylic tubing…

    • @ssaquascapes
      @ssaquascapes  11 місяців тому

      You could. But the flow through that small of a pipe would make a powerful spray bar I think. You’d be better to step it up to larger pipe to reverse the Venturi Effect. Maybe that’s what you mean though. Same 1”pipe?

    • @ssaquascapes
      @ssaquascapes  11 місяців тому +1

      @kingkjun I would use silicon if you have it and have the time to let it cure a day or two. The hot glue held up just fine so it is an option, I just think silicon might be more clear? 🤷🏼‍♂️

    How do you prime your canisters with the spin pipe? I can’t figure out how to siphon to get it primed.

    • @ssaquascapes
      @ssaquascapes  4 місяці тому

      Reverse prime. Siphon through the inflow pipe. 🤘

      @schkuba in that case, it will be easier to remove the spin pipe. Siphon from the exposed outflow hose and then replace the spin pipe.
