Team unbreakable here! This is best possible advertising for the Neo - great work with the unboxing by MJ. I am going to buy one of these as soon as they hit the UK. I would like to see Aquario release a box of different outflow heads (lily, poppy, Jet, spray bar) as well as giving the option to put the skimmer on the inflow so that the filter collects small parts of leaves.
Great unboxing and cheers to actually put them to use. Curious to how these hold up after bleaching and several maintenance/cleaning jobs. Don’t agree that they should add tools that are one time used. From a care for the planet point of view that is at least my opinion. On the product, I love the holders. Thanks
i broke about 8-9 glass skimmer, for last 3 months i'm using acrylic one from uk ebay, what i can tell u, when you will be clean them avoid using those hard sponge(scrape one usually green of yellow) becouse you will scrach acrylic/plastic pipes (i did it) now i just use bleach, and soft sponge and it work well . 👍👍
I always wondered why you couldn't get nice lily pipes in plastic, or at least I couldn't find them. But they look great, cant tell the difference in the video - interesting if they will stay like that like glass does... 🤔
It looks pretty good. I just wish the outlet had the same design as the glass lily pipe outlet, as it just looks better. I'll admit, removing glass lily pipes is scary. I had thought about placing a barbed splicer near the lily pipe hose connection, so I wouldn't have to remove the hose from the glass everytime I clean them...
I definitely will get one set once its available on EU market. I would put outlet at the bottom of the tank to make CO2 flow even better 🤩 BTW what do you guys prefer, the Neo defusser or glass defusser?
It seems to be an excellent alternative to glass lily pipes. In my opinion, if a harder brush is used it will scratch the plastic ... I hope not. Congratulations on the video and for bringing this product. 👍🏻
mostly think the flow is better because the inlet has less restriction. I would like to have 2 long ones so you can hide the tubing most of the way down. Interesting product for what price indeed?!
Best thing is you should be able to cut the pipes to the desired lenght, depends on the hight of the tank :D really looking forward for these. Im just too clumsy for glass >.
Great vid! can you lower the intake and outake from neo to have them almost hang on the side of the rim? (reduce the big curve sticking out) To make it look more aesthetically pleasing.
I would not be surprised if they release different outflow attachment shapes in the near future. In China you can get glass attachments like lily and poppy that connect to the outflow of the SS pipes to replace the jet attachment and they would work on these plastic pipe too.
Thank you for posting the advantage of the lever with the JBL product over the Ehiem. I'm in the USA, but I'll gladly order it on Amazon and wait for the package to arrive from Germany. My aquarium requires this because I'm going to running two Oase Biomaster 850 filters under my 220 gallon tank and will need these to be able to pull the tube of pre-filters out due to the Oase filters being so tall compared to the available vertical clearance under my stand. You've saved me from having a huge problem! THANK YOU!!!
wow mate, this is what i was looking for ! You are a hero ! i break 3 sets of lily pipes, and i just give up on them...can wait to be available for buying!
I don't have the type of plastic you have, but I made my own pipe from acrylic pipe that you use for computer building. It's really easy to work with in order to make custom sizes. I like my upper bend larger, so I can stick a large intake sponge on. I love the configuration options that Aquario has to offer. I'm probably going to purchase one of their units.
I hope they make a transparent plastic surface skimmer like the TOM Aquatics Surface Skimmer cos the current (glass, plastic/acrylic) ones in the market is troublesome to adjust without getting your hands wet.
Something I just realized, because they are made of plastic these can easily be altered to fit different tank sizes. Just get a small hand saw, and cut to the desired lengths. Not to mention how easy these would be to clean compared to normal glass Lilly's. I love glass...but they make me so nervous... I have broken two different pipes... One durring installation, and another while cleaning. These seem to totally solve that problem. However I would not use this in a tank that does not use CO2 without being aware that plastic no matter how well manufactured will be quite a rough surface microscopically compared to a glass surface which means that algae will have a lot easier time attaching to and growing on these pipes.
Hi! I know you're busy on your videos & all, just wanna ask if is there any other method to prevent protein buildup since I don't use a pipe with skimmer. I removed it because my filter is a bit weak for the skimmer & also, I wanna have a cleaner look. Hope you could answer my question. God bless!
Yeah that's a good question, if you don't have a skimmer you can try running an air pump at night, or raise your filter outflow a little bit. Besides that I don't have any suggestions... sorry
My first impressions list Pros: Not fragile, brackets instead of suction, adjustable/variable lengths Cons: outflow is poor design, possibly easier to scratch while cleaning, and might frost from bleach soaks.
I'm using a spring brush from VIV aquatics I believe it is the M size brush, the bends are a little tricky indeed, but with a bit of soap or bleach it usually works.
So now that ypu have had these for a while what are your thoughts? did cleaning them scratch them up? setting up my 1st aquascape soon and I want to use something nicer the the oase in/out flow pipes.
For me, it is out. No choice of outlet shape. For small tanks, I would prefer a round one. With such a strong flow, it is an invitation to algae. But maybe the company has plans to release variable endings. Then maybe I'll try. But at the moment it is rather a product not for plant aquariums.

Plastic stains over time. Look at all the clear internal filter pipers from outlets not clear after a wall, scratch with cleaning or get stained by light and algae. Waste of money.
Are you Team Glass or Team Plastic? Don't forget to leave a like! 👍
I tend to be in the Glass team as pipes made out of glass look shiningly and more transparently.
For someone with a smaller budget like me, this is a great alternative to glass pipes in my opinion. Thx for the video! Greetings from Belgium!
I dont mind plastic
Team unbreakable!
I broke a glass lily pipe and got a nasty cut. Team PETG for sure.
Thanks for this upload. I'm using a modified version of the stock plastic that came with my filter. Mainly for water turnover.
I love how thorough you are with your product unboxing and reviews, it's so helpful!

Could be a good option for the future. Cheers for reviewing an interesting product Mark. 🌿
I like them a lot !! About the price, if I'm correct they sell them on their own website for 24000 Korean Won, which would be around €18 or $22...
Really nice product from aquario, nice to see PETG inflow and outflows. Would be cool to see a different openings such as lily or poppy
Yep that would be even better!
I'm confident a Dennerle Scapers Flow Lily Pipe will fit the M version (12/16mm) perfectly.

Yep I am curious how they will look after I cleaned them.
Looks better then I thought they would look. Still prefer glass though because I think glass looks just a little more classy

After so many damaged in&outflows i will definetly will get those. Clan i clean them with chlorine or is this damaging the plastic?Great Video!
I'm actually not sure if chlorine will damage it... I don't think so, but just to be safe maybe use a small amount.

looks legit i really want one
FINALLY!
But there are 2 things missing for me.
1. I really like when inflow has a "skimming" adapter
2. Lily-shape outflow would be nice.
Pretty sure we will see those items in the future 😊
And thats for me is worth waiting for :-)
I ve been looking into lily pipes and they are all insanely expensive. Like the glass ones are insane. And these are somehow more expensive
smaller, easy to work with, doesn't take up much room
I think I'm going to get one of those.

Nope just bought it like that 😊

My first impressions list
Pros: Not fragile, brackets instead of suction, adjustable/variable lengths
Cons: outflow is poor design, possibly easier to scratch while cleaning, and might frost from bleach soaks.
Not gonna frost or lose colour when dip in bleach. Aquario just released a video on their Facebook page.
Looks great, are these available in the UK?
Never broke a lilypipe. Not that clumsy hahaha. But what brush do you use on your Pipes? I have 12/16 diameter pipes and cant get through the bends!

i broke 2 lily pipe now i use stainless only :) but this Neo flow is nice ;)
My stainless get rusty :(
I cut my hand after shattering a glass lily pipe in my hand while trying to get the hose off of it :D Plastic might be a good option for me.
So now that ypu have had these for a while what are your thoughts? did cleaning them scratch them up? setting up my 1st aquascape soon and I want to use something nicer the the oase in/out flow pipes.
