After I watched this a few days ago I bought 2 sets of lily pipes for both of my 407's. I hated the look of the nasty oem intake and outtake valves. Even bought new fluval rubber gaskets for the pipes for a clean look. Thank you for this video. I didn't even know you could upgrade. Now I have to buy another set for my 207!😄

This is a neat idea. You probably don't even need to have the middle filter plugged in. Would love to see if that would effect anything.

My friend, nice video. I am brazilian, and would like to ask for some tips, please. I just got a R20-2L. It came with two pressure gauges. One of them measures as kg/cm2 and the other as PSI. Do you know which of them mesaures the pressure inside the bottlle? And which is the ideal pressure. The black regulator on top hs to be loose so it is closed right? Thanks

I purchased one before seeing this video I read and followed the instructions also I used a tubing cutter and no leaks whatsoever

Congratulations on the wonderful video! As I've said before, this is my absolute favorite channel for aquaristics on all of UA-cam! I do have a question, though, as I’ve used shelves myself-won’t it be extremely inconvenient to service the middle aquariums? At least for me, it was unbearably awkward to crouch down and change the water or trim the plants.

I have Aqueon tanks because that’s what I can get here and nothing fits on those rims. I wish some manufacturer would see that not everyone has rimless tanks and make something for the rest of us!

Just got the Hygger 24/7 full spectrum HG075-32W, 30-36inches/ 75-90cm from Amazon for about 76 US$ delivered to my doorstep! Nice light for the price, not the strongest light but enough for most beginners and low tech tanks! I like the timer functions including 24/7 sunrise/sunset.

Enjoyable to watch and more importantly listen, to a video in which the speaker did not have to say 'like' every other word, demonstrating the product clearly and thoroughly. Even coming back to explain the 'mystery gadgets'! Another happy video!! One thing I noticed is that stands never match my decor. They always seem bulky. They may be sturdy, perhaps, but it's always a challenge to find something that is not too much. Why not put doors to hide all the maintenance stuff and the food?

That is a pretty great price for a sleek looking metal framed stand. If the side panels were made of metal it would be a no brainer but at this price point there is no way they could do that,

Nice price point for cube style tank which aren't many options out there. I'm surprised they didn't make it with a door with their logo on that instead of having it on one side, but of course that would have made the price go up. Thanks for showing it and your personal opinions that are always appreciated.

Not bad for a tank you want in a main living area but for us with multiple tanks in 1 room a stand like this doesn't fit the bill. I have 13 tanks in my bedroom so I had to build a rack to hold them. I am a fan of the grey and black color though. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼👍🏼

Those bio-rings do very little towards actually filtering your aquarium. The majority of the beneficial bacteria will live in the sand substrate especially since you’re not sticking the aquarium either fish. It would make more sense to either A) remove the rings and move the floss to that position and use more sponge where the floss was or B) remove the rings and replace them with a bag of crushed coral which will actually help to provide the plants the minerals they actually need.

I love this. The scape is great, your energy and willingness to use whatever plants you can find that look cool, and incorporating lessons learned from the previous versions and making things better both for you and the fish! Thanks for the video!

Great ending to a tough story

I don't use C02, but I did manage to kill a female cherry barb about a month ago. She was actually one of my first fish, and I had her about a year. Even after quarantining a dwarf gourami for 11 days, he died about a week after putting him in the main tank. He also made all my other fish sick. They all got ich, which I successfully treated, but they stopped eating for almost 2 weeks, and hid in the bottom of the tank. Fortunately after a full treatment with prazipro, they all recovered except the one female. I had decided if they died, I wasn't going to get anymore fish.

I would make sure the tank is fully cycled before starting. Begin with a lower light setting and gradually increase the intensity each week. Additionally, using CO2 injection with high lights can significantly boost plant growth (but before introducing CO2, if the plants can't produce oxygen bubbles with just the light, I would reconsider my light choice). It sounds like you've put in a lot of effort and done thorough testing-great job!

Great vid! I’m in the middle of constructing an ebb flow system for growing plants so this was handy I picked up some tips. One question what is the Latin name of cardinal plant and is it an aquarium plant as I’ve never heard of it here in Australia. Regards Duzzy🇦🇺
