Easily my favourite band of all time, You should react to the song Comfortably Numb from this concert (PULSE), Also that device he’s using is called a TalkBox. It plays the signal from the guitar up the tube and you make the vowels with your mouth, The signal then goes into the mic 👍

Yeah. I admit I was born in the early 80s and they were a little before my time but Comfortably Numb is phenomenal.

The first time I recall hearing that effect......was back in 1976....on Peter Frampton's album....'Frampton Comes Alive'. The track was 'Do You Feel Like I Do'.

I recommend listening to everything by them. Pink Floyd is the greatest band ever, in my opinion. Time and Comfortably Numb are probably my favorite songs by them, but you can hardly go wrong with any of their music. They will take you on a trip.
Also, people are going to tell you (and they're right) that you should listen to Pink Floyd's albums in full to truly experience how great a band they really are.

The more I hear Pink Floyd songs, the more amazing they are to me. The Wish You Were Here album, from 1975, alone shows how different they can be on one album. They were scary talented.

Comfortably Numb from Pulse concert is even better.Have to beg to differ with the bellowing vocals though, this was meant to be subdued.

Its a Guitar Vocoder. The sound from the guitar goes through a tube that goes to the singer's mouth right next to the microphone. It's similar to how the vocally impaired use a vibrating device that can be shaped into words when they move their mouth as if they are talking. It's like that but with a guitar.

They sampled Stephen Hawking. He gets to add Rock Star to his resume - that's kinda neat. Most of Pink Floyd is mellow and worth a listen. "Great Gig in the Sky" has amazing "vocals", but its a weird definition of the word.

Pink Floyd is a visual and audio event. The lights work in concert with the music. Every song is a visual feat. The lights changing as the song evolves. You should definitely do a reaction to Comfortably Numb and to the song Run Like Hell. Both will blow you away.

PF are all about creating an emotional experience and intelligent lyrics. iconic 'drift off into your own world' songs include 'Echoes' and 'one of these days', from the meddle album. 'time' and 'us and them' from dark side of the moon, 'shine on you crazy diamond' and 'welcome to the machine', from the wish you were here album, 'dogs' and 'sheep' from the animals album. my favourite is the 'live in Gdansk' version of echoes, and 'us and them'. great guitar solos are 'time', 'any colour you like, 'money', the live 1988 version of 'on the turning away', marooned', 'sorrow', the live PULSE version [unedited] of comfortably numb [fans' favourite solo] 'coming back to life', great day for freedom. there are plenty more, but these are my favourites

That is a talkbox that David Gilmore is using. It is a vinyl tube that changes his voice in conjunction with the guitar. This isn't the best song to start your Pink Floyd experience. Check out Comfortably Numb, Time, Welcome to the Machine, Dogs, Learning to Fly or Shine on You Crazy Diamond. #DaVinciREACTS

Pink Floyd is one of if not my favorite groups to listen to, they don't do that much vocal acrobatics, I sort of consider the guitar as their lead vocalist, it soars at times. For a vocal PF experience "The Great Gig in the Sky" is impressive live or studio. There are so many great songs from them but "Comfortably Numb" would be high on the list.

Your volume level is awfully low. I just clicked on the original video link.......and it's fine. It seems to be an issue with YOUR channel only. I've been a fan of Pink Floyd since 1975. Damn near 44 years. Hard to choose a favorite album......but the one I seem to keep returning to most often.....is 'Animals' ( released in 1977 ). I would definitely recommend you check out the track 'Dogs'. And, if you're in a state where weed is legal for recreational use....( or not....)....YEAH! Strap on the headphones, fire up a doobie.....and prepare to take a ride.

this is a special request...please react to Ras Kass - Nature of the Threat...the REAL history they don't teach you in school (what some people would like to say)...you don't have to make a video for it (i'v been requesting this song to other reactors...none of them made a video because of the controversy involving the lyrics & content of the song...or probably youtube won't allow it...who knows!!!)...but at least get back to this comment with the impression this song made on yourself & if you think some of the history is depicted as TRUE or FALSE...imma let the link to the song here: ua-cam.com/video/22XdepPsBmk/v-deo.html

Unfortunately this song means way more than people realize in the year 2023 now more than ever it really means communication for the human race to not stop talking like Stephen hawking continues to say over and over again because he knew and that's why David Gilmour put him in the beginning for this Famous special meaningful song that gets more relevant in each passing day each passing month and each passing year the Doomsday Clock unfortunately keeps getting closer to midnight.
Like Roger Waters said at a live performance this past year in 2022 live to the entire crowd and is more worried now than he was when he made another one of my favorite songs Two Suns and A Sunset with a more powerful meaning and situation that can happen if we stop talking and communicating like the other famous song David Gilmour sings about on his famous voice box that Stephens Hawkins commercial made relevant to help with the other meaning of this song because like him can't talk anymore without the help of technology but there message still stays the same about if we stop talking it will continue to lead us to the ultimate catastrophe another World War if were lucky not to escalate to past of no return into a Nuclear Apocalypse.
Which is the final and last step of my other favorite song by Pink Floyd The Two Suns and a Sunset 🌇 unfortunately in 2023 the recipe for disaster is there and warning flags are going up constantly in my WW2 veteran family members heads for along time now because of it and every little thing that makes it easy for us to get there quickly now all the same ingredients that were happening before WW2 they say today is there just like in 1937 only worse this time everybody has the ability to wipe each other out with just one push of a button at hypersonic speeds the earth and mankind never has dealt with in all of are species history and existence can be over in less than 15 minutes now because of it and no massive oceans this time can prevent it on every side of the globe it's game over
It's like one my favorite songs Folks Keep Talking from my favorite bands Pink Floyd when Stephen Hawking did his famous Commercial in the 90s saying as long as Mankind keeps communicating the human race still has a chance to turn it around no matter how close we get to another catastrophic global disaster like now we face in 2023 like some of my family who faught in WW2 so this never happens again unfortunately they now see all the ingredients are again like it was in 1937 only with hypersonic nukes and way more powerful and devastating warfare weapons on terrifying scale never thought possible it's almost incomprehensible to the mass destruction this will cause you think the most disturbing and scary movie in history threads about a nuclear Holocaust with the most realistic ending in movie history about really what will happen to are human race in end
Which is not being able to reproduce because of radiation wasteland on a apocalyptic scale that even surpasses another great WW3 ending movie on the Beach made in the 1950s where Australia was the last country standing waiting for the end of are existence again either way you look at it people like this song represents we need to keep talking or else
