It's cool to advertise educational stuff, but just so people know so they don't waste time and money, the tech sector right now is ROUGH. Like real rough. You're NOT getting a 6 figure salary with a boot camp. You're probably not gonna get a job either. This isn't like 10 years ago where anyone with barely any coding knowledge can get a job. The tech sector is saturated. Hundreds of thousands to programmers got laid off this year and last year and everyone is racing to the bottom trying to find a job. It's not getting better next year either. Some companies have paused hiring indefinitely. It's real rough, and there's no end in sight as to when the job market for tech will recover. It's not for a while because there are still plenty of people thinking they could easily make 6 figures without a degree and experience, which floods the market with more programmers than job openings. TLDR: Don't go into tech right now. You're going to have a bad time.
My issues with D4 as it is now: - Stability issues (disconnects, rubberbaning, mount is jittery, crashes) - Story ending - Amount of runes needed for crafting mythical
Only had a bit of rubberbanding when i first started playing the expansion, stopped after a couple of minutes. Had no other technical issues so far. Didn't really enjoy the story, but well i didn't like the one in the basegame much either... (funnily enough i liked the D3 Story more than the D4 one, but i can't put a finger on why that is) Can't say much about runes as i only play a bit casually after work and haven't really farmed for anything. My only issues so far were an unskipable campaign (doesn't matter much in the long run but prevents you from making a 2nd char to directly play the season together with others who do not own the expansion) And the inability of the spiritborn to use the previous Event /Battlepass armor cosmetics (which where marked as being for all classes), which is mostly an issue due to having 0 cosmetics for that class that are to my liking (including the ones available in the store)
How about - the boring open world and exact same dungeon layouts every single time. The fact that D3 went against conventional ARPG procedural generation backfired immensely. It makes the game feel way more repetitive, and as an ARPG...that's not good.
@rhykker please read this comment about the realm walker. A lot of people think if you're late, you miss the realm walker. That's wrong though. The problem is, the place where he dies and spawns his portal doesnt show up on the map. I found out by accident running around where the green seasonal realm walker icon was. Basically as long as there isnt an active realm walker walking around, somewhere around the green realm walker icon, you'll be able to find his portal
Indeed, if you pay attention you realize the RW is heading to a specific location, identified by the corruption pool looking spot on the ground, and is unkillable until reaching there.
@@bhec7715 you would think though that would be a selling point that more campaign would be added each season. Not just season story's that lets face are rather lacking in depth.
The best way for seasonal reputation by far, is hire the mercenary that highlights enemy mobs, and go for the realm walker event map, instead of go after the realm walker, just kill the mobs on the open world. When the realm walker is activated, do the realm walker and the realm walker dungeon. If you finish the dungeon fast, exit dungeon and continue killing mobs. This will give you about 500 reputation per run if you kill mobs fast enough. If you find waiting the realm walker is boring(which is right), killing mobs without doing realm walker gives me about 300 per run.
I just literally got into Diablo games a couple of days ago and am finally starting to understand why people find these games so addicting. I'm 7 hours in Diablo 4, and it's been fun. I'm just going to focus on figuring out things my way and building my character my own way instead of going online and looking for the best build for my class.
Kinda shocked people aren't talking about the gameplay clips. You literally can't see anything going on becuase of all the damage numbers... including even reading the numbers.
I turn them off. Just does not make sense to me to see 7 digit damage numbers... absolutely unnecessary and it would just ruin my gaming experience so I turn them off as well.
The crashing is really bad. Lots of posts on it. Sometimes it hits, sometimes not. It's really irritating however, when you crash while in a dungeon and have to start over, lose potion effects, etc. That's one of those things that needs to be fixed ASAP.
I'm personally not running into any of those crashes I've had one weird instant where in the beginning of story where you go to locron's house or whatever and you have to beat those guards where I went away from my game after I beat the boss and it logged me off I logged back in and I had to do it again...
If I had a nickel for every time a Diablo sequel was canned because it was a completely different genre, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
Game turned into a frankenstein's monster of MMO/aRPG with no clear path ahead and bunch of systems put together. HUGE kudos to art and combat dev teams because those two things are holding Diablo 4 together IMO. But apart from this - It's still sadly a game without a strong direction. Even biggest fanboys have NO IDEA where the game's going becasue, within a freakin YEAR Diablo 4 changed direction at least 4 times:/ So yeah... I'm done.
Because it's setup as a copy of act 3 d2. So it feels like launch was first 2 acts and this is the 3rd. I can tell their idea is converting acts from d2 into expansion areas. By 5th expansion I figure we will finally be fighting diablo.
I feel like this is gonna have multiple chapters to release with new seasons going forward. Kinda how destiny did with its incomplete DLC's . Like like story driven player capture trap. Which honestly I'm cool with.
@@ZoraTheExploraI think you’re right about that, Mephisto and Lilith both have beaten us over the head with the fact that Baal and Diablo will return from Hell, so I’m guessing Diablo will be the year after next.
Voh is a what happened years later . If you read all the books, tomes etc in D2 , D3 , Immortal they say basically Mephisto is the political one using his kids and brothers as pawns to mess with all sides making him the strongest but things keep going awry . His manipulations gave us the stories our characters deal with . Also remember the Paladin is from Zakarum and you see what happened to it once Leoric's kid passed though.
For ppl having crash issues, check your graphic settings. I played initial d4 in all ultra setting with no issues. In VoH i was having stuttering and crashes. I checked the setting and they changed the ultra texture settings to be for 4K, high is now for upto 4k. I switched to high, lost no image quality and my stuttering and crashes stopped. This may not work for everyone but it fixed my issues
Potion was an issue until wt1 where you can play hordes. I started a 2nd character and boosted it to 60 in 30 min and was instantly able to max my potions and build 100+ elixirs
Potions were never really an issue since the base healing is trivial and they all have the same 35% heal over time. There's never been much reason to upgrade them, it's just as Rhykker mentioned the game makes it seem like something you should do even if you don't have the mats yet. But ya once you hit t1 you get basically unlimited crafting mats again.
There are instructions in D4 on how to get materials and so forth. Just open the character window and find the materials tab and then hover your mouse over the icon for a material you want to know about, and it tells you exactly where to find these things in the game and I love it.
I'm having the same issue but with last epoch, i'd recommend just doing what i did there and playing other classes if endgame rng isn't fun but you still wanna play the game
@@ashesofaraneayeah I usually do that if the end game becomes tedious I just make another character and start from scratch no need to burn yourself out on trying to find that specific gear. After all there will be a new season and we start from scratch so.
On the treasure room objectives... I really want to see them make those objectives a little more visible. I ran one yesterday where I killed every monster, picked up every item, but never had the anima required to unlock the room. Just a bit annoying.
Game may be alright now, but still, a fraction of D3 or POE for 89.99 + battle pass + mtx -- and it's psychologically designed that you feel like a pleb if you go with anything less. Can't support such an absurd greed and basically robbery in broad daylight.
I was just thinking the same thing earlier when grinding dungeons in Nahantu to unlock the zone rep paragon levels. Having those objectives be optional side objectives feels SO much better. For people who just want to blast through the dungeon to the end, you can do that. For those that want to explore more, they add a bit more to the other random events dungeons already had. I don't know how much work it would be to do this but I really hope they go back at some point and update the original dungeons to work that same way.
For those that are having trouble getting mats for any of the upgrade systems. If you are running a Spiritborn with the broken evade build through the Infernal Hordes on the highest level i.e. the one with 10 waves and drop all of the burning aether into the materials chest two or three times and the only mat you will need to worry about is the gem fragments, obducite.
If you have that build running you don't need mats 😂 people are having the problem before they even reach that dumb glitch bs and speed running mid tier hordes is faster and easier with more matts per hour then going for high tier less than 5% of players will likely reach without a giga build which most players do not have , look at leaderboards jfc 😂😂😂 Do you even play this game? 😂😂
Exactly this, they removed the typical Diablo game, you fight diablo in the base game, then fight others in following expansions/dlc. It's called Diablo for a reason. not Lilith or mephisto.
Ill make it easier for You... it is not a Diablo game Blizzard's Diablos like 3,4,immortal are the equivalent of the starwars sequels. Not made by original minds that made the masterpieces. Disney StarWars is Disney Starwars and Blizzard's Diablos is Blizzard's Diablos, not Blizzard North's Diablos
While I certainly didn't care for Nyrelle, I didn't exactly hate her either. I just wasn't very attached her. I had that issue with a lot of characters in Diablo 4 tbh. I think the only character that I actually got attached to in the vanilla storyline was Vigo. I think his story was done very well over the course of several quests, optional NPC dialogue and environmental storytelling. I didn't feel the same way for Nyrelle or Donan or the Witch Doctor chick. The one thing Vessel of Hatred did for me is made me care about Nyrelle. I have a hard time watching people suffer, especially kids. I also empathize as someone who often struggled with trying to do things on my own to my detriment. I think they did a good job with the story but it seems like that's a minority opinion.
whos vigo?... thats how relevant the characters in this game are for me... I didnt liked the story, the game started good, then after literaly first part going to the city, game is another thing and predictable... not as much as the power ranger plot of diablo3... but I realy dont remember anything after the first part of tge game, nothing was relevant or inpactful (I mean in a not forced way, like when they try to make you like neyrelle all the time, but I hated her)
@@hugocarvalho8906 Vigo was the Cathedral of Light guy who winds up in the Iron Maiden armor thing that gives you the shield so you can finish a boss fight during the Kyovashad part of the game.
Ive waited the whole game to see her removed from the story in any way possible, just to be disappointed. And as well as pre expansion i did not notice the act boss fight or that the game is actually finished.... Its so stupid not to make act bosses meaningfully different and harder than other bosses.
Thank you for telling me about the mounts for sale at the stables. I never would have thought to look for anything there. I assumed it was another "For cash money" shop.
Gotta be honest, I did not like the story. Nyrelle is a boring character, it would have been more interesting if the Wanderer was the one with the stone suffering from the effects of Mephisto’s influence and needed to free themselves from it. But worse than that was the ending. (SPOILER WARING): not only do the good guys straight up lose and Mephisto gets basically everything he wanted, but the player has absolutely no voice in how Eru is dealt with. The devs must have some seriously twisted morality when it comes to this subject; every drop of pain and suffering that Mephisto causes henceforth is explicitly Eru’s fault, but all the characters keep talking about how he’ll redeem himself and how they understand why he did it. Eru is functionally a genocidal maniac, he was perfectly happy to let the entire world burn just so long as his land stayed safe. He is not a fallen hero, he is explicitly a villain. (END SPOILER) That’s out of the way, all the technical changes and expanded gameplay feels really good. It’s just too bad the story was trash.
You're playing a tragedy. I never saw a good ending for sanctuary when demons always reform and angels don't care, and now without a worldstone, free roam from hell.
Yeah the story was bad. I didn't find myself invested in it at all. Nyrelle is a forgettable boring character along with most of the others. Seems to be my issue with a lot of games, movies, and shows these days. Bad characters and writing that doesn't make me care about them at all.
It also just felt like such a slog and everything was so predictable. The dialogue was lame and nearing D3 levels of camp. And it was again go here to get this macguffin then go here for this macguffin and again go back to where you were earlier in the campaign once you have said macguffins.
It's simple....Should have had the Paladin class in it. People complained about the absence of the Paladin in the main Roster of Diablo IV and the Devs said. "We don't know yet, But you can Probably expect it Sooner rather than later" They announced that the DLC will be taking place in a Jungle! Players "Yes the Paladin order comes from a Jungle, from the Zakarum Temple" We know Mephisto is coming back in some way! Mephisto corrupted the Zakarum priests and forced the Paladins who survived to seek help in allies! It has to be the Paladin class! Hype. Shortly after.....Sorry we made a new class just because "We" wanted to make one instead of giving you the Class you wanted, But you will like the class we made, it's so much better than some Paladin hehehe. Yeah....The Paladin doesn't really fit this DLC at all. I mean...The Paladin has nothing to do with Mephisto, a Jungle, The Zakarum, Akarat and Corruption! (Massive Sarcasm!) Tell me a more obvious way to say that you are dumb Devs! If you can even call yourself a "Developer" More like "Decliner" But that is just half the Story! Your writing team needs to really thing it over and maybe consider a career change! Sorry I had to get that out of my system. These " "Developers" " Just Anger me. All I feel is hate, Mabye it's Mephisto's doing. >.>
I feel like there plan is to continue to make expansions and release new classes. I'm sure they will release paladin in future. They r trying to keep players engaged and have a reason to play seasons
actually prefer no Paladin personally as the class is oversaturated and really don't need it now. Blizzard also said there will be no classic classes returning aside from those in the base game- get over it
@@R.J.MacReady1982 not once has Paladin, Crusader (the superior version of Paladin honestly) ever been announced by Blizzard. They explicitly said that they were not bringing back any old classes except the five in Diablo 4’s base game. That’s it

While in D4 I am currently on 300 hours and I feel like I finally found joy in something else than LoL.

As someone who thinks about solutions to games I play a lot... I don't think of a solution in an hour or a minute. I consider the ramifications of that solution and brain storm it for weeks sometimes MONTHS before I actually suggest something. The most frustrating part about that is when you suggest something you've considered for months and months and months and detailed everything on the changes and why and it takes 2-3 years before the devs come to the same conclusion you have. Don't discount everyone making a suggesting. And don't believe everyone who makes a suggestion only is considering it for a very short amount of time.
The fact we still have the same server rubberbanding, crashes, launch issues every single season start..like 6 seasons in and my character still rubber bands like it’s season 1
Its the content creators that are really helping hold the devs to standards while navigating the ship from the voice of the fans, standing as a pillar that lifts the entire community and game as a whole. Creators like Rhykker here that have had humble starts doing lore videos, to becoming one of the best streamers on twitch. Can't. Stop. Winning.

Thats the opposite of winning pretending that garbage is great lying to yourself and to your audience... Forced to lie so you can pay off your condo.... Thats losing to me.
@@DietMtnDew Get off Rhykkers nuts and get an independent thought bro... Asmongold might have shit takes from time to time but this one is actually right. However since you do not independently think you cant see that. I ranted how shit D4 is for over a year, way before I even saw Asmongolds take on this. Blizzard is sadly literally a sickness. They are incapable of bringing out good content. Because of the way the company is designed. They cant have the necessary edge the story cant be harsh enough and violent enough. And since the audience is so vanilla and has no expectations on videogame design (logically if you are happy with that level of story telling you will eat up anything that is given to you) they dont have to put in any effort into the gameplay. So yeah Blizzard can not produce a good game ever. They just dont need to. They filtered the part of the audience that actually minds this stuff out so all thats left are paypigs with no taste. Have fun with your game. Be happy that an objectively bad game like Diablo is enough to entertain you. I get to play like 2 games a year that are good, But for you you must run into good games all the time that entertain you. I wish my brain was so easily entertain-able that mashing buttons and seeing a few pixels light up was enough to stimulate me.
I wont be giving Blizzard any more of my money. What they have done to the Diablo franchise is nothing short of a damn shame. D3 was a horrible experience d4 has been even worse. Warcraft retail is the same. Developers who are ran by board members who have zero soul. Corporate greed has effectively killed Blizzard.
I really don’t like how they re-added the “dungeon rewards” at the end of an NMD. Just drop the items. I hate that those items go in my inv when I don’t want them to
When the expansion dropped, I opted to play with the Necromancer I first created to complete the original storyline with. He was never a seasonal character but for my own story continuity, I wanted to play the next part of the story with him. So when it came to potions and such, I have such a stash of materials and gold in the Eternal realm from all my seasonal characters, that I had absolutely no issues with making massive upgrades to everything right away. I finally finished the story content on Friday and I leveled my first Spiritborn to level 20 yesterday. I'm definitely not a speedrun player and since I take my time, I tend to miss a lot of the early season glitches.
It's an expansion not Dlc first off . DLC is optional items this is a core game expansion 😂 Area added is far bigger than both games , more actual dungeons, more content by ALOT , No ITH weapons 😂😂😂 and on a game 200x more complex to make that required a giant team . How fucking stupid are you kids 😂
Your response on how they update Nahantu dungeons. They need to do this for everything. I love being able to engage or not engage based on how I’m feeling or the reason I’m playing.
This time on Rhykker saturday update: -Rhykker recommends you do some softcore before you go hard. -Diablo good! community (slightly) upset. -The spiritborn is basically the monk if the monk was completely and utterly different. -If blizzard did steam in 2000 it wouldn't have been good.
!SPOILER! For the biggest dog poop story ive seen in a game in short: 1. Female Frodo from Temu is actually an independent woman that wants to do everything alone for no reason. 2. All the cutscenes are like 3 mins long how someone is crying 3. Not a single bad ass moment just constant crying 4. Wont mention Jesus cause the moment you see that shiny Lion king Diablo vibe goes away. 5. The main character is actually Jon Snow from GoT cause all he says is "NYREEL" and look worried. Ma QUEEN 6. Lorah is nowhere to be seen , dont really know why. 7. When you reach the end you think ohhh iam gonna fight Mephisto but instead you fight a dog with cool design but very bad fight. 8. Ending is brain dmg "WIll i see you again JESUS" lets finish this with the power of love... 9. Eru betrays for like no reason 10. Next expansion Nyreel will be the daughter of Tyreal and they will reunite making a beam of light killing the primes with the power of love "i wont leave you again" MA QUEEN I like the game but ohhh boy the story is supposed to hype you and what this story did is ... I hope the folks that did this story stop working on future ones, how do you even mess up a story that should be about killing demons.
Frodo from Temu and Jon Snow are hilarious, yet correct labels, I love them. Main character even got ressed after having a sword run through him. Get used to seeing every story character cry and "show his emotions", that's the new blizz. Or stop buying their games. I know what I'd do.
Story almost made me quit D4. Hope they just have a skip for the story form start next expansion. I know they will fuck it up. And not fighting Mephisto.... I just wanted to kill Nyrel at some point and let Mephist go :D
Back in the old days they would stick the soulstone in her forehead and later in the story kill her, and even more back in the older days - dismember her and put her limbs on the spikes in hell. Ah, good old days.
honestly as an necro main in d4 and d3, seeing ability to switch skills as such with the spiritborne was awsome. As my d3 necro autto attacks causing blood surge...kinda felt good evading around doing something simular
Finished 2 lvl 60s and full upgraded potions on both before the patch. It was really not an issue at all.. Yea, took a little time to get after getting up, but playing a little here and there, and not "min-max"'ing, will easly keep it up.....
When Diablo launched I regularly fell asleep playing through the story and almost traded it in. Then last season I got back into it and got over pit 100 and platinumed the game. Now this season I can't even put it down it's just so much fun. I really like the new torment levels and the stat squash makes it much easier to understand what's happening. Love your hammerdin video helped me a lot. Keep up the great vids Rhykker.
Doesn't the Whispers chest drop a ton of materials? At the end or the Realm Walkers allow you to choose if you want materials? It's unusual that people are complaining about this yet there are glaring ways to get them?

The VoH campaign wasn't worth the price. All the other elements they added felt half baked or could have been added in a season. If the VoH campaign was part of the original D4 campaign and the VoH campaign instead focused on the events after, it would have been more interesting.
in development and handed off from team to team to team. Thats not really the same thing, future teams scrapped alot of ideas that previous teams worked on for D4, including blizzard north.
By "no content" you mean more content than any Diablo title before it, at launch. Right? You do realize that any Diablo, including D3, at launch had only the campaign, and D4 base has the longest campaign of all the Diablo titles, and also, at launch, for the first time, had endgame content, side quests, events, and world bosses. This is "no content"

the official information : It can be inferred that Diablo IV’s development began around 2013-2014, with the official announcement and start of active development happening around 2019. This would put the total development time at around 6-7 years, with some overlap between planning and active development. It’s worth noting that one user on the Diablo IV forums mentioned that the game was in development for 12 years, but this claim is not supported by any official statements or credible sources. The majority of evidence suggests that Diablo IV took around 6-7 years to develop, with some preparation and planning happening earlier.

It's interesting when people talk about how Blizzard used to be good at fixing their game, when Microsoft just axed 50% of the D4 development team. How can you get great content, when a huge part of your team is gone. I'm also sure they probably axed the highest paid employees too, which means the ones left are not as experienced... which tells me Microsoft doesn't really care if D4 is a success or not.
Ive fallen through the map into the void TWICE! I fall and while Im falling with a green screen background, I am able to teleport back to town, but I lose my place in the quest and have to start over.
I've disliked Nayrelle since she first whinged and sobbed her way through the original campaign. I've not finished the expac stuff yet, but it still seems like she's whinging and sobbing. Do I dislike her because she's a female? No. I very much enjoyed the character of Leah in d3 and, as a character, I think she was much better written. Despite even that, I dislike the whole trend of my character being an agentless spectator in someone else's story. I feel the same in games like GW2; I'm "the commander" but the real events are happening to the NPCs with only minor input from me. Sure I'm killing things and getting loot, but I have no personal investment in the story; it's happening "over there" to "that person" and despite Lorath telling me I should care, feel bad, or be worried...I don't and I'm not. I could really care less if she gets her soul swallowed or whatever. The same way I didn't care that deconstructed Inarius got pwned by Lilith. It's just lazy and lackluster writing all around that disinterests me, and I don't enjoy being the sidekick to the scripted NPC protagonist. My tuppence.
All the games have you sidelined, you're just cleaning up the mess someone made before you. The ending is a problem and makes it seems like filler instead of epic adventure.
Ramp up your Hordes so you get both gear/ forgotten souls from the gear chest and more mats from the mats chest. Running 10 waves is the best. You can also focus farm on tree of whispers. Best advice I can give!
Why has no one mentioned the audio issues currently plaguing the game. It is basically unplayable if you have the volume turned up at all. And with multiple threads on the blizzard forums we still have no recognition from the D4 team.

Early matts, like Iron and and Angel breath were def very scarce, Thought i was doing something wrong. It did slow me down a bit from progressing to higher difficulties quicker, but wasnt a game breaker, Once i started cooking a bit in Helltide and unlocked the some of the many rewards through out it wasn't a problem at all. @moforyguy6803 Talking shit just for fun and providing strong but true critisims are 2 different things. And not sure how long you've been following Rhykker, but he used to be able to separate a biased opinion and the reality of the topic.
Those minor nitpicks he started with are really all there is, everything else about the expansion is great which is why it's basically universally being praised. The people still stuck in the "D4 bad" mindset seem to be more the ones struggling hard to cope with their reality being questioned by literally everyone playing. I was one of the biggest critics of this game when it released, the last few updates have truly fixed it and the expansion is amazing. Deal with it.

@@EnzoVinZ I think you may need to look up "projecting." This is a D4 news channel, it basically only covers D4 and a smattering of other topics. I play D4, so I watch all the videos and read some of the comments hoping to find productive ones. Why are you here again?
Evade build is funny AF. It's getting nerfed for sure, but I'll have fun till then. We need a wardrobe, cause switching between evade (speed farming) and quills (pushing) is brutal.
Fun. You play these games to have fun and push your build as far as you can. The game has plenty of avenues for progression and increasing difficulty. Once you hit the limit of what you can or want to do, you start over with a new build. That's how all these games work. How many characters do you get to 99 in PoE every league for example?
Actually having good drop rates for mats in cellars would be a good reason to go into them. I usually just ignore them. If I knew I could go into a cellar in a specific region to get a specific mat or another region for a different mat, I would definitely start doing them.
Two notes for me on season 6. As for angel breath, I ran into not having enough at level 50, but a single whispers run got me more than enough. So that's probably the best thing, and honestly, if it were any other season of not doing a campaign, I probably would have run a few of those naturally anyway. Second on the story, now I'm not fully down with the main questline, and so far I'm enjoying it enough, but there is one problem I have. Both D2 and D3 didn't really do "Seasons" until after their expansions. So, when new story came you just continued with the character you had. Here in D4, it felt really awkward to me having a continuation story while starting a fresh level 1 character, especially of a different class than my initial playthrough. I wish they had tweaked the story for it to be a new hero that found Neyrelle along her journey with the stone.
Take away - Expansion is NOT worth full price (wait until a sale), Story feels short and lackluster because they fill the length of time with constant mobs around the corner (wish they would've just focused of crafting a better story) and Realm Walkers are slow. The Region of Nahantu is beautiful and vibrant, Music is great and the Dark Citadel is a very good addition. Overall - D4 is okay for the next couple of weeks, not necessarily good but definitely close.
My thoughts on it are: I think it is worth the 40 dollar base game, but I would not say it is worth it to buy the 90 dollar ultimate bundle. I know it comes with some cool armor for all the characters, mount and armor, AND 3000 platinum (that's 30 bucks itself), but honestly I'm just interested in playing the game. I think I've purchased 3 cosmetics from the shop since the game launched last year. Overall, to me, I'm really liking the changes and overall feel of the game now. Tempering does feel more weighted with certain affixes though....
The story felt like it was written by people that didn't play the base game. Neyrelle was never our "friend". She used us to create a soulstone to trap Lilith, then took it upon herself to mephisto instead for no reason at all and ran off leaving us to die because we had to deal with Lillith without the stone. Screw her. She was an annoying "modern audience" Mary Sue and the writers aren't even aware enough that she's the reason the world is screwed now.
?? MULTIPLE times throughout the expansion its shown she knows what she did was wrong and even would rather be killed. Mary sue?? The entire expansion is about her flaws lmao. 'no reason at all' our character gave her the choice because we didn't know what to do either since Mephisto was also on the verge of getting out anyway. Issue was Lilith was already there and we didnt know the real threat of Mephisto until the very end and had to make a quick decision. Hell even in THIS very expansion Akarat is saying he's going to get out anyway as well lol, his hell prison was done for.. Now the writing and pacing is garbage but come on. (her running off was 100% stupid and not explained at all imo). But the decision to trap him was fine.
…that term is thrown around too much. She lost her arm due to a zombie attack, her mom basically picked Lilith over her, she’s mind screwed by Mephisto. Her main skill is in research. You don’t know what a Mary Sue is.
@@wormer104 She spends nearly every scene with Lorath belittling him and having the plot validate her claiming that she knows better than the horadrim because she read a book once. She never fails at anything she attempts and acts completely independently of the plot.
I’m having such a blast this season, they’ve truly listed to what we need and what we don’t need and they’re working on fixing the game. All the stress at blizzard now with recent cuts and they’re still working hard as ever to make the game great for us, you have to give them kudos for this!!
My big complaint is having to have the expansion on every platform you own to be able to access it. I don't think this was mentioned before the release. I sure didn't see it.
It didn't affect previous parts of the game. Mounts, emotes, etc. All work ever if you only bought the ultimate edition on one platform. So you don't know what your talking about @ZoobleZi . (Can't say I'm surprised.)
@ZoobleZi It's not how it worked with the Ultimate Edition edition. Nothing was locked from one platform to the other. It's not how it worked with either set of preorder bonuses.

The shills are in panic mode
You're going to have a bad time.
bro, whoever is supporting you is doing a disfavor to the world of gaming reviews...Like really, please consider another job cuz you suck at this one.
D4 good ? D4 never be good, that's a fact.
@@crowlee1328 he will remove your comment you shouldn t say that
My issues with D4 as it is now:
- Stability issues (disconnects, rubberbaning, mount is jittery, crashes)
- Story ending
- Amount of runes needed for crafting mythical
honestly pretty good for a list of bad things. 2/3 things will get fixed
Only had a bit of rubberbanding when i first started playing the expansion, stopped after a couple of minutes.
Had no other technical issues so far.
Didn't really enjoy the story, but well i didn't like the one in the basegame much either... (funnily enough i liked the D3 Story more than the D4 one, but i can't put a finger on why that is)
Can't say much about runes as i only play a bit casually after work and haven't really farmed for anything.
My only issues so far were an unskipable campaign (doesn't matter much in the long run but prevents you from making a 2nd char to directly play the season together with others who do not own the expansion)
And the inability of the spiritborn to use the previous Event /Battlepass armor cosmetics (which where marked as being for all classes), which is mostly an issue due to having 0 cosmetics for that class that are to my liking (including the ones available in the store)
How about - the boring open world and exact same dungeon layouts every single time. The fact that D3 went against conventional ARPG procedural generation backfired immensely. It makes the game feel way more repetitive, and as an ARPG...that's not good.
@AnotherMagicalday what paragon level are you?
@AnotherMagicalday so does that make everyone's complaining invalid?
Realm Walker is that old lady on a walker walking down the stairs.

hilarious to watch the shills scramble around in panic mode this week "D4 good D4 good please believe me!" LOL
Good info- thanks.
No way - WOW! I will check this out, thank you! I was super annoyed by this, because you constantly "miss" it....
Indeed, if you pay attention you realize the RW is heading to a specific location, identified by the corruption pool looking spot on the ground, and is unkillable until reaching there.
Still a pretty meh mechanic.
this honestly should be pinned.
My issue with the campaign is it feels like half a campaign. The ending felt more like a mid expansion act change.
Yeah I was like, is that it, but if they planning to release an expansion every 15 (5 seasons) months then they will have to keep some story for that.
It’s almost like they cut out half this expansion, including the Paladin class, and sold it for $40 anyway.
Exactly! After the campaign is the same situation as before we even started. So VoH didn't progress the story in any meaningful way.
Pretty sure there will be story added each season. If not then yeah, the story is ridiculous. I guess I’m just assuming they’re not that stupid.

The crashing is really bad. Lots of posts on it. Sometimes it hits, sometimes not. It's really irritating however, when you crash while in a dungeon and have to start over, lose potion effects, etc. That's one of those things that needs to be fixed ASAP.
That's too bad. I haven't experienced any crashes.
Happened twice to me in the 8 O’clock hour. Pissed me off so I logged out for the night!
I'm personally not running into any of those crashes I've had one weird instant where in the beginning of story where you go to locron's house or whatever and you have to beat those guards where I went away from my game after I beat the boss and it logged me off I logged back in and I had to do it again...
Upgrade the Realmwalker to a Relamrunner ASAP!
If I had a nickel for every time a Diablo sequel was canned because it was a completely different genre, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
At least you have two nickels to rub together 😂
I'd rather be ARPGing through zerglings as Jim Raynor.
Hellgate London anyone 😂
Game turned into a frankenstein's monster of MMO/aRPG with no clear path ahead and bunch of systems put together.
HUGE kudos to art and combat dev teams because those two things are holding Diablo 4 together IMO. But apart from this - It's still sadly a game without a strong direction.
Even biggest fanboys have NO IDEA where the game's going becasue, within a freakin YEAR Diablo 4 changed direction at least 4 times:/
So yeah... I'm done.
If you told me Vessel of Hatred was originally Act 2 of Diablo 4, I'd believe you.
Act 3
Voh is a what happened years later .
If you read all the books, tomes etc in D2 , D3 , Immortal they say basically Mephisto is the political one using his kids and brothers as pawns to mess with all sides making him the strongest but things keep going awry . His manipulations gave us the stories our characters deal with .
Also remember the Paladin is from Zakarum and you see what happened to it once Leoric's kid passed though.
I propose a shorter alternative VoH story: when Neyrelle starts crying, we shove the soulstone into her head, and then we fight Mephisto.
Your points on UX design are so spot on, and I hadn't considered the visual/ settings solutions you recommended. Great vid
Finally a point of attack for this...the crashes have been plaguing me in this patch. Def checking this when I get home. Thanks for the tip
13:00 I 100% Agree, the music has been insane with this new expansion, especially the "Ah Bulan" boss fight soundtrack was epic.
I was having fun but the amount of different things you have to grind just for RNG upgrades is getting to me now.
I'm having the same issue but with last epoch, i'd recommend just doing what i did there and playing other classes if endgame rng isn't fun but you still wanna play the game
What? Its literally an ARPG
@@ashesofaranealove Last Epoch but I immediately burn out as soon as I hit end game. It’s so…lifeless.
@@ashesofaraneayeah I usually do that if the end game becomes tedious I just make another character and start from scratch no need to burn yourself out on trying to find that specific gear. After all there will be a new season and we start from scratch so.
ARPGs are just Fancy Slot Machines.
If you have that build running you don't need mats 😂 people are having the problem before they even reach that dumb glitch bs and speed running mid tier hordes is faster and easier with more matts per hour then going for high tier less than 5% of players will likely reach without a giga build which most players do not have , look at leaderboards jfc 😂😂😂
Do you even play this game? 😂😂
The thing I hate most about Diablo 4, it’s the first and only Diablo game where Diablo is not in the game of Diablo.
Exactly this, they removed the typical Diablo game, you fight diablo in the base game, then fight others in following expansions/dlc. It's called Diablo for a reason. not Lilith or mephisto.
It’s a expansion to Diablo 3 😂😂
YET…..
@@jasonirvin6782 yet what?

Blizzard's Diablos like 3,4,immortal are the equivalent of the starwars sequels.
Its so stupid not to make act bosses meaningfully different and harder than other bosses.
i feel exactly like you.
If I could like this again, I would. You summarized how I feel about these characters completely.
(END SPOILER)
That’s out of the way, all the technical changes and expanded gameplay feels really good. It’s just too bad the story was trash.
You're playing a tragedy. I never saw a good ending for sanctuary when demons always reform and angels don't care, and now without a worldstone, free roam from hell.
So, they did it again 😂🤣
Yeah the story was bad. I didn't find myself invested in it at all. Nyrelle is a forgettable boring character along with most of the others. Seems to be my issue with a lot of games, movies, and shows these days. Bad characters and writing that doesn't make me care about them at all.
In case we all didn't know...the realm walker is really the wanderer...there's literally a giant hole it's carrying, lol
It also just felt like such a slog and everything was so predictable. The dialogue was lame and nearing D3 levels of camp. And it was again go here to get this macguffin then go here for this macguffin and again go back to where you were earlier in the campaign once you have said macguffins.
For the resource issues you literally just need to do whispers or infernal hordes.
(Massive Sarcasm!)
Tell me a more obvious way to say that you are dumb Devs! If you can even call yourself a "Developer" More like "Decliner"
But that is just half the Story! Your writing team needs to really thing it over and maybe consider a career change! Sorry I had to get that out of my system. These " "Developers" " Just Anger me. All I feel is hate, Mabye it's Mephisto's doing. >.>

It’s $30 on Xbox. I’m more pissed that I have to get this to get a companion and lfg which should have been in the base game.
Your response on how they update Nahantu dungeons. They need to do this for everything. I love being able to engage or not engage based on how I’m feeling or the reason I’m playing.
This time on Rhykker saturday update:
-Rhykker recommends you do some softcore before you go hard.
-Diablo good! community (slightly) upset.
-The spiritborn is basically the monk if the monk was completely and utterly different.
-If blizzard did steam in 2000 it wouldn't have been good.
D4 good? Is this the new shill talking points video?
diablo 4 is the worst diablo so far
Dope video really like the extra stuff at the end about steama and whatnot too.
!SPOILER!
For the biggest dog poop story ive seen in a game in short:
1. Female Frodo from Temu is actually an independent woman that wants to do everything alone for no reason.
2. All the cutscenes are like 3 mins long how someone is crying
3. Not a single bad ass moment just constant crying
4. Wont mention Jesus cause the moment you see that shiny Lion king Diablo vibe goes away.
5. The main character is actually Jon Snow from GoT cause all he says is "NYREEL" and look worried. Ma QUEEN
9. Eru betrays for like no reason
10. Next expansion Nyreel will be the daughter of Tyreal and they will reunite making a beam of light killing the primes with the power of love "i wont leave you again" MA QUEEN
I like the game but ohhh boy the story is supposed to hype you and what this story did is ... I hope the folks that did this story stop working on future ones, how do you even mess up a story that should be about killing demons.
You have to expect a betrayal. I knew it was coming for no reason. 😂
@@Straggler8that's why it's called good old days not good new days.. :/

Keep up the great vids Rhykker.
thanks for the report! i have noticed quite a bit of rubberbanding or server lag on XB|SX but this story is so epic so far! can’t wait to finish it
Doesn't the Whispers chest drop a ton of materials? At the end or the Realm Walkers allow you to choose if you want materials? It's unusual that people are complaining about this yet there are glaring ways to get them?
Ive never had a problem with materials any season prior to this, thats the problem my guy lol this season feels like it took a step backwards
@@Anultralisk Sounds like they just altered stuff and you need to adjust on the new ways.

the general consensus I've heard is that finally D4 is worth 60$, but not base game + expac price.
what? stop asking expansions free. they will always cost money. Expacs are NOT free. stop that entitled crap.
@@stonecold5373 The price for what you get doesn't make sense.

I haven’t had material issues for upgrading potions/crafting, then again, I’m selecting material opals, doing Legion events, and making use of Subo’s skill for gathering.
The VoH campaign wasn't worth the price. All the other elements they added felt half baked or could have been added in a season. If the VoH campaign was part of the original D4 campaign and the VoH campaign instead focused on the events after, it would have been more interesting.
D4 was in active development for 7 years and we still got a base game with basically no content. I don't know what to make of that.
in development and handed off from team to team to team.
@@fostena Yeesh dude, calm down. The expectation for a live service launch now is different from what it was 12 years ago. PoE2 is launching with a plethora of endgame activities to do.
@@Aziraphale686 ok so by "no content" you mean "far less endgame activities compared to a yet unreleased title", got it.
the official information : It can be inferred that Diablo IV’s development began around 2013-2014, with the official announcement and start of active development happening around 2019.
Zakarune favor drops more in the zone were the realmwalker spawns, even the mobs that arent spawned by the realmwalker, u get much quicker then other places in game.
You don't need a huge team anymore after the initial game is built.
That must have been fucking awful working there for that to happen.
@@R.J.MacReady1982 Most likely a ton of paycheck stealers, people ''working'' with useless titles that isnt needed.
Nayrelle the whiny weak, but boss b1tch babe Marie sue.
All the games have you sidelined, you're just cleaning up the mess someone made before you. The ending is a problem and makes it seems like filler instead of epic adventure.
Well said. I also hate this.
They got our money they couldnt care less
I'm interested in seeing what the mid-season patch is gonna entail and also waiting to hear about the progress of the Armory :D
Bugs because Microsoft laid off QA and in classic blizz public relations fashion they had to release on Oct 8 to counter release of Jason Schreier book.
Didn't have any issues keeping up with potions so far; about to hit 50 on my season character.

Exactly
I think a lot of people are fans of Diablo. They complain because they want it to be better. They continue to support because they hope it will be better, and also because there has continued to be steady improvement, even if not always in the areas they wished it was.
@ujaku_ I get that, and I would agree to a degree. If they weren't negative on EVERYTHING that Diablo comes out with.
@@is300nextgen oh yes of course with this game in particular I think there is a very dedicated horde of morons that take time out of their day to comment hate on all D4 content. I do wish runes would appear in my lost items chest, i left a couple on purpose to see if they would show and they didnt so ive probably missed a few through out my play. I will say not have a jeweler in the Den was weird unless im missing something
Slay rhykker the content has been on point 🙏🙏🙏
personally i didnt have an issue with any grind here, i didnt have enough angelbreaths to upgrade my potion during the campain... so i went to helltide for 5mins then upgraded it. if the game gave me all the mats no matter what im doing then they may as well remove the upgrade mechanic entirely and just have a scaling potion.
the seasonal rep is crap rewards massive grind. yes we can just say hey its crap i wont do it... but not doing seasonal mechanics because there not rewarding is not a fix. it just removes the reason to join in seasons if there is nothing in it to interest me or reward me. instead of skip it. lets fix it. common D3 seasons were trash lets up our game for D4 i want to come back every season and have fun. the game is great the mechanics are good. but they will get boring, the season is suppose to change to keep us entertained. please sort this out guys...

I just started this game for the first time on the 8th and I have thousands of leather and iron just from leveling. When I do those gold circle events on the map and as a reward I get a ton of crafting mats. Also sometimes I kill a random monster in the wilderness and it drops “1000 amethyst” things like that.
When you think that the guys who recognized that diablo 3 tarnished the diablo name also gave the greenlight to diablo immortal...
This was my first thought too. Sounds like some extremely out of touch board room member struggling to shift blame.
Is it just me, or does Subo almost never highlight materials? We he finally does, it's just a flash that goes away...
I don't have that issue with Subo on my console.

Rhykker started with D4 good, then listed everything that is bad. That's one high copium my man.
@@Insanati Calling the list of bad things a "minor nitpicks" is what a copium addict would say.
@@EnzoVinZ Says the person trolling for Diablo related videos just to make comments about how much they think the game is bad in an effort to validate their own opinion. Good luck with that.
@@Insanati Projecting much?
@@EnzoVinZ I think you may need to look up "projecting." This is a D4 news channel, it basically only covers D4 and a smattering of other topics. I play D4, so I watch all the videos and read some of the comments hoping to find productive ones. Why are you here again?
Evade build is funny AF. It's getting nerfed for sure, but I'll have fun till then. We need a wardrobe, cause switching between evade (speed farming) and quills (pushing) is brutal.
i stopped, got all gear but what am i grinding para levels for with no leaderboard?
Exactly, expansion is already boring
Not worth $40, maybe $20. I feel ripped off.
P.S.
Apologies for not watching the whole video, but I'm currently reading Play Nice and don't want spolers.
My friends and i used to play. They fired all their tallent. It shows. Rhykker i think you could make a better game if put in the hot seat :)
Please go outside and talk to a woman
