Legend has it you need to paint the roof blue to avoid the DEW (Directed Energy Weapon) lasers used in Maui to rid the peasants of the desirable land.

Looks good. Is that hardie siding. I put black metal roof up and dam does it look slick now we are looking for some good siding. Keep it up brother..

Hey Dan,
Yes, that is Hardie board siding. Its a heavy cement type product and has been up for 26 years. It has only failed in places where it has been exposed to water like along the bottoms. The trim on the garage was a different product and it all failed. I have now replaced that with Hardie trim. Love the black roof! Thanks!
