@@ZishuoWang Did this get sent? I would like to see it too
You can find the spreadsheet on the website. Though current greenworks offerings aren't tested. Curious how the higher psi things do, seems incredible for a standard electric washer.
Releasing the air part made me laugh so hard 😂
Matt to play the new Joker! 😂
You should ask a German guy . I am pretty sure there is a DIN-Norm (German Institute for norms) which exactly regulates the procedure of letting the air out of pressure washers , as there is literally a norm for f****** everything 😂😂😂😂
"how about now?"
I love the sarcasm
"Happy trees" 😂😂😂 these pressure washer tests get better and better lol
I appreciate the way you handle the complainers, you actually say what I just think!
Just picked up the small 1700 psi from Lowe’s (second from left), as I wanted something compact. Overall very impressed, and I’m a tool and gadget guy. No issues with the hoses, although I did wish the hose to the gun was a little easier to maneuver. 9/10.
Love the sarcasm 😂
Matt... i freaking love how savage af you are with letting the air out! This is why i freaking love you and buying stuff from you! Just straight forward!
"Cut that out...and by cut it out I mean leave it in." Ha. This series just keeps getting better!
Matt thank you for testing the flow with a different nozzle size and confirming my suspicion that it does change even if just a minute amount. 👍
Got the popcorn out I’m ready!
Haha
Have had my greenworks 2k psi for three years with the quick connects and it still running strong, recently did the 1.1mm upgrade on my foam cannon and boy does it make beautiful foam now. Like shaving cream.
@Jake Merkel I ordered two of the m22-14 swivel and 3/8"plug and Male adapters for the wand and hose. I also ordered a 3/8 quick disconnect kit for pressure washers for the garden hose connection.
'Happy little trees', everyones happy place. Don't change Matt!
An excellant and detailed video , just what I was looking for ! Subbed!
Thanks for your demo I needed it
I love this series
Going on almost 2 years with mine. Still holding strong. And throw it in the garage were it freezes in the winter. And not a single problem
This wouldn’t be the same without the humor😆
The sarcasm is strong
I put a ball-valve on the end of my hose to bleed the air before attaching it. Really helps since I need to use a 100ft hose.
The releasing of the air part is so funny ! And the burning plastic is real ! The foam looks pretty good I’m surprised 😮
To be honest Matt, I was nervous too when you did the post orifice size measurement after shooting my mouth off on the last vid 😂 it’s good to see the real world results. Keep it up mate.
Yeah I’m loving this PW project. I also think many people watching will eventually buy a Kranzle
Personally, I would love to buy a Kranzle, but I just can't justify that level of spend. If they had something in the $400-$600 range, I'd jump on it.
Had me at happy trees. Lol keep doing wat your doing not everybody does reviews like this on pressure washers. 👍👍
at 13:20 dude in the background was not happy that you wanted to add a step !!!
I love this guy....
I have the First Ryobi set up. Well that pump with way way cheaper set up. New 50ft hose with mounted reel cheaper gun. Would love to have the OG gun and hose though. Some day. Like he said though I was impressed with it. Maybe even some day have a whole OG set up with Kranzle. Love this series. Wish was around when I looking.
releasing the air part, wtf...lol, was laughing so bad. great series man, can wait for SJ. great stuff Matt.
Matt! i just bought a hose/quick disconnects/etc.. i'm in Toronto Canada area, getting it shipped to Michigan, already getting screwed on the conversion. Working on building my set-up but i will be going with a full set up like yours but i will be going with a cheap pressure washer. i've pretty much sourced it all and it's winter for me right now but excited to get it set up lol
i'll probably pick up the pressure washer based on these videos by the summer time. Will have everything else before hand xD
Thanks for the video Matt! The jokes at the 7 min mark where hilarious
Ha, ha....
Loving these tests 👍🏻👍🏻
Didn't anybody notice the motor higher pitch sound with the larger bigger hole nozzles? When the gun has no nozzle tip it sounds even louder or faster. Maybe that is the reason the lower pressure bigger nozzle makes the motor run faster.
One of those things that sort of does not make sense since lower pressure should relax the motor, but it doesn't, once we pay attention to it. Or a sound effect based on simple water flow and the motor works the same with either nozzle.
What makes sense is lower pressure, lower current draw. At least I got that one right. 😁
The five people who disliked the video are the ones who complained about air in the hose and wasting water
1M?!? Nice find! That's the one BMW I'd really, really like to own.
Thanks for making this, you should develop your own line of electric power washers.
Found your channel from Larry’s channel. Really enjoying your content got my sub!
Thanks Rob!
Everybody check your local Lowe’s. Most of them have clearance on green works pressure washers right now. Some are $150 off. Great deal going on.
He went all Bob Ross on us 😂
Happy trees...who knew that "greenworks" would get you to channel your inner Bob Ross...lol. Watching this batch of tests with particular interest, since my 2000 psi unit is on the cart in that line up you have there. I've not done anything to it (yet) but have been happy with what it does as an interim unit before I build my full-on shop with much better stuff in it.
The 2,000 is the best one. I'll tackle that in Part 2 of this. SunJoes start tomorrow.
As soon as you said you cut those annoying warning labels off was when I found out I am obsessed as well.
Thank you
That front left wheel will be spotless by the end of this 😂
I have the GPW2300. Issue with the wand and GWorks said they have no parts avail for it with no eta... otherwise love the thing. Def need some more quick connects. Hate having to un corkscrew the hose...lol Great vid!
I like this guy! Subbed! 😃👍
Painting some happy trees hahahhahahah
I'm wondering if you open one if it would have a ryobi label in there somewhere.
Are you also going to test out the Portland? Which is the harbor freight special that is normally $80
Whenever you roast someone who posted something ridiculous, I get a kick out of it. Keep doing what you’re doing Matt. Still waiting for one to kick the bucket.
Great series on various mfg. of pressure washers - by chance - will you provide a spreadsheet with your statistics from each company and for each product within their lineup - that would be deeply appreciated - thanks!!!
HAHA DoNt WAsTe ThE WAteR... Lol "Okay bro"
I suggest Deionizing Systems Project. There is a LOT of controversy regarding CR spotless being too expensive/gallon compared to other systems that do the same job and produce a lot more gallons for less cost and don’t use cartridges. They just lack the proper marketing I guess compare to CRS. PLEASE solve the mystery! This field is not researched well by car enthusiasts and its not clear which route to take for potential buyers like myself. Check “On The Go” systems for example and their 2 cylinders with 2 different resins method! It gives approx 100 car rinses with average of 5gal/wash at 250ppm. Down side is a max of 2GPM. Some guys @ Autopia claimed that it lasted with them for 2 full years of continuous use without refill! Imagine. Any thoughts?
I'm on it. I will have some stuff coming out soon.
Thank you! You are truly awesome in filling so many gaps in this industry. Your effort is much appreciated and valued 👍🏻
Oh I forgot to mention that I placed an order with you for approx $300 lately for materials that I will need in the near future. We love to support your channel and your business as well for all the priceless info that you provide to the detailing community :)
This is a great idea. CR/Simple Chuck are nothing special from what I can tell, and I've seen many guys make their own DI systems for a fraction of the cost.
I've seen some people too that are saying they've used large multi-step aquarium filter systems to get similar results, but haven't heard anything about the gpm on those, only the rated gallons/day.
Do u have a good option for a new pressure washer hose. I have the green works 1600 and the hose is too short only 25 feet and I always gotta move the damn machine around the car to get it all done
Grey McGown same here, and I'm looking for an upgraded spray gun to go with it
1m for the win
matt + cheap PW = comedy gold
Sorry if I’m late on the videos. Is there any significant quality difference between greenworks and Sun joe for a similar model number.
I like Greenworks better.
What is it that's making the foam so runny?
Are you using a different dilution ratio in the foam cannon in this video vs with the Ryobi's? The Ryobi's seemed to produce thicker foam...
Foam is the same. The soap was just sitting in the foam cannon for a week.
Mashed Pwntato glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that.
Obsessed Garage I noticed the levels looked the same as the were at the end of the Ryobi video and at the beginning you said it was 7 or so days later. By chance did you test with new product to ensure that?
Ha - way to channel Bob Ross!
people get so pissed off by your comments but i love it man i think you do much better than so called comedian haha
Does soap go through the pump on these units. Specifically 1700 model? Thanks!
You can do soap injection, but that doesn't work very well. You have to bring the pressure way down using the soap specific nozzle. I would suggest using an MTM foam cannon instead.
So this may have been answered already, but if the foam cannon doesn't fit on these stock guns, what's the solution to get it to fit?
Replace the gun with an MTM or Mosmatic.
These are actually better than the cRyobi ones. Better warranty too.
I have the electric 2000psi version and it is a beast. Works very well.
Got it on sale for 156.00 plus 10% military discount on top of that.
Lowe's gives military discounts everyday of the year.
Home Depot only gives military discounts on military holidays, so I personally boycott Home Depot and their products and brands associated with them.
Hey Matt, your gonna wear the paint off that fender by the time this series is over, you might want switch sides from time to time , 😂
"Only gotta run it a few seconds, and turn it off, your wasting water" ---- "OK bro" haha. Don't forget your making videos for experts in everything, who are perfect people in all ways and have never made a mistake.
all this makes me worry about the gas power washer I use. It makes me think even though I use the white tip I might be running to much pressure. I have 3500 rated gas power washer and use the gun and white 4.0 tip I bought from you. Any thoughts?
If you are careful and don't ever get too close you won't damage anything. You are likely getting around 2000 PSI, but if you slip up, you could cut right through the paint.
I recently just bought a greenworks electric power washer. This is the First time using a powerwasher. I understand the starting process of letting the air out. What im confused in the process when your done using the unit. What is the correct process when putting the unit away. What i see people doing is they turn off the machine, relieve the pressure of the hose. They remove all hoses from the machine and let the machine run until the water comes out. Once it stops turn off the machine off Immediately. My question is arent you damaging the pump since their isnt a flow a water going through the pump for the time it takes you to turn it off? Btw great content. Thank you and keep up the great work!
From what I understand you never want to run it dry, but I've been doing that same procedure you explained for years and haven't had a problem to date.
dibs on the used 2200, jk... which nozzle to remove 10% bodyfat? lol. starting my diet on new years. I kinda know what you're doing but do you have a link to your juice/fasting?
www.standardprocess.com/Standard-Process/Purification-Program
This guy looks like he is one of those extremely rare awsome bosses to work for.
I'd like to think so.
What orifice nozzle do you recomendme im planing to buy the mosmatic og spray er and wand for my greenworks 1800 psi 1.1 GPM ?
2.5
Thank you ill make my order night now 🏃🏻♀️
You guys do not have 2.5 in your website only 2 3 and 3.5 which one of 2 and 3 i should i pick?? Please
LMAO I can't believe you was wasting water like that. All a had to think was really someone said that.😊
It's SCIENCE! That is NEVER a waste...
Love the obsessiveness.
For the Ryobi, didn't you suggest a 3.0 nozzle, but then with these you are suggesting a 2.5? What changed your mind?
Each pump is different.
do the greenworks use standard m22 x 14mm hoses and connector?
Yes, standard on those.
@@ObsessedGarage excellent, thank you sir
Is the 25 degree nozzle with the 1700 psi pressure washer car paint safe??
That's too much pressure for my preference.
@@ObsessedGarage sticking with 40 is the safest then ? Thanks for the quick reply
Do u have a video on a 2200 psi power horse electric power washer from northern hydraulic s
I want to hear on run and proform
How do you guys keep finding these things. I tested 90 of them. Isn't that enough. I'm sure that one is junk like the rest of them.
Don’t know where your from BUT you have the attitude of a stone cold Brooklyn New York dude... fucking LOVE IT!!!!
Boom!
Can you find a good garden hose nozzle
The Eley is legit.
What’s stopping you from finding it?
Buy a 1M! You’ll own all of my dream cars then.... :(
is it just me or matt looks buff lol.
Both Ryobi and Greenworks have all thier models certified by the Pressure Washer Manufacture's Association (P.W.M.A.). Sun Joe does not have this certification. They have a Standard for Testing and Rating Performance of Pressure Washers: Determination of Pressure and Water Flow. PW-101 is the industry standard that provides a uniform method for testing and rating the primary performance characteristics of pressure washers that produce high pressure water. For certification manufactures must have their pressure washers tested and verified by a third party. pwma.org
Thanks for sharing. It's been a while since I read through the standards. I had forgotten they have 10% allowance of specs.
SUNJOE FTW!!! LOL
Ha, ha... I think not.
Send me one lol nah but great testing I'm a new subscriber.
Nice!
I just picked up the 1600 from Lowes for $49.99 to try out....it works perfectly, great foam and function.....but that "vomiting water" is HIGHLY F'ing annoying
Don't damage the $89.00 pressure washer if you are going to resell it to some other sucker on Facebook. :)
Another episode of Pimp my Washer 🤙
These washers are useless if you can't connect a foam bottle.
1M what color such a bMW unicorn
"Larger orathis" 😁, such a child I know. Do I care no 😂
send these all to AVE for a teardown review. Oooor split them up to multiple channels that do teardowns.
All you will see is a plastic casing with a small aluminum(or is it a tin can) motor.
Saying cheap pressure washers are on sale is like saying Matt likes kranzle it’s always like that
Do you have a recommendation for the highest GPM electric? I have the greenworks 1700 and the volume is just too low.
Kranzle
@@ObsessedGarage Thanks but I guess I should have added reasonably priced :-)
Did he say he was selling these and then he doesn't care if they break? Lol
About the complainers. You could invent the cure for cancer and someone would complain the medicine tastes bad.
Anxiously waiting for Sunjoe SUNJOE SuNjOe! No seriously I bought one on SALE
U might as well return it now because it is a P.O.S
My SPX 3001 is a keeper
@@SWAGURA you sound like one of the negative douches Matt is picking on @ 6:53 I would rather have numbers and make my own decision which is the point of this experiment.
@@forcedinduction_drive1975 the point of this experiment is to find solutions for the lower tier pressure washers, however matt will always recommend against buying these piece of shit units and get a kranzle or a mid tier prosumer/industrial unit, ESPECIALLY if you dont want to buy a new one every other year.
@@jeff4air985 I suspect the pumps are the same on all Sunjoe residential models. It doesnt make sense from a manufacturing standpoint to have multiple differences. I didn't care about the reel wand or hose as I will be purchasing one of Matt's solutions to cure the annoyances of the brand so I went with the SPX2597.
I think a ~11 percent increase of flow on the lowest end model is definetely substantial. I am assuming this will increase on the higher PSI models.
I think it will be a consistent flow increase for all models though, and shouldnt have any bearing on your kit decisions.
But still great to know for our own curiosity.
Thanks.
The part I hate the most is that I have to hook all of the Ryobis up again to gather it. I'll probably just make Bryce and Chris do it for me.
17:30 AHAHHAHAHAh
Man just spray whoever that told u your waiting water
HAHAHAHAA! you could of ruined it!
Goddamn, sarcasm much? Lighten up.
🤣
Does this guy give any of these machines an endorsement? Pretty sure He calls every machine a piece of crap/junk...
They are all pretty poor quality. Karcher K1700 was the cream of the crap.
Ridiculing people who were just trying to help you by telling you to get the air out was a bit immature. Yeah, I saw some people telling you to do so for the safety of the machine which is true, but I agree that no one should care much about these machines, and I appreciate the roast especially of the guys who were super condescending to you about it. However, I saw a number of comments respectfully telling you primarily because when you hadn't purged the air, you got all upset when you had to wait for the machine to purge the air itself (see ua-cam.com/video/1258SWctIKo/v-deo.html ).
