    I went from the AR Blue 390SS to the 1322. There’s no comparison on sound or feel. The 1322 is extremely quiet and just feels so much better. Spend the money. It’s worth it.

    The user experience of the k1122tst is truly life changing. A couple of years ago I wall mounted a greenworks pressure washer and in roughly a year is started to self destruct. At that point I picked up the 1122 from you and it's amazing. Thanks for putting in all the hard work brother. Its greatly appreciated!

      The 1622's results intrigued me as well. I'm a mobile detailer and am using a Karcher K3 until it dies. Water conservation is important to me both because when I do not have clients' water to use, I want to make my water last and because it is simply important to me not to be wasteful with water (doesn't matter to me that I'm in WI--no one should be wasteful with water if they can help it). I use a 3000 watt inverter generator when I need to, but the lower amperage of the 1622 would also be a bit safer for clients' circuits. Haven't blown a client breaker yet, and I hope I never run into that particular embarrassment. The small size is great, but the heavy weight of the thing is a bummer especially as a mobile guy like myself who has to move equipment around a lot.

    Having a house with a shed instead of a garage I feel the Comet Static hose reel with a good hose would be enough for me. I could modify the reel a bit and make something to hold it a bit above the ground like the Kranzle baby has on it. Looking at your current wall setup, did you ever consider a 3-way valve (diverter) and a 1-way check valve to simplify the plumbing? With that setup, you'd only need to use the diverter to select which way the way would go and wouldn't have to mess with 2 additional ball valves every time you wanted to switch.

      It was more of a general thing. Also, getting a 240v outlet is usually not that expensive or complicated. Many get them in their garage these days to use with everything from car chargers to tools.
      Kranzle does offer a few single phase 220v units but those are properly expensive, so I think a 50hz version of the 10/122 and 12/130 would make sense for something in between for those having a 240v outlet.

    Nice seeing all the tests and all the work done is impressive to say the least. The Comet looks like a decent pump. Interesting that the Kranzle pressure gauge reads roughly 50% higher at the pump than the gun at the end of the hose, probably why the other cheaper pumps get away with listing sky high psi numbers at the pump that you’ll never see at the gun. No biggie for car wash duty anyway as psi isn’t the most important thing, and don’t really want too much on the paint ...

    • @SWAGURA

    I received my Comet last month. The performance is very good, as expected from the GPM. However, the quality is disappointing. When it arrived, the waterproof cover for the power switch sheered off from poor packaging (from Comet I assume) and cannot be reused. This does not impact the performance of the machine, but having the waterproof cover for the electrical switch is not a bad idea. Today, after 5 washes from the machine, while reeling the hose back, a piece of metal on the hose pierced into my finger. It went in very deep. I inspected the hose to see what exactly pierced into my finger. It turns out that the steel braiding on the hose fell apart and exposed the wires that are used to protect the hose. I never abused my hose, and I believe the damage happened at the factory. To use this unit safely without injuring myself again, I will have to spend another $150 on a Kobrajet hose. Very disappointed in this unit. You would think that the quality of Italian made products would be decent enough. Go with the Kranzle if you have the money or the Karcher if you don't have the money.

    • @ObsessedGarage
      @ObsessedGarage  5 років тому

      You aren't incorrect. There are many quirks to the Comet. That's typical Italian. The Kranzle fit, finish, and function is far superior. I'm hoping over time to work with Comet to improve their packaging and get rid of all the junk that come with them.

    Awesome Matt, was waiting to see the comet. I was expecting the Kranzle to perform as it should, but impressed with the comett. Apologies if I misunderstood, but did you said you will be selling the comet, that means at OG store or that was about this particular machine? Looks like the comet would be the better option so far to upgrade if you have all the components already without getting into the price range of the Kranzle, which would be the case with a AR "pro" type, for that it will be just better to get a Kranzle, totally agree on that. Also, on the pf22, it's the best, period. Did you tried the pf22 with the 1.1mm on the comet?, wondering why it was watery or maybe was the soap mix. Great videos man, keep them coming, 👍👌

    Hi. I watch your videos and why in the US kranzle has lower parameters?
    I have (in Europe), Kranzle 1152 equivalent to a 1122 and I have real 120-125 bar ( on the pump but I don't have an injector ) which is 1700 psi and I have a real flow rate of 10 L/min (almost, 10 kg/min ) which is 2.6 gpm; below 16 amp, only the current voltage is different because 230V.
    What are the reasons for such differences, is it just the will of the manufacturer, or something else?
    You say 1000psi is ok but i had a karcher M520 (15year old) washer 1450 psi and 1.6gpm flow and it was weak for me now i have a Kranzle and somehow the pressure isn't great either, it makes up for it with great flow. Its strange that 1000psi is enough for you.
    I write about the measured parameters, not from the manufacturer's documentation.

    Unfortunately for many the Kranzle will not be understood. Those who buy it will be classed as having money to burn or being biased by these people. Matt has reported many times what the benefits are and if it's in your interest I would recommend one. As an owner of a K1152tst in UK I can commend that the user experience is great and for those who enjoy washing their car it makes that more possible. I recently let a family member have a go and he was super impressed going to one blind from a Hardware store unit. Happy to let others local to me see it too. Alternatively get a 240v output, order a HD 10/122 TS or HD 12/130 TS from Europe and use a 60 to 50 hz converter. The HD 10/122 TS is similar to the 1122, but with a 2800 rpm motor, a flow of 2.5 GPM and a continuous pressure of 1750 PSI. You'll want a generator that puts out a MINIMUM 2400 running watts (many companies advertise with peak wattage; 2400 peak watts isn't good enough). Many/most 3000ish peak watt generators should provide the running wattage you'll need, but check their specs to be sure. If you want to run any other equipment on the generator at the same time as the Kranzle, then you'll need a more powerful generator--one powerful enough to meet the demands of all the equipment you plan to run simultaneously.
