    I recently received the 2300 Pro. Does anyone know which fitting would be needed to change the back of the extension wand from a threaded end to a 1/4” quick connect to allow it to work as an extension for a short gun? Also, I tried using this with my 35’ hose connected to the one it comes with and got some surging and overall weird activity. I took the 25’ off and only used my 35’ and still had some issues. Is this normal? I thought at the very least the 35’ hose should work with no issues.

    I hate the noise of the greenworks; however they really are workhorses. My old one just died last week and it saw 3 years of use and abuse doing mobile detailing. I did upgrade to an AR675 in the garage, but still rock the greenworks for mobile purposes. Hopefully next time I need one it will be a Kranzle in the garage and the AR675 for mobile...

    Should know that on the green works (specifically the 2300 one) each nozzle that comes with it has a different orifice size. The smaller the angle the smaller the hole. So if you grabbed a 40 degree one the pressure is way lower due to the larger orifice size. If you retry with the most narrow angle one (or your own smaller orifice nozzle tip) you should get much closer to the 2300 advertised psi.

    • @ObsessedGarage
      @ObsessedGarage  Рік тому

      I don't recall on that specific pressure washer, but almost all of them require the same orifice size no matter what the spray pattern chosen. I would wager the 2300 is not different.

    Just a suggestion no clue if it would work, but when testing the pressure washers that need a ramp up. Would it not be possible to start the timer and let the machine ramp up then stop it say after 5 seconds. Weigh the bucket to find how much water was produced, so when your doing the final test to check the overall flow you deduct the amount that was collected during the ramp up from the total that was collected? Might have to run the stopwatch for a min and 5 seconds during the overall flow test. Again no clue if it would work just a suggestion.

    So as a mobile detailer, I find that the second to last one you tested in this video is best for me. I take the entire metal frame off, the soap container, and just have a small very durable unit. I fit it, as well as all my other detailing equipment, in a Chevy SS sedan. I get about 1-1.5 years out of each unit, about 350 cars a year. They are workhorses, and allow me to keep the use off of better quality machines

    From watching reviews on different channels, it appears manufacturers get there ratings from there 15° tips. (probably with a very small orifice)
    For example the 2300 greenworks hits it's 2300psi at 1.2gpm on the 15° tip and the 25° and 40° both drop the pressure significantly to increase GPM for different applications. IMO this is very beneficial that each tip has a different orifice size because most people buying a cheap pressure washer don't have a bunch of different tips already. I'm surprised he has never noticed this after testing so many pumps.

    • @ObsessedGarage
      @ObsessedGarage  2 роки тому

      That is incorrect. They are publishing specs of 2300 psi at something like .5 GPM flow which is nonsense. The degree spray pattern doesn't effect measurable pump pressure output. It only affects spot pressure.
