- After having fought and Killed Genbu, the moved on to confront Tetsumaru. She watched in horror as he plunged his own sword into his chest hoping to atone for his sins. Ayame is distraught and gives Rikimaru the clan's sword as he leaves... Understanding her unspoken wish to die. After the ship explodes from gunpowder ignited by flaming arrows. She drifts at sea, preparing herself to die as she remembers her late loved ones. Suddenly she finds the bell Princess kiku gave her. Suddenly she remembered her promise to the young princess and understands that she has a reason to live and must do so for the sake of someone who's in the same situation. She then vows to become tougher.

It's a very powerful series indeed, I cried alot during the game as well.
@Somebodylost After suffering from depression and anxiety, Mary Kay Bergman killed herself with a shotgun.She was probably more well known for doing many of the female voices in Southpark. It's a shame that she's gone. She did a wide range of character through out here career. She was the voice of Lady Kagami. For some reason IMDB has it misspelled as Kargami.
I love that sound of the bell.Ayame seems like a mother to Kiku.
This game is so awesome. One of the best playstation games in my opinion. Storyline is awesome too...

I'm brasilian guy and I remember very well when my older brother bought that game.Long time ago. I used play with Ayame and he with Tatsu'. Was so nice because we talked about our adventures and discuss and trying ' understand the history . Actually I learnt a lot english playing games like this.Now I played again and as I studied english we can understand better what happend in the history, so nice =D

the disadventage of this game is it doesn't have subtittle ( i'm from vietnam where english is not popular ) and i love the song of the Tenchu first version, the soundtrack is nice. I also like the intro of tenchu 2, the endding but if it has soundtrack mission, subttile it will be the best version.

@A09550 I used to have a copy of the script of the game, but lost it. There used to also be a website that gave you subtitle downloads for such games and movies. But there is no longer a Tenchu 2 copy of such subtitles. If I ever come across them I'll have them posted up.
I agree. On some missions, you could run straight at an enemy and they would not notice. I still say it's the best in the series though.
good ear, and yes it's the same actress. There are a few more actors in there as well, unfortunately one committed suicide after working on the game.

it didn't have a Japanese language option. Besides, some of the acting is enjoyable for either it's bad acting or some of the good acting. Rikimaru's actor is pretty good in this game.
yes, a great deal of the cast for MGS games worked on the Tenchu games.

@vguyver2 Yeah. Japanese audio is hilarious, especially in Tenchu Z, when you get spotted by one of the monk-like hand to hand guards who are always laughing like they've lost their minds. Every now and then, they say "NINJAAAAAAA~!" in a really loud voice...it's odd, but funny.

+Pamela Ocampo It's an altered version of the intro song. They simply removed the majority of the lyrics. Unfortunately, not on the soundtrack.
It's an extended version of the intro theme "Hyouteki (Abin Bara)" I have the OST, but the OST lacks this version, which has a long soft instrumental part. I was a little ticked off when I realized this version and couple of others were missing.
man i cant find any copyies of tenchu z or wrath of heaven. or any other tenchu games for that matter. i sure miss playing them

Interesting thats Debi Mae West. She doesn't sound like Tsunade. But she does sound like Meryl (from the original game, not Twin Snakes).

There is a HUGE difference between tthe graphic in cutscenes between tenchu 1 and 2
well, the game did have it's flaws, dumb AI, some dumb designs and bosses. Glitches with the attacks, and graphics could of been a tad better. But overall, this is the best Tenchu game yet, and will always be a classic in my book, everyone else who says otherwise I coudl care less for.

don't know how to point out the differences between the German and American versions of the game. I haven't lived in Europe in years, so I haven't played that version of the game. They should be identical though.
it is nicer than the old version but it doesn't have soundtrack and the story i think not good
maybe i had played Tenchu 1 many times so i like it than Tenchu 2. :). Now when I'm older I think about the past and it had Tenchu 1. Tenchu 2 isn't have place because I dont' play enough times with it.
