@@MrNobody55555 1, the Joker is a fictional character. 2, your comment implies that EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this comment section is an American. Which I'm pretty sure isn't the case here. So, who's the ignorant one again?
it's simple really at first dc tried to repeat the success of the dark knight trilogy by making pretty much every other dc movie dark and gritty but after batman v superman they realized that they needed to be more like marvel and have a sense of variety
It took me forever to figure out how genius this plan was. He eliminated the rest of the crew, meaning he wouldn't have to worry about getting snitched on. He took care of the head guy, meaning he would be useless to the mob. He definitely made the mob aware of his presence. Blended in so perfectly that the cops would never even question him. And because he was basically unknown (at this point in the movie) Batman basically let's him get away with it by saying he is more interested in the mob. Jokers first move was big and he basically got away with it to fund the rest of his plans. And biggest of all: this is what started the mob to be desperate to need his help. He created a problem that he already had a solution to.
By having the bus come in, he was also able to actually get all the money out even without the extra manpower, since people often forget that large quantities of money are very heavy. He still could have waited to kill a couple of them, since it looked like they left a lot of money behind
Except if: the Zipline failed, Anyone knew something was off when the joker told them to kill another guy, if anyone snitched, if there was more security, if there was a cop in the bank, if literally anyone walked into the bank, if the bus was late, if guy couldn't get into the vault in time, if there was another gate behind the vault and the safecracker was dead, if the dude just shot the joker instead of talking, and probably like 50 more things.
The Dark Knight the best superhero movie ever made, it will be a classic forever i'm just happy i had the opportunity to watch this.. what a time to be alive
@@MaxMatters The roll didn't kill him, thats a myth. His pill popping and meds had nothing to do with the roll and was going on long before he was even casted.
that makes no sense nobody noticed a school bus crashing into a bank. that scene is not realistic. What about that scene when the joker wants to make a phone call and blows up the police station? Everything always goes exactly like the joker plannedd which is also not realistic. The new joker is also a comic book movie but, in my opnion, its pretty realistic and good. Dark Night is probably the most overrated movie in history, full of plotholes and scenes for children.
@ItchyPilauBoto808 They never knew what the Joker actually looks like even though they know this Joker guy has makeup on his face, they probably think this dude wears make up to cover his face.

This scene is brilliantly written because it highlights who the Joker is. Hes a military strategist, The Clown Prince of Crime. He planned this all out probably on a whim and it brought the Batman to him. Its a joke. He has enough cash to burn.
Ex- special forces, at the least. And possibly Vietnam vet. This movie was made in 08' but takes place in the 90s because that's when was Mobs were most prevalent. Ill assume the joker in this film is around 40-45 years old. Old enough to have fought in Vietnam ‼️
@@Soufbuns1103 It doesn't take place in the 90's since the frigging lamborghini that Bruce Wayne drives around in this film was introduced in the mid 2000's. So unless Bruce Wayne has a time machine there is no way that this story takes place in the 90's.
Starting at 4:15, your first thought may be that Joker is walking towards the bank guy just to antagonize him, but you probably didn't notice that Joker stole his shotgun. Then, when Joker crashes the dinner party later in the film, he's wielding the shotgun he stole from the bank. Really cool attention to detail.
He also uses said shotgun during the Batpod sequence when he shoots the armored vehicle that Harvey is in. I noticed he basically used that shotgun throughout the film.
Can we just appreciate William Fichtner as the bank manager with the shotgun? He's on screen for less than 2 minutes and somehow manages to make his character one of the most memorable in the entire film.
"I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you ... Stranger." Joaquin Phoenix's Joker: *Gets hit by ambulance* *Doesn't kill him* *Makes a smiley face with his own blood*
People love the unmasking of the Joker but we gotta appreciate that shot of him just standing on the corner, waiting, ready. The calm before the storm.
I just noticed the car stopped after him. Joker puts on his mask quickly so there's no guarantee that the driver or passenger saw his actual face. Brilliant
@@Bossman525 he was unknown as a criminal before the bank heist, even Batman thought he was a nobody who got lucky, so chances are any civilians who see him just think he’s a crazy homeless

Tayyab Khan If we’re talking only in the film, he used it to negotiate with the Chechen later in the movie. But he most likely fueled some of his other criminal ventures with the money. Rocket launchers and all that shit later in the movie.
@@TayyabKhan-hh6kx He used the money to hire men for his gang to carry out his crimes. Before he had to remain mysterious and fraud others with fake promises but with the money he can do whatever he wants, hire whoever he wants, and buy whoever he wants. When I first saw this opening part I just thought that this was about the Joker's thugs and a crime. But then as it kept going I slowly realised this is one of the best introduction of a character in film history. This is one of the moments that shows why the Joker is so dangerous: He's crazy and very very intelligent.
"Thats it, three guys?" "Two guys on the roof, Every guy get shares, five shares is plenty!" "Six shares, don't forget the guy who planned the job" So basically The Joker didn't talk about The Bus Driver earlier, so everyone didn't know about the Bus Driver, and basically its still a six shares
@@cyberserf419 I'd suggest you do some research on how CGI actually works in movies. If it is used right you can't tell the difference. Don't think CGI is only used to create big monsters or crazy earthquakes and tsunamis.
It’s insane how joker was able to manipulate his entire crew knowing they would all end up turning on each other and getting distracted by greed in order to get what he wanted
