That cartwheel I just made me think of a cartwheel. *well duh Masked One* no! a cartwheel.. the sideways handspring kids (typically girls will do), that mimics the rotation of a carts wheel. The handspring cartwheel has quite possibly been with us from Europe all the way to eastern Asia since 4th MILLENNIUM BCE a whopping 6000 years ago!
You could use that feature thing from the lamp posts to create sewer/ drainage grates too if you placed them just right and had a raised road (flat roof) between buildings like a street
The builds should save automatically! So if you left the game and came back, it should still be there. Same for starting a new glade. - On a related note: Don't be afraid of the "3 Glade Limit" in the demo. If you start a fourth glade, the first one you made becomes *locked* but not deleted. It'll still be there at release. It's just 3 Glades that you can have "active" concurrently.
Definitely! I wager it would also be the more succesful format. Not the type of content I personally want to produce, unfortunately. I like long-form "repositories" where I have everything in one place. I also still try really hard to pretend that UA-cam Shorts just don't exist kek I just want these things to be out there so that I can rest easy and say that I've done my part in sharing what I know :D

I still use the same ol' "small circle of freehand wall" chimney that I threw into the 40+ Video but there've been alternative designs on the Discord. A lot of people are quite happy with just a small stack maybe 2 or 3 bricks wide. Then there was another that went square and wide, like there's a big ol' fireplace at the bottom of it. Those were kinda nice. Don't know if and when another video is coming - everybody else currently has me beat 6 ideas to 1 - but I could throw those in there for everybody's consideration.
I wish I had more time. I have Been waiting for this game for years and now that the demo is out I could only build for around 2-3 hours. I didn’t even think of clipping them. Those arcs look sick af. And when you deleted blocks it also looked sick. And I keep hearing buttrizzes
@@freakout3516I have a suggestion for the fences. Instead of drawing one column just draw the wall. Yes it will arc but you can create another wall slightly off and draw over that again. Repeat and you have a wall again and is easier to draw Also with lanterns you could make the lantern clip into a building and have the stick go out of the building and create like a half wooden arch. If the building wall itself is a balcony you could make a wooden wall/fence/ arcs. Imma try these all out in my lecture tomorrow because we only get reviewed on a past project and I gotta sit there for 5h listening to the profs mumbling reviewing everyone’s stuff. Gotta lower the quality quite a bit so my laptop doesn’t explode xD. Kids I don’t condone my behaviour. Don’t distract yourself in class

Towns, yes - arguably. Interiors... iffy. As far as towns are concerned: If you build at a slightly smaller scale, you *can* fit some convincing little townscapes into the demo circle. At the scale at which I've built the church at the start, the larger play area should also suffice. Interiors have been discussed before and there *is* a demand for them. However, the devs have stated that the already difficult task of making interiors happen, is only made more difficult by people like me who fold upwards of 30 building blocks inside one another to build the exteriors lol So if we ever get them, interiors would be - in my estimation - a post-post-release update
@freakout3516 The way they should do interiors, in my opinion, is that they forfeit the original structure and basically you start from zero in a basic, default room for you to create and choose from several preset layouts. That wouldn't give you the freedom the exterior gives but perhaps you could change room size and height, etc.

They may. Remember, you'd pass only a demo and they'd still features that are locked. So who knows what else we'll get in the full game

fr fr - tbh the hills mogged me a bit during construction. Fingers crossed the demo stays up long enough for you to log a few more hours in it!
