Absolutely! I want like a billion little items to place around the world, all the stuff that makes a world feel alive. Builds can feel a little empty sometimes. Like I made a nice little courtyard with a pond, but then had nothing to put in it. By no means am I complaining though, It's a fantastic game already, especially considering it's like a two person dev team that worked on this. They did say they read as much feedback as they can and plan on implementing a lot of ideas, so I'm excited to see what they end up adding.
My favorite thing I learned was that to create actual hills you raise the landscape and drag the mouse horizontally which will round out the landscape making a hill
Changing the size of a building before you place it also changes the default size of that building type, which is very helpful when you need a bunch of pieces to perfectly match. Also, it’s not super useful most of the time, but you can pass through walls if you ever need to select something that is entirely hidden inside something else. I’m just hoping the add copy-paste at some point and the ability to select multiple objects to reposition together. Grouping would also be amazing, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves!
Something you may not have discovered by the look of this video: if you're trying to combine 3 windows to create a big window, and you accidently make one too far away, as you did, you don't have to delete it and place another one. You can just drag it close to the others and they will combine to make the bigger window.
Oh wow it's the Burrow! Nicely done, I found it very recognizable 👍 Also, thanks for the tips, I was really struggeling to figure out a way to get rid of those merlons. Appreciate it!
You can turn them off with the paint 🎨 They added that a few weeks ago. You can still use the same trick to get rid of supports if you want a floating platform.
If you hold control while you place a building, and place another building while still holding control, it will be the same size. Closest thing we have in the meantime.
Haven't seen it mentioned in the comments: you can also put doors together to make them bigger as you can windows. Second stage is a bigger door, third is a double door. You can also make corner windows (and put more together), but not doors. Still I learnt a bunch more than I knew coming in, great video!
Thank you so very much for your help. I couldn't figure out where other people were getting all the control options from. And all the little tricks will be such a time saver.
So many great tips! Thank you for sharing!! 💙I played for the first time yesterday and discovered if you use the flower tool on water, it makes water lilies!
Been wondering all day how people got those railings, they're perfect for the little steampunk town I've been trying to build, all of this is so helpful!! I love the trial and error but there is a bit of a learning curve to this game to make things exactly how you want them it feels like 😅
Doing good MTM you’re def getting there. Nice to see you enjoying something again. Don’t forget to show them how to copy and paste so they don’t have to keep re-drawing structures 😉
You don't need to superimpose buildings to hide the merlons, you can just use the color tool and hide them, just like the wood accents. Also, putting a chimney next to a window will transform it into a small iron chimney! Nice video thx!
In the nineties we had Metacreation Bryce 3D...this looks equally cool, with its real-time render. For a long-time Bryce user this is amazing, love how easily you can build complicated stuff...this is how Bryce should have developed during the years. Thanks for the demo!
FF6000 is a nice memorable hex, when I was choosing a color for my brand I picked a color I liked and THEN looked at its hex, which is how I ended up with BB2188 and have to check my CSS every time I need to remember what it is 😂
My literal dream is to create a vilage, so im kinda sad the world size is so small. I make towns and villages and castles with courtyards in minecraft everytime i play. I want to connect houses through paths and place signs that tell you where you're going. I am definitely excited and hoping they expand this game alot more. Its like painting..but magical painting.
@MoveTheMouse Just kidding! I built an entire medieval village with like 8 houses and a lake, watch posts and paths etc. An entire cathedral too. The space is actually DECEPTIVELY bigger than it looks 🤣
I don't think you remember me but I used to be called choosentax you named a tax office on one of your cities after me 😂 It's good to see you've grown and still making content
I observed a tiny bug lol, the ducks need collison detectection so that they can't swim trough each others, lol. This is why it would be hard to populate the game with NPC:s...they would need an A.I. engine, surface detection and tons of other stuff...but it would cool, of course. :-)
I want people and workers and farmers and black smiths, markets, imagine building the facilities and the A.I. people working on them, I wanted to build a farm with wheat fields and have the A.I. people tend the wheat and harvest it for production and selling them at the stalls in the town centre, that would be so f* in cool!
I desperately want like some clutter packs or other placeable objects. I love this game though and picked up a few tricks here! thanks.

I can just imagine this game being used for DnD content. The creation of entire environments to help display the stories better.
I'm sure someone is already exporting builds to 3D print.
Also I enjoy the animal AI, it won't let you pet the fish in a pond just like in real life, don't ask me how I know.
Hehe, they do interact with the cursor though! They swim away from it when you hover over or near the fish which I think is such a cute detail 😊
I am currently building maps for a oneshot with it 😁
I've already used it to make a small town for DND.
Tiny Glade is a true gem. We are so lucky to have such a great cozy game this fall. Stellar job Ana & Tom!!
Something I could see being really cool is being able to also decorate and design the inside.
Yes please to interiors.
I said this on another video too.
My favorite thing I learned was that to create actual hills you raise the landscape and drag the mouse horizontally which will round out the landscape making a hill

I love how the footpaths through flowers makes a border of tiny stones around the flower beds.
11:33 ‘Hopefully some day’… Today IS that day 😂
This game looks and feels so cozy!!
😂
You can also change the colour of the light in the windows! (As well as the window frame colour itself)

Yes, and you can do that with doors too and you got bigger doors.
I'm guessing the build at the end is the Weasley house. :)

This game is so awesome! We need a copy/paste and grouping mechanism asap tho.
If you hold control while you place a building, and place another building while still holding control, it will be the same size. Closest thing we have in the meantime.
Learned so many new tricks. Glad I clicked on this one..
Omg the burrow?! Thanks for the tips I’ve really been enjoying this game.

you can also put flowers in the ponds :)
How how
Theres a second chimney type if its too close to another chimney or flag, its super cute thanks for the tips!
Thank you so very much for your help. I couldn't figure out where other people were getting all the control options from. And all the little tricks will be such a time saver.
Just FYI you can cut the walls anywhere, and the dots allow you to adjust the wall to straighten it or manipulate its path ❤
So many great tips! Thank you for sharing!! 💙I played for the first time yesterday and discovered if you use the flower tool on water, it makes water lilies!
You can attach buildings directly to the side of another building to make balconies
Woah! Thanks! Especially with the windows turning into doors- that’ll be extremely useful.

Can you tell me how to copy/paste ? Because I can't find how
So handy!! I just got this game and am struggling a little with it and this has just opened my tiny glade world! Thank you 😊
Man, thank you so much. Really interested with that game but I'm having a hard time figuring out all the mechanics, really helpfull. Thanks a lot ❤❤
Weasley Borrow!
Thank you! I already played a fair lot of the game and knew most things, but still some tips were new. I will definitely use them in future builds!
A game that is as much enoyable while watching than playing.
Great content!
Thank you for this video. I've just started playing Tiny Glade and these tips and tricks are very helpful. ^^
You don't need to superimpose buildings to hide the merlons, you can just use the color tool and hide them, just like the wood accents. Also, putting a chimney next to a window will transform it into a small iron chimney! Nice video thx!
That tool didn't exist at release when this was recorded.
You can use the same trick to hide pillars.

Thanks for the demo!
Oh I completely forgot about Bryce! Think I have it on a disc somewhere still... Loved that program to bits.
awesome guide! helped me a lot! thanx! love from Sweden
This was helpful video. Thank you!
You can resize the eraser (make it smaller or bigger) to be able to delete things like paths with more precision
Thank you!! Super helpful 🎉
Great tips, thanks!

Very helpful, thanks 🙂
Cool tips..thank you.
If you click the box on the top middle of a flag it changes the design!

Big Glade.

Two thumbs up mate
If you left click on doors you can change the items that spawn around them.
I'm glad to see dude now I k ow your active again binge some videos
tbh this game so chill
Ohhhhh what if they let us do custom colors off of hex codes
I would cry in joy
@@zuyadragon yes please
17:40 you can clip your view into the building and grab it from there
You can also change the color that the lights emit in the dark!
I don't think you remember me but I used to be called choosentax you named a tax office on one of your cities after me 😂 It's good to see you've grown and still making content
Of course I remember. Still having fun with it!
Weasley homestead!
5:01 you can also get rid of the railing in the customization
That wasn't possible when this video was posted. We had to double stack foundations, so glad they added that.
@@MoveTheMouse didn’t realize, just bought the game
Is the thing you're building the prancing pony from Lord of the Rings? Thanks for all these useful tips!
It's the Weasley's house from Harry Potter
And if you drag a path up a cliff it makes a climbing wall!
We need copy pasting!
Fun thing: Make a pond underneath a sheep and see what happens.
To get rid of the stone railings you just go to the color palette and click the first one on the left.
This video was made before that feature.
If you place flowers in the water, it creates lotuses!
I observed a tiny bug lol, the ducks need collison detectection so that they can't swim trough each others, lol.

Red hair, and a hand me down robe! You must be a Weasley! It's the Burrow. (edit: had the quote backwards! Fixed.)
is there an opening tutorial provided with the game by the developers?
Does it actually save what you have created?
It does. It has a really great undo history that persists even through turning the game on and off.
@@MoveTheMouse Ok, thanks... I'll be trying this today...
Prancing Pony? Lord of the Rings?
The Burrow aka the Weasley's house from Harry Potter.
@@MoveTheMouse Dunno how. As I've haven't watched all the HP movies.... But I thought to my self. That's the Weasley house isnt it.
@@MoveTheMouse In regards to the burrow, how are you getting those towers soo much larger than the main house? They look huge in comparison
Is there no way to put water on raised terrain without having it make a canyon?
Yesss! 👏🏻
I feel like you could have used that trick to get rid of the railings for the town square.
Ducks kinda look like chubby hot dogs
the COPY object would be good....
I want people and workers and farmers and black smiths, markets, imagine building the facilities and the A.I. people working on them, I wanted to build a farm with wheat fields and have the A.I. people tend the wheat and harvest it for production and selling them at the stalls in the town centre, that would be so f* in cool!
Me the whole time: OHHHHHHHH
Please build Hogsmeade🥹
I really like this game but I want more items and the freedom to place the in game items
Bro🥺
I cant find doors 😭
Draw paths into the wall or drag windows down to the bottom
@@noahs97 TYSMMM you're a lifesaverrr
Im dissapointed at myself, literally lost a door in the first seconds into the game
^ helpful UA-cam comment threads ^
I want to play this game!!!
