Yesterday, I was on you tube watching videos when it happened. I didn't turn the computer off and run to turn on the TV like I did on 9/11 ... didn't immediately change the channel to CBS, either. I went to Geeks and Gamers and listened to them for at least 2 hours. I trust them because they won't spin and they won't lie. I agree, WdwPro has tons more credibility than anyone on TV.

Here in the UK some of our media leaves a bit to be desired. However, looking at the US coverage is a real eye opener and is frankly disgusting. Thoughts and prayers for those that lost their lives, their families and those at the rally that are traumatised.

I started watching the "incident" on big media, and then I switched to a conservative blog, and they had way more information about what happened than big media did. They streamed an interview of a witness who said he tried to alert the Secret Service about someone on a roof with a gun. And they had a Tweet from Joe Biden with "putting Trump in a bullseye." They had a Google maps view of the location of the rally and where the shooter was, and where Trump was. Big media was busy asking spectators how they felt afterward.
This may have started a war. I know I'm furious. And these fools and their falsehoods and demonization is to blame.
We are peaceful people. But everyone has their limits.

Sadly this circumstance cannot be divorced from politics, as much as we want it to be. A man who has been deemed evil by half of the country was almost killed. Two other people who were deemed evil by half the country, were killed with another, who was deemed evil by half the country, is in critical condition. The mainstream media and all the people on that one side are barely acknowledging the loss of life or the potential chaos this act because they hate the other side. We all know that if the sides were reversed, the outrage would be heard throughout the land. The country is on a land mine right now, one that the left has planted, armed, and stood the country on top of. Whether it goes off or not is right in their hands, and I don’t think they are ready for what will happen if this land mine goes off.

The ABC headline was not "underreporting", it was changing the nature of the event, suggesting that some people at the rally did not support Trump.
The most cringe thing I saw yesterday was mundane, but it was indicative of the guy's attitude to post anything to get a rise out of people. I watch a page on Facebook of a guy who posts declarations about baseball players and the like just to get people riled up. Like one day he'll say the stat WAR is terrible, and the next he'll defend Barry Bonds, and the next he'll insinuate that Ozzie Smith isn't the greatest at something and so on.
Yesterday, he posted a meme that David Wells celebrating a perfect game had the "same energy" as Trump after his brush with death. It was so tasteless that all I could post was "This is just cringe, man."
But why is she still working at Kotaku it says a lot about the people who hired her.
I blasted ABC in a comment after watching their coverage where they showed photos of the perp as a CHILD. Trying to gain sympathy for the shooter! (Yes. I reacted !) I had wanted to go and say goodbye to Disneyland, one last time and had a trip planned and waiting for my first payment, but your comment about who you spend time with hit hard. Disney no longer holds the values of Walt and Roy. They no longer value children or protecting their hearts and minds. There are no family values there any longer.😢 And now this. WHY was I even thinking it would be a good thing to go??? I cancelled my trip this morning . No more ABC. No more Disney ANYTHING. I think they should be forced to stop using the Disney name and making money off of what Walt and Roy sacrificed for and built. It is not Disney any longer, not even a little bit.

Grace Randolph's post gives the impression that she assumes the Democrats were behind the assassination attempt, and doesn't care.
At this point, I'm starting to wonder if her assumption is correct.
