I never played 1v1 online yet and i started playing 3 days ago vs AI. I only know how to play cheese and still can't play 1v1 because i feel like i'm going to feel ashamed for playing it xd

hey there's some top16 or even top8 players in the world hwose strategy is based on smart cheese; that is standad openings for them and totally legit
Don't worry in the early leagues a lot of players aren't that much better, besides better to cheese than to not play at all

Lowko man, thank you so much for your videos! I just took the plunge tonight and tried 1v1. I lost the first 2 matches, but WRECKED on the 3rd match. Turns out I'm a protoss player. Who knew? In brrodwars I was Zerg through and through.

I like seeing this kind of Starcraft II play because it makes it interesting. Too often with the standard meta we see these stupid late game matches where it just comes down to the Zerg playing some corruptor/broodlord/viper comp and I’m so sick of seeing it. It’s refreshing to see Zerg get beat before this stage. The void ray adept play was brilliant.
That last match was extremely fun to watch. Not a single Zealot or Dragoon. Army was 100% adepts, sentries, void rays and phoenixes. Very neat.

well I think the stasis map will bring some intresting new strategy to deal with the narrow pass in the middle of the map
God, I don’t play vs humans, but immortal juggling looks like it’s incredibly frustrating to deal with, especially combined with shield batteries

I must have come across one of your fans on the ladder, Lowko. I met a guy 3 times in silver 1 that tried the proxy hatch in my main 3 times. He never succeeded, i just had 4 SCV's and any marine i produced kill em.
No overtime. No tiebreakers in this series

Nerchio's downfall on the first game was due to the prism's juggling, spore crawlers could have changed the tide of the battle before the immortals got the chance to increase in numbers.

these PRO players sure leave out some very obvious units and builds
goblin plays more like madman charging blindly into death. 2nd game: he sees the hatch come done and doesnt shut it down because he wants to put pressure on the front. 3rd game: his entire build is revealed because he doesnt get rid of the overlord scouts. I like Has way better.

How does he use all of the corrosive biles simulanteously? I know rapidfire is a thing but that's faster than rapidfire.

force fields need to be attackable, adepts need to 3 shot workers, not 2 when at 0 attack
And terran needs auto-win button
Zerglings need to have metabolic boost removed. Stim needs to cost 15 life for marines and 30 for marauders. Hatchery needs to cost 350 gold + drone.
Protoss literally could have built one canon in game two in his base and he doesn’t lose, wtf was he doing. He just sat there and watched that hatchery slowly grow all the while he is building canons all the way across the map. Wtf
The cannon was probably barely out of range or he would have made it that's why he made a zealot immediatly

When you look at patches selectively, then yes. Zerg has been the absolutely dominant race this year. Nerfing them is only logical.

Is zerg a good choice for a new player?
hendrikus pralambang Terran is a better choice for introduction to the basics of Starcraft. The best way to learn Starcraft though is to play the Campaign. Keep in mind though that some units in the campaign are different or is not available in the ladder. 😁
