Good job on your video! You could have made that cleaner by soldering your red/blk wires straight onto the bluetooth module and removed the micro usb jack. Good job on the video though! And for the most part soldering has it's place but whenever you can you should use crimp splices for wires. I've soldered wires before and found they break over time vs splices hold up for much longer time.
5:52 where can i find this cable? I have a Bluetooth board i can fix it with an open usb micro cable for power but i can’t find the cable with the pins...
Are you talking about the audio/aux cable? You can make it yourself with an audio lead and a 6 pin Dupont connector as per the video/links in description
Did it come out ok without disconnecting the heaters cables? Because getting at the cables is a major ball ache. Radio has stopped working, suspecting a common problem with a voltage reg. cheers
Do you know if you can remove those symbol rings on these jazz’s , the ones showing “off, 1,2,3,4, all the other heating systems etc” wondering if I can get those off
the h-tune website seems to be down and clubjazz doesn't link much - found your video - presumably the usb power board is just a cigarette power to usb adapter broken down to just the pcb to convert 12v safely down to 5 ? your video doesnt show clearly what usb power board you used could you link a suitable one?
Hi. The video shows what I used @1:45. A usb adapter for the cigarette lighter should work and convert the 12v to 5v. Any will do I think. I just took mine apart and soldered some wires onto the cigarette lighter contacts.
Hey there, thanks for the video. I have just bought jazz 2003 automatic in Netherlands. And was looking for such mod to apply on mine. Just a quick question, is the powering wires should be same for a jazz in Netherlands? I mean the yellow/red one for positive, black for the negative?
Not sure really. I did have a problem with my audio lead which caused some noise due to a bad connection. Or maybe it could be interference coming from the usb power adaptor?
Deffo wire side connection most likely ground side of 12v or Bluetooth board. I'd had issues as similar hiss. An turned out to be board touch with the inside behind dlcd player metals
Hi I think you can use these plastic connectors called scotch lock (or scotchlok) which allow you to tap the existing wiring. I didn't have them so just soldered.
Is the DC power plug required, or did you just include it so there was still a fuse in the circuit? Could I, in theory, just wire a micro usb to the ignition 12v power lines as showed?
Very nice video! Just wondering.. if you solder another aux cable "in parallel" with the other to the Dupont header will the radio accept both bluetooth and aux? Would it work? Thanks
hello my friend and congrats for the SUPER HINT :)..i bought the same module, tried at home was clean and perfect, in my honda jazz is very noisy before pairing; after pairing clean but low output, what could be? i used a 12 to 5 car adapter, maybe should try with other models more stabilized...someone suggest to install an isolated converter DC DC 5v to 5v...what do you think?
Hi. I would test the audio lead is working ok as I had noise problems with it due to a bad connection. Maybe try a different source via the audio jack to see if there is still the sound problem from the radio? Also I can't make calls with mine as it only works as a wireless speaker.
brilliant mod mate! will try this for sure! Getting my Jazz next week :)

Yes you should be able to pull it out far enough to access it without disconnecting the heater controls
Hi can't get from China while Corona no post coming can I get from uk if you know please
And also my radio sound is quite need IC502 I can't get on ebay I tried if you got any contact please
Danke ich hab es auch repariert mit eine Luft Gebläse Einhel
Which power wire from the car

No idea sorry
Do you know the code for factory settings

Don't know if they are the same. I'd suggest using a multimeter to find the wire which has +12v and is linked to the ignition
They are man. Sure you've sorted this out already.
There is a readymade module on Aliexpress for like 7 usd.
@@yankodimitrov5246 can you please tell me what shall i write on ali express to get this 😢
Hi kahraman, may I know how did you solve this issue ? Did you try it in NL , does it work ? Or you find a solution
Thank you. Mine is working like a dream, however there’s a bit of a hiss when the car engine runs. Any idea to fix this?

that part you fitted can that affect the cd player from working ?
No you use the AUX button on the radio to switch to using this.
good project looks easy
Thanks for the info, i hope you isolated the leads with shrink tube or tape. 🦝🔧
Yes I did :)
Hi I've got the Bluetooth module working I was just wondering if it was possible to connect to the ignitions 12v system without soldering

@@amp9438 Wow I never knew they existed lol I haven't opened my head unit so I was thinking is there anyway I could trap my wires where the loom goes?

USB is 5v so you need to drop the voltage
@@amp9438 cheers mate!!

Hi. Haven't tried it but think it would probably work
@@amp9438 thank you for the quick reply, I Will probably try it. If so, I will give feedback
Hello. Can you write the Aux cable sequence? Which one is right, which one is left and which one is common.
The links in the description should take you to the Honda forums which have the wiring diagrams
@@amp9438 Thank you.
would you be willing to rig one of these for me (not with bluetooth, just for aux) and ill of course pay for your time, parts, and delivery?
Sorry I'm not making or selling these
@@amp9438 I'll pay good money, I'm really stuck here and can't find anything
Wonderful!

@@amp9438 thanks for your answer...i also tried to route the audio to use built in telephone mic but in Android 12 seems to be quite impossible
someone done this to my car and the cd won't work at all it won't even insert a disk
This video was extremely useful to convince me not to do this mod.... way too complicated
