  • I was tired of having my desk occupied by the control box of my 3d Creality cr10 printer. I found a guide with the material to print on the Thingiverse website. Thanks to the extraordinary work of the user "RICS 3D". I still have to finish some small details such as the slot for the micro-sd. Subscribe to the channel to support me!

    Just got a CR-10 last week. First 3D printer. Upgrading to 10S mainboard, then 2nd z-axis, filament detector and leveling sensor. Printing out an AIO kit.
    Since I'm stripping the controller box, I need to print out four little cinder blocks, box atop, snap a pic.

    would it be possible with the length of the stock wiring to move the mainboard to the front for easy access? using octoprint, so probably don't need the sd card at all now and this is awesome!

    Does it affect the maximum printable height, mounting the spool holder in the fashion that you have?

    • @cosmochannelvideo
      @cosmochannelvideo  4 роки тому

      By mounting it like this, you lose about 6 inches in height... I never mould objects taller than 10/15cm...

    Thanks for the video, it helps a lot. Just wonder if you have a list which parts used from the original RISCS 3D project, as there are quite a few options. I have an original CR-10, and would like to print out just the correct parts. Thanks.
