That is satisfying ... especially if the grass is from 10 inches to 2 feet tall with the seeds.

I just bought a house and put sod in the backyard, but I never appreciated mowing it until I had my son in September. You must be a Dad to fully appreciate the yard mow followed by a nice cold beer. Hope Dad life is treating you well Phly!

I could understand the gear being *damaged* and having issues raising/lowering them, but never once have I heard a store about an airplane's wheels *falling off* due to airspeed. Heck, you need to hit a pretty hard rut to tear the gear off a plane in the first place. Granted, not all planes are built equal, but again, they don't have the wheels fall off because they were going a bit too fast.
An that's not even mentioning the low speed at which it broke for Phly. 275 kmh should be nothing to a landing gear.
On some Spitfires you can loose your gear by the end of the runway on takeoff if you don't tuck em in.

I'm pretty sure IRL exceeding the rated speed for deployed gear will just jam them in place. Also at really high speeds I'd think the gear would throw the plane into a front flip before they would actually come close to breaking off.

I use this thing in Air RB the low stall speed and low speed handeling makes it a beast if they try to turn fight you under 300kph

You can try playing the F-104J at 10.7 br, would love to see how you handle it, might learn a lot from it to make my experience better.
Play it like a vulture. Pick on people who aren’t paying attention/in fur ball and shove aim9p/j down their pipe or blast them with 20mm. Keep it low and fast (at least at first contact) these days considering radar missiles are too good. These 104 platforms get more and more power crept each patch without br decompression. It’s not the ideal plane at all these days considering all the pulse doppler planes.

@@cubicsquare6926 well yes and it’s 10.3 for some reason it didn’t get moved up when it received aim9j. They all play basically the same but playing the 104J/G means your more likely to see 11.0.

I usually play in arcade mode. I am messing around with the sweds and the Battle Truck. I switch over to the 60+mm pen ammo and it is amazing the difference to the 70+mm pen ammo.

the brokenfighter .... it was one of the best planes in 2012/2013... could turn like crazy and could kill easly.
mowing the lawn when its over due is in fact a time of zen. That is in fact dad code that has been past down though out the ages. However one will only find true peace and the meaning of life when he mows his lawn in pair of new balances and high socks.
While trying to get the mk.XVIII mosquito I was forced to use this as my British CAS for a while and fell in love with it.

Day 90: Phly, play the I-185 (M-82) at 3.7 for CAS. It is WAAAAAY underrated (3x20mm with powerphul AP + bombs/rockets). It's also really phast.

While you're on Brit stuff, try the scimitar [matched with a rooikat or 2], its reall super under-rated by players at 8.7, most people don't understand how good the 4x ADEN cannons and 4x hard points are when combined with such powerful engines.

I remember getting a 14 kill streak in this thing back in 2013 while having a full conversation with my dad on the phone. It truly was that easy.
Yeah, multi engine planes can usually limp home, aka maintain level flight airspeed with just one engine, but they can't take off with fewer than 3/4 combined engine power.

You need to go try the Firecrest at 2.3, it's insane. Two M3 .50 cals that can pen any roof it's likely to see at that BR, four pairs of RP-3s, and it's very fast considering it fights freaking biplanes. Remember, it was initially at 4.0.
