You can tell developers put alot of love into Lydia. Shes generally your 1st companion and they probably figured most casual players would take her everywhere and not bother with the rest. They pushin her to be best girl.
Then they made Serana....
too bad you cannot marry any other Vampire girls
Lydia is best girl...BUT! Serana is runner up. I love Serana.
@@revanshan3308 But you CAN turn your wife into one if you side with the vampires in the Dawnguard DLC
@@eddmario nice to know
Baddies of Skyrim 🔥
Tier list
"She used to be a former thief"
🤔🧐 I seeeee...
So that means shes a thief again?
@@rinoz47 it certainly seems that way! 😅
@@rinoz47 she certainly stole my heart
Sylgja. She's good looking, kind, and doesn't take a merchant or follower out of the game.
Brelyna Maryon Best option.
she probably has seen the horse transformation and has some weird things in store for the dragonborn and his bedroom.
Aela. Lovely werewolf lady. Sad that she can't transform. Hunting together and sharing their enemies hearts... I really hope future titles include transformations for companions, I mean shouldn't be that hard.
A video like this in 2024 is crazy. Every other skyrim info type video i see is damn near 10 years old lol.
Still, much appreciated as i get to look at other options for my multiple characters.
Honestly, Lydia will always be my best girl. My first follower, first woman i married, Ysolda was the second lol. I like Alea, Mijoll and Frea but never married them. I WISH you could marry Serana but you can't without mods. I love Serana but i just can't put her above Lydia. It doesn't feel right for me personally. She's 2nd best though for sure.
I remember playing Skyrim for the first time and thinking Aela was so cool, her armour and demenour, and that she was a werewolf. So naturally I had to ask her to be my wife.
Second wifey option was the Lioness
Third I accidentally stumbled upon the argonian lady, on the xbox 360 version up until the dlcs after, she was on a timer for getting to her, before the first real world day ended otherwise her quest would never activate. So nearly every runthrough I sped to Windhelm to do her quest in case I wanted to marry her.
The Orc Lady. She's surely a fine warrior and seems like a kind and caring woman. I don't remember any other married companion right after battle, asking "Are you right my love? Here take this" and gave me a health potion she had in her inventory I kept for her.
Pretty memorable all of them.
Still disappointed I could never marry a Khajiit 😅
All excellent options. It was disappointing to learn that there are no Khajiit options. 🤔. Wonder why that is. Thank you for watching.
It is illegal to be a furry in Skyrim
I dunno, Mjoll has baggage.
@@lif6737 But being a scaly is fine?
@@rinoz47 You call him baggage.
I call him an extra meat shi-I mean bodyguard for when my home gets attacked by bandits or giants.
Lads , lets talk about Lydia :
-Nord ( already perfect)
-sword and shield ready to take on Alduin if it means protecting you
-built like a TANK
-doesn't need magic to kick butt
-ready to hold to as many dragon bones and scales you can find
-no daddy issues , anger issues or sadistic tendancies
-hasn't sold her soul to any daedra , heart and spirid as pure as Shor made them
-posessive but in a lovely way (she won't let you go through the door without saying Hi first)
Now , if this ain't enough proof to you that she can be the Dovahwife than idk what will.
i've always personally been upset that you can't marry Wujeeta in Riften in the vanilla game
she's, imo, one of the cutest argonian women in the vanilla game and i get mad protective of her when she mentions how scared she is of losing her job at the fishery because she got addicted to skooma, even moreso with a few of her radiant conversations with a couple of the other citizens
from my perspective, i just want to help her get clean and let her live a cozy, comfortable life thanks to my character's insane and endless wealth, and i get a cute lizard waifu in return
but for whatever reason, she's non-marriageable in the vanilla game, so after you complete her unmarked quest and use her to start The Raid quest, she becomes completely irrelevant
i don't even think she's canonically already married, you just don't get the option
i guess the logic, aside from BGS just saying "people probably won't pay too much attention to her", behind this is "why would she want to marry you just because you gave her one healing potion?"
but at the same time... Temba will jump your bones for killing a few bears
and even then, Wujeeta still starts The Raid quest, which the end goal is to put an end to the Rift's skooma trade, which she says she's afraid they'll come after her if she rats them out
so, you could tie her marriage flag to finishing that quest and you could have an extra dialogue option with her after completing it, saying "Hey, I took care of those Skooma people. You won't be seeing them again."
that would be a pretty impactful thing and much more reasonable for her to want to marry you for. not only did you help with her addiction, but you went after the people who got her addicted and took care of them, so she's now completely safe from the people she ratted out, and those same people won't be poisoning anyone ever again
TL;DR I really like Wujeeta and I always get a mod that lets me marry her whenever I play Skyrim :v
my go to is usually Aela, Brelyna or Borgakh. Since I play as a reckless barbarian, a partner that can also help me on my dungeon delving adventures is what I love. c:
Muiri is a strong candidate, but Borgakh can Steal my Heart any day.
Lydia my beloved
Isn’t that the truth. 😂
So you choose the blandest one with no story whatsoever.
Same. My first love.
@@KDB349 Not everyone has good taste
Brelyna, Ysolda and Sylgia are also have an amazing personality and really fall in love with the Dragonborn if you decide to marry them. And they will like any house you choose except Markarth, but, being honest, nobody who has a choise will live in this city.
Fun video! I use the Marry Almost Anyone mod and it's super fun.
My first wife in Skyrim was ysolda
Only Amulets of Mara sold/rewarded by the priests in Riften work for marriage. I had a hell of a time using a looted Amulet of Mara.
Really? I've never even heard of that issue before. Wouldn't surprise me though
You need to talk to him first. Once he tells you about marriage than any amulet will work.
I like using the “Marry anyone” mod, so I can first drop the hammer on Mikael, then go Wed Carolotta.
Or
I request the hand of Edri, from the Blue Palace, because she’s just so dang cute and innocent. Especially with her line of…
“Are you my gallant hero? Have you come to whisk me away, to a life of adventure and romance?”
I decided to marry Camilla this time around because, not only was her and her brother the first people we meet when the game first start, but are appreciated to the Dragonborn for helping them and ask for nothing in return. But of course, I had to deal with Sven and Faendal. So I talked to Faendal, had him give me the fake letter, spoke to Sven immediately after that, had him give me the fake letter from Faendal and give it to Camilla so she be angry at Faendal. Of course, this was all a setup to have Sven trust me so I take him to the Shrine of Boethiah and sacrifice him to the Daedric Lord. THEN to add salt to Faendal, married Camilla (which admittedly, I like her story and reason to coming to Skyrim) and now live in the manor that oversees Whiterun in the distance.
Here comes the best part: I wake up one day and Faendel was in my house right next to Camilla! She gasped when she Faendal was there and he said the line "You talking to me? After what you did?" and I am like "BITCH, YOU ARE IN MY HOUSE!'. Of course he left my home but not after quietly following him, killing him and dumping his body in a dead area full of mammoth remains. Best part? Not even seconds later I had a courier come up to me, handing me a letter from Camilla which is a thank you to me for eliminating her "rival".
So not only do I have a brother in law who owns a business, to which I invested in and sell my goods from time and time again, but a wife who thanked me for killing her "rival" all while I was the one who made her think that Faendal was the jerk AND sacrificing Sven to a Daedric Lord, thus getting rid of the competition for Camilla's heart!
Talk about the disrespect!
>play beefy elf hating thu'um god two-handed nord stormcloak warrior
>marry Jenassa every single time
Just as Talos intended.
can we get a modded version for ALL the relationship dialog followers addons
or just a top 5 plssssssss
We will look into it! Thanks for watching.
I wish I could get the mod that lets you get with Serana
I wish there were more Altmer and Orsimer options...but...that's what mods are for. 😄
Skyrim is still my favorite game with the restoration potion glitch. I married Lydia in 1 game play but didn't like being called thane so don't bother with marriage. Might try marriage again with Ysold. Good video
Mjoll is best wife, just be sure to give her some space for a while after aerin has an "accident"
Yikes, mods really are a requirement for marrying one of the mer 😬
My first wife in Skyrim was The queen hunter herself XD
Wait Senna's a Breton?
Okay, so I have constructive criticism! This video was awesome; no notes. I really liked the line delivery in this one, and I was hoping to convince you guys to 'flip the script' on the male version of this video! Bare with me, I don't know the names of the people speaking, so I'm going to have to generalize a bit.
I think it was nice to hear a woman describing the potential female marriage options! She's got a nice voice.
Now, I want to hear 'the gruff voiced guy' wingman for each of the male romance options! In essence, this format is trying to convince you of the pros and cons of a romantic choice. You already have a woman giving you the low-down on the other girls, now we have to have a guy do the same!
I think 'the gruff voice guy' would be the best player to this part- I could most easily see him helping out a buddy with girls at a bar or something. That exact tone would be hilarious!
Aela is a bad pick for a wife as she is still in love with Skjor and pines to hunt with him again in Hircine’s domain
