Not in support of this ad in the slightest but not necessarily in support of that message of yours either. Imagine a lady has a knife on her person, riding the elevator with a stranger, perhaps a shy or quiet young man on his way out of his home to a job interview. He’s as peaceful as her yet oddly something in her “Gut instincts” is telling her to strike first, fight or flight are often gut reactions often in tandem with gut instincts, something about him is perhaps making her “Feel” unsafe but her gut reaction is almost always to strike first, fight first, rather than someone else’s flight first. In this it is fight. Telling anybody to always listen and sometimes not ignore their gut instincts and reactions is an equally dangerous message. How to reconcile this?
Exactly! I'm not Australian, but I am a SA survivor too and screw someone else's feelings when it comes to the safety of myself, other women and children. If I see a man in the women toilets or locker rooms, I'll scream. I don't care what anyone says. Pronouns or self ID'ing be damned, you still have the physique of a man! You shouldn't be in there! I don't get why there are even women that accept this! We constantly have to be on guard as women, especially around men we don't personally know. (sometimes even around men we think we know) I'm not saying that all men have bad intentions, but we have no way of knowing which man does or doesn't. That makes it so dangerous. And there are plenty of predatory men using this self ID'ing stuff to their advantage. We have to keep fighting this. I fear that one day, the governments are going to force us to accept this, but we can't jeopardize the safety of women and children, no matter what.
That's what kills me. They pushed all thos safety stuff using people like you and then turn around and basic say nah, you have to feel unsafe. It's insane.
The thing is that technically if feelings mattered to these government people and whoever pushes for that stuff fr, they would listen to a majority that feels unsafe. There are more women than trans people, and many women do not like this. Heck even many trans people believe womens spaces matter. It's like they returned to an era where women were not allowed to have opinions and we are regressing. And they wouldnt even listen to trans people like Buck Angel who call that kind of stuff out.
I don’t care if you’re black, white, gay, straight, trans, or anything else… if I’m in an enclosed space with ANYONE that I feel discomfort around, I’m leaving. Period. It’s not about you. It’s about how I’m feeling in the moment and I 100% have the right to see myself out.
That’s the way, on the individual, self-centered and selfish level, not based solely on this specific aspect otherwise the messaging becomes a bit icky. Ultimately, anyone holds the right to leave some place they don’t feel comfortable no matter the situation.
@SunKissedBaddie fair enough. I might be puzzled as to why you left, but I wouldn't go crying to CNN about it. And I certainly wouldn't feel like my safety was threatened because you decided to split. Whoever made that ad is touched in the head if they think that.
The irony of saying trans people deserve to feel safe while showing an actual woman feeling unsafe and therefore exiting the elevator can't be overstated lol
@@LloydChristmas-vx2wh People are bullies. But not all people. Cis men are bullies. But not all cis men. Why are a minority of ‘biological men’ who live as women more likely to be bullies in your eyes?
All you have to do to figure this out is think. Women go through the world more cautiously than men for a reason. First, is our physical safety. Men are bigger, stronger, and have way more testosterone pumping through their bodies. Women are so much more likely to be physically violated that I doubt if there’s even a statistic for it. The other reason is the way we’re made by nature to be hyper vigilant for every kind of threat around us, because we’re the ones who will spend way more time protecting babies and children. Normal women are always on the lookout for any potential threat to themselves and their children. We look out for other people’s children, too. Sorry if you’re little feelings are hurt by us doing what we’re made to do.
@@5pctLowBattery I know you were kind of kidding, but it’s obvious many people honestly (or dishonestly) think like this and talk this way. @beverlyshane8433 Do you automatically jump off an elevator everytime a man gets on the elevator with you? I gotta tell ya, ive been alone on elevators with men and women. Everything has been fine so far. No assaults or murders.
My teacher once ignored what I had to say in class once because my twin brother had already said it in another class period. I was treated unfairly as a twin. 2/2 twins are treated unfairly in their lifetime.
So… THIS is what they are talking about when they say trans people are “literally dying” from transphobia? Older women not wanting to share elevators with linebackers in dresses? We used to have this thing called “stranger danger.” The premise was “if someone feels strange, they probably are. And it’s safer to leave their presence than stay in it and face possible danger.” - we used to teach kids to trust their gut and follow their instincts - now we tell women that they have to stay in uncomfortable situations in close quarters or they are bigots - and if their instincts tell them to flee, that’s violence towards the person they are fleeing 😑
This is what baffles me. They claim that trans would be unsafe in Men’s spaces but then with the same breath say women shouldn’t feel unsafe with trans in their spaces. So you can claim men can be deemed potentially dangerous but women can’t have the same concerns about trans who are actually men in their spaces. make it make sense
If he wears a dress and make-up all potential danger exits his body and he becomes more helpless and weak than even a young teenage girl. So it makes sense he feels threatened if that young girl doesn't want to undress in front of him. Reasoning with this insanity is pointless. The mad have clearly taken over the assylum.
One can clearly see that you don't accept the dogma "transwomen are women" (the moment they say so) and therefore you already qualify as a transphobe. Sadly I've heard exactly this phrase out of the mouth of the (apparently female) German minister for family, and youth, brushing away the concerns about socalled transwomen in female spaces provoked by their new self-ID law. The ideological stubbornness is appalling.

Australia showed its true colours during covid. This doesn’t surprise me, but it’s still deeply unnerving. A woman’s greatest asset to her safety is her intuition. It is vital to be able to listen to that little voice telling you to get out of the lift, to decline the man offering to help with your groceries, to ignore that man asking for directions, etc. Most of the time, after women have been assaulted, they report that they “had a feeling” but ignored it because they wanted to be polite. Ignoring those feelings gets women killed. And there has recently been a murder spree against women in Australia. Never let anyone tell you to ignore that little voice. It could save your life.

And i will not apologize for that discrimination. Feel free to judge me if you see me gripping onto my car keys for safety. I will never place anyone's feelings over my own need to feel safe. 🤷
As a man, I would feel very unsafe stepping into an elevator with another huge man pretending to be a woman. Why? Because he's not just a man in an elevator, he's chosen to be a caricature of a woman, which is extremely unusual - 100% of people I've ridden with in an elevator in my 65 years have been exactly what I have expected them to be: men dressed and acting like men, women dressed and acting like women. This scenario as described in the clip would by so bizarre according to my lived reality, I would feel incredibly uneasy. Why? Because I can't predict whether that is a passive pretence by a psychologically confused individual who thinks he's a woman, or a potentially aggressive pretence by a psychologically disturbed individual playing a sinister role. Most likely it's the former, but I can understand why isolated women, in a lift who deal with male aggression in many forms, would be uneasy or frightened.
"The needs of the few outweigh the needs of the many". This is the exact opposite of logic as per Spock on Star Trek. So feelings are more important than logic I guess.
The percentages should not matter. Even if Trannies were 40% and Women 30% somehow. We decided decades ago that Women ought to have a human right to have spaces seperate from men. If men have some vain, egotistical need to delude themselves they have no right to violate other people's human rights.
I use elevators in shopping centers when I have my dog with me. She is very mellow, doesn’t bark, but isn’t small. Several times people were afraid and said they’d wait for the next one. An elevator is an extremely tight space. I completely understand if people are afraid. They don’t know my dog. They might have had bad experiences with other dogs. It doesn’t reflect on me or my dog at all.
Something that always infuriates me about the transdebate is that they are really saying that trans people are entitled to feel safe even if it makes other people unsafe. The feminist agenda has been building up men as the boogey man for ages and now when the men suddenly takes on a dress and proclaim they are women they are somehow "elite women" above the rest and deserve extra privileges, its really mind boggling
It's nuts. The """feminists""" straight-up believe (and demand that WE ALL believe) that, as long as he calls himself a "transwoman", the feelings of ONE SINGLE man, outweigh the feelings, and right to privacy, dignity, safety, fair sports, self-determinism, safe prisons etc, of THOUSANDS of (actual, evidence-based) women and girls. There is literally NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE, where the rights of women have clashed with the demands of (men who self-ID as) "transwomen", where the left has FAILED to prioritize that 0.5% of men, above all women and girls. There is literally NOTHING more important than affirming the evidence-free fantasies of people who choose to ID as "trans", according to these people.
I personally would not have left the elevator, but I would run naked for my life screaming if they came into my changing room - telling me to "accept their bulge". If it was a Trans person like Blair White (who has a penis, but actually passes as a woman & respects womens rights) I would not be bothered. Genuine trans women don't create discomfort to women.
In the first ad the man in woman dress invaded the personal space of the woman after he gazed her, that's why a woman will left an elevator as quick as possible. There was enough space in the elevator, why didn't he gave her more space? It's a common behaviour in an elevator situation to try not to stand too close together, unless you have to because it's full. That sort of behavior make me angry, it's threatening, rude and disrespectful. Like the manspreading next to a woman in the public transportation. So the woman had to make space to get comfortable again.
My brother said he was trans. And I didn't mind giving him a chance until I asked him why he thought that. "Well it's easier to be a woman" damn near sl@pped him back to the 90s.
I've often suspected that a significant driver of the "trans movement is males who can't "make it as males" in society, and either secretly hate women for that reason or want to be the object of male attention, and so do wish to displace women. Some might truly choose to believe that women have an "easier life" than do men, and want to ride that perceived social gravy train they believe women get. We see relatively few females wanting to transition to males. The majority is male to female, and social climate seems to play a role.
That's why we need third party comment options. The only one I've found so far is Clamor, it's a browser extension. It's a bit too basic but it's something at least.
As an American it's doubly embarrassing, seeing this spread like a virus. And as a woman, it's downright maddening. This whole subject is just wrong on so many levels, and it's upsetting to be lumped in with these psychologically challenged individuals. 😢
As a Norwegian I’m embarrassed to find us rooting for this spread of the ideology - using both American states and Australia (alongside Brighton in UK et cetera) as good examples…in stead of taking a more sceptic stance like per example Sweden seem to be approaching.
Thank the governments, all of that is just bs. The whole thing is a government started ideology, not the people's! Most of my male friends and best ones were gay, bi, trans etc. those friends are also so anti-alphabet you would be surprised. Go to New Orleans and see.
I couldn't imagine having a young daughter right now and worrying about an adult male being in the restroom or locker room with her. I don't care about trans women using a female bathroom with me, but I'm an adult. But with a 12-year-old girl?? That's scary. I remember being 9 or 10 years old when adult males started becoming inappropriate with me. During my preteen/teen years, I had men leer at me, stick their tongues out at me, grope me, rub up against me, try to hug or kiss me, say sexually inappropriate comments, try to give me rides. It happened all the time. I know most trans women aren't out to harm children or females, but we don't know who's doing it to get into women's spaces. Trans people should feel safe, but not at the expense of biological women.
I suppose I’m a transphobe since I would feel uncomfortable with someone who dresses like a woman but is obviously a man. I have no problem with a person dressing how they choose, but I would still feel uncomfortable. Can’t help my feelings
It’s so blatantly disrespectful and dismissive of women’s feelings of safety! How is it that nowadays women aren’t allowed to feel safe anymore & are being emotionally blackmailed to ignore their instincts about their personal safety?
There was about 39 seconds where we were telling women it was ok to trust their instincts, rather than be polite. Remember that? It was like a Tuesday… in 2017 or something. Glad we got it sorted out that that is actually not ok.

There's a lot to what you said. When I was a teenager and far up into adulthood, I thought of myself as only really existing if someone saw. It sounds strange but as I worked through why I felt so poorly about myself, that's what it worked out to. I realized that if I were the only person in a room, to my mind nobody was there. I'm not saying I think this was the same for you or anything, but what you say about thinking people were looking at you and judging you all the time is akin to that. And what happens when there are two people on an elevator, both thinking the other is judging them without mercy? Well, each is thinking only of themselves. What a wall stands between them.

Women who avoid any and all men no matter how they're dressed or how they look are exhibiting weird behavior, we should at least be able to admit that. As a black man I can understand when people avoid me but I dont have to like it or accept that its always reasonable behavior I think these comments comparing avoiding being with a person to avoiding being with an unknown animal are wild. People who have dogs typically dont have problems with being with dogs, it's those who dont spend time with dogs who mostly dont like it. We all work with people literally everyday though. I mentioned this in another channel. Apparently there are examples. I’d bet that they’re larger framed women to begin with. I have female cousins who are over 6’ and built like amazons. With enough training they might be able to compete in certain areas but they are definitely outliers.
Its because nobody tells them they cant join (and we all know why). And its not like theyre breaking records or anything either, so they might just do sports and exist like a lot of other male athletes who only the most fanatic of fans may know about. The reason they gave this example in the video is because men get denied to participate in female sports (and we all know why). The government perceives that as an act of unjust discrimination rather than actually justified.

They should, however, coddle your dog’s feelings. 😉Poor babies don’t understand that they look intimidating when they are clearly showing an open and friendly posture. Met a long haired GS who at about 8 months was a giant animal already. He was clearly a puppy still by behavior and facial features, borking away like a mad man, more in greeting, but with a soft and inquisitive posture, so my husband and I stopped to say hello. Before we could even say anything, the owner was profusely apologizing. We explained that it was very clear he was just trying to say hello and that we were very aware that he was still a baby even though a giant one. It reminded me of a friend who had a 5 year old with a growth disorder to the point where he was 5’ tall. People thought he was a slow teen, rather than understanding he was a tall baby.
@@Jynxedlovehaving had everything from extra large to extra small in the way of dogs, we always found it hilarious that people would avoid our calm and gentle giant, while going towards our little guy who was frantically running away while snarling. Even he avoids little dogs because he knows they are the biggest jerks😂.
Considering how many men in dresses are suddenly assaulting women, it's no wonder the woman chose to leave the elevator. She probably didn't feel safe with him.
I'm genuinely scared for our future. It's not fair that I have to share my spaces, spaces where I'm meant to feel safe, with deceptive men who think womanhood is a costume.
The ‘giving up the seat’ example is absurd. There was a spare seat (occupied by a briefcase). The boy in the blouse and lipstick didn’t need ‘a special invitation’ to sit down - who waits for that on a bus? Nobody. Ordinary people simply go over and indicate that they’d like to sit in the unoccupied seat, and other ordinary people remove their bags, cases etc. and let them sit down. End of…. The goofy grin on that kid’s face makes it seem as if the other guy had just pulled a thousand bucks out of his briefcase and handed it over, or done him some other massive favor. He didn’t even give blouse-man his seat, just moved his bag and shifted over. I mean, who wouldn’t do that!? And BTW, briefcase man WAS taking up 2 seats, while other people were standing, so rather than being a nice ‘kind’ guy, he was actually being a bit of a seat hog. Make it make sense…
Hogging a seat while at least two women were standing. Wonder why those women chose not to sit with this guy. What tells did the trans person miss? Sure it’s just an ad, but if it was reality you would have to think.
So Me as a sexual assault suvivor who was assaulted as a child, and again as a young woman just has to shut up and let a man with his male parts, who is biologically bigger, strong than me come into the gym locker room while I undress, or shower, or into the ladies room I am in and just deal?!? I was told at work when a male came into the ladies room and I walked out and complained (without receiving myself) was told to Hold it in or walk around the complex (which is large) to find another ladies room?
You saw the size of that hulk...clearly an asset for the team but a damning threat of physical harm to the opposing team. So f'ing WRONG. Call me a transphobe - I'm not. The solution is simple. Add 2 more categories of sports, trans women & trans men. Let them compete against their own kind. That is the ONLY fair thing to do. I am disgusted at how the US gov't, now AU, is forcing this insanity down our throats. Like saying a lion wearing a foo foo outfit is the same as a housecat wearing a foo foo outfit.
Where is the propaganda ad on a 6 foot tall male in a bad wig and make up near a small tiny woman in a toilet or locker room? Or where women are being hurt in sports? Or forced to say a lie when a male states he's female and must be addressed as she/her pronouns?
IF I were to live in Australia, I would be very angry. As a woman who worked in childcare for 20 years, I had to either push prams or carry babies on public transport. MANY times, no one offers a seat. Why is a trans woman mode deserving of a seat than a pregnant woman or a woman carrying a baby?
The transwoman (man) just felt OFFENDED by her leaving, there’s no threat or “unsafe” situation about this! Show me WHERE there is “unfair” treatment here….
as an autistic person I hate things like "the unsaid says a lot". No it's not. It's "unsaid", it literally does not say anything... Because things like that I just want to isolate myself from society. Live is hard as it is, you don't have to make me more paranoid about the way I breathe.
@@TVTIME-be8ze They already do, my friend. They already do. People already tried to turn some of the basic behaviors of Autistic people, like lack of eye contact and claim they are micro aggressions. Didn't work, but still.
I cannot recommend making mostly neurodivergent friends. They are way more likely to understand and also tell you if they think there is a problem knowing you don't think that differently. Working on open communication with them is easier than with neurotypical people. Life gets easier with a found family. It can take into your 20s or 30s or even later to find one depending on when you start looking to foster that family, but I promise things get easier.
Normal, well adjusted, adults have patience for that sort of thing. Especially when they have children. I'm not comparing the two things, just that raising children tests a persons patience far more than an autistic adult ever could. I do know it's difficult, especially these days where people have mostly fallen into the worship of self. Hope you have people around who always remind you that you matter.
Each member of our family is on the spectrum, we seem to attract others also on the spectrum. I have been seriously concerned about what you posted happening.
Seems to me like the woman who got out of the elevator may have been the one who felt unsafe. Not sure how the other person felt "unsafe" being left in the elevator alone, unless they're frightened of elevators.
That's it, I'm done.WE have to refuse this conversation, there are starving kids, homeless kids, kids in foster care and group homes, then there are the mentally ill, elderly, indigent and homeless, not to mention the illegal human trafficking as a global issue, ALL in line ahead of trans people crying discrimination. There are bigger problems people! It is negligence to focus anything on trans rights while people are dying and starving. The entitlement makes me feel sick.
🤷♀️Most folks actually do differentiate Trans and Bio despite the claims “Oh ye, trans are the Same as bio.” a result of the Bio being part of the movement that pushed for zero chivalry or have adopted that as part of it through the public’s perception. He just didn’t want to and gave it to the trans.
another thing to note is that none of the "gender diverse" people are biological females... these kinds of things really show their true colors and how regressive their progression is. The things they didn't say in this ad, man!

Telling a woman to ignore her gut instinct is a dangerous message.

Many female Victorians have made written complaints about this. As a survivor of SA, someone else’s feelings does not trump my safety
According to your government, they do.

How progressive.
Don't lump those freaks in with actual men. It should be quite clear that is not what actually defines them.
This ad is asking for special treatment, not fairness.

This is what baffles me. They claim that trans would be unsafe in Men’s spaces but then with the same breath say women shouldn’t feel unsafe with trans in their spaces.

It's nuts.

@chesscomsupport8689 Actually, he did the right thing to do this. Also, you don't have a bother to tell this, ok. Even though it's he, not she.

As an Australian, this is embarrassing. We are following Americans gender ideological 😢
As an American it's doubly embarrassing, seeing this spread like a virus. And as a woman, it's downright maddening. This whole subject is just wrong on so many levels, and it's upsetting to be lumped in with these psychologically challenged individuals. 😢
Unfortunately their distorted ideology may turn them into targets. No one likes to be forced fed or backed into a corner. It never ends well.

Who hasn’t been “treated unfairly” in their life?

I stopped going to my gym at AnyTime Fitness because they got rid of our women’s toilets and made all toilets unisex. Then there was piss on the walls and seats, they stunk and it was unhygienic. This isn’t about diversity and inclusion. It’s a hygiene matter - is women need to sit down to do our business, we need to make contact with the seat most times. We have a menstrual cycle and would prefer a clean toilet to change tampons/pads without the bin lid being covered in male urine. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership.
We had three women toilets and three men’s. and a few showers that were free for all of course - what’s the problem? It made me so mad that all the women loyal to that gym will now have to sacrifice their hygiene for the 1%
I hope you told them why you was cancelling

If a big man dressed as a clown got into the elevator I would feel uncomfortable as well
i used to struggle with paranoid delusions during manic phases before i detransitioned. it’s terrifying feeling like every eye around is on you, staring at you and judging you for being visibly different.
if you ascribe malicious motivations to strangers simply going about their business such as a woman leaving an elevator, a person averting their gaze, etc., and this prevents you from being able to feel safe in public, please see about talking to a professional. those kinds of agoraphobic and paranoid thoughts are not normal, and there is help available for you. god bless
I just stopped at an unfamiliar corner store for a couple drinks. Guy behind the counter wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either. Theres a million things it could be, he's sick, just got bad news, had a long day.. a trans person who uses that as their entire identity would walk away from that exact situation feeling like its because they're trans when in probably has nothing to do with you. Its like they demand good vibes and validation from everyone, its bizarre. If people are not overly nice it doesn't mean they are rude or throwing hate your way, they are just living lol
Women were saying in mass they'd rather be alone with a BEAR than a man in the woods and that was received with enthusiastic approval but if a woman doesn't want to be alone in an elevator with a man in a dress than this organization says that's not okay. Wild.
That bear shit is stupid but I'd rather hear about that than this damn ad 😂
Woman here.... it is still stupid that women said they would rather be with a bear. I find saying that all men are dangerous is ridiculous. Most men are perfectly safe. If a woman is thinking all men they are around are dangerous then they need to rethink about who they hang around. Most men in my life I feel very safe around, including most trans women.
@filmjustice4172 The percentage of men who are safe is definitely much higher than the percentage of bears. Picking the bear is ridiculous unless they get a big, hairy gay guy instead of the animal.
@@filmjusticewarriorfor real. And get a better judge of character. A friend of mine and I were talking about this nonsense (she’d rather be with the bear), and lo & behold, she’s been caught up with a handful of trash men.
Even those of us who generally don’t get perceived as a threat still feel a little frustrated with this culture of misandry.
@filmjustice4172 Oh, I agree 100%. I just thought it was ironic how the world seems to react to both of these ideas with such contradiction. And realistically yeah most trans women are safe too I think it's more the idea that if your alone with another person (literally anyone) and you feel unsafe then removing yourself from the situation doesn't make you a bigot it makes you reasonably cautious. Just funny how in one breath society says most men are dangerous, and then in the next, they say well, but if they wear makeup and a dress, then they're automatically safe.
I would argue that EVERYONE is treated unfairly at some point in their life. It’s not unique to any particular group or person.
An exercise in emotional manipulation, from a government.
Story time.
Me. 6'3 270lbs male.
On elevator going up. Stops at a random floor. Door opens. Woman on the other side. About to get on. Sees me. Stops. Says "Oh, I'll take the next one."
HOW DARE SHE NOT MAKE ME FEEL SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had people do this with my tiny dog too lol, it's normal to be cautious, we have this instinct for a reason. They might have had bad experience with tiny dogs too, people that tell others to forsake their caution are very entitled or they're actually wolf in sheep's clothing.
I guess my service dog and I are in danger when people don't want to share an elevator all the time.
Women who avoid any and all men no matter how they're dressed or how they look are exhibiting weird behavior, we should at least be able to admit that. I mean who knows it's possible she's been assaulted before so that might explain how it could be reasonable. As a black man I can understand when people avoid me but I dont have to like it or accept that its always reasonable behavior
I think these comments comparing avoiding being with a person to avoiding being with an unknown animal are wild. People who have dogs typically dont have problems with being with dogs, it's those who dont spend time with dogs who mostly dont like it. We all work with people literally everyday though. Justifying picking and choosing who you'd ride on an elevator with based on characteristics the person cannot control is nuts to me.

Predatory and misogynist behavior

The long term objective is to educate your children and brainwash them into accepting the trans ideology. The teacher’s unions in the US are actively promoting trans acceptance. The funding organizations behind transgender activism strategically target vulnerable children with their ‘gender clinics’. The ultimate goal, of course, is to destroy the traditional family and replace it with the totalitarian state.
The trans activist are really hurting legitimate trans ppl. They're making ppl feel more uncomfortable and its going to cause trans or other identity not be hired at jobs because of the disruption to your business due to the activist being the forefront instead of their doing the job hired for.

The ‘giving up the seat’ example is absurd. There was a spare seat (occupied by a briefcase). The boy in the blouse and lipstick didn’t need ‘a special invitation’ to sit down - who waits for that on a bus? Nobody.
