Just wondering how you feel about people leaving UA-cam because UA-cam is censoring people videos because they don't agree with the narrative. Are you publishing on other venues? If so what? considering abandoning UA-cam. ask Nautitech as well.
Nonsense. If that were true then almost every monohull is unsafe. On passages you are never helming as the autopilot is doing the work. For inshore passages the aft helm gives you the best sailing experience. Both are safe but it all comes down to personal preference.
@@farrellko thats your opinion and your entitled to it but that doesn't change the fact that it is unsafe and you don't rely on auto pilot during rough weather whitch us the worst time to be at an afthelm
@@farrellko I'm also guessing you havnt watched a single episode of sailing yacht ruby rose where they spend a year looking at catamarans and create an app where ppl can vote on likes and diss likes of the cats they view and its overwhelming that ppl feel aft helms are unsafe

They have given negative marks to Cats for not having dedicated liferaft stowage when all they needed to do was either ask someone who knew or open a locker and see for themselves. Piss power reviewers if you ask me. Now ask yourself - when was the last time someone has been lost overboard because a cat had an aft helm?
@@farrellko there are no 2 ways about it an afthelm is not as safe as a cockpit helm or sport bridge or flybridge helm. You can't rely on auto pilot as it usually fails everyone eventually not to mension afthelms have a very obstructed view as the entire salon blocks a good portion of your view as well. Also afthelms are the most unprotected helm position from the weather and ocean waves and spray.
