You guys are so curious! So very many of you have scratched your heads & asked "Wait, if they did sea trials in France, how the heck did the boat get to France without being sailed??" If you were paying very close attention in an earlier video from the factory, Nikki mentioned that Hull #1 (Bliss) was being shipped to the boat show in Cannes and they were hoping she'd get there in time because a typhoon delayed transport. Yep, you can ship a ship! If you want more info, do an internet search for "trans-ocean boat shipping" or "float-on float-off boat transport." Curious Minion
That's how Tula's Endless Summer got their new catamaran, Seawind 1170. Unfortunately there was some not so minor damage in shipping but it's already been fixed and I believe it was covered by insurance.
You can hear the almost giddy excitement in Nikki's voice as she talks about doing sea trials on your boat. It's almost like a little kid anticipating Christmas.
Hi guys I have been a follower for several years now. You have chosen the best new boat that uTubers of the similar channels have chosen to upgrade. Especially the Aust family ( I too am Aust) who are wildly popular but their choice is based on several flawed ideas. I am equally enthusiastic as Niki to see your boat and travel with you on new voyages. I do like dagger boards though.
Ok that’s a cool boat. As an ex pro sailor & sailmaker who has been involved in commissioning high end race and cruising boats I admit I’m hard to impress but hats off to HH because I really think this is a fantastic performance cruising boat. It would easily satisfy any serious racing sailors desire for a nimble sailing yacht with all the systems and performance targets but it also provides a cruising platform that is easy to sail for a beginner. The bonus is it does not compromise on really wonderful appointments for high end relaxing. This means you just can’t compare the production cats in the market with these boats. I’d choose this to sail around the world because the chassis & DNA of this performance boat allows you to do so super safely. If you are nervous about speed just use less sail and the boat will still sail very well. The more ultra light weight but over strength race boat systems and equipment I see incorporated the more convinced I am peoples ideas of needing a ‘proper blue water cruising boat’ to cruise the world because they are safe is now just bullshit. I don’t think, I know these boats are much safer. Companies like HH who have racing sailors involved are blending the social divide between the recreation and the sport sides of sailing and it’s delivering a superior product. Can’t wait for the delivery of hull 3.

I tend to agree, perhaps if the argument for performance was reframed as efficiency it would be better accepted by those prejudiced against it. After all, sail boats all use the same power source. I think I finally understand the safety message and how buying something so strong would put you at ease in "normal" cruising mode. Thanks for taking us along on the journey! I've bought 3 new vehicles in my life. 1988 Dodge Daytona (I was 21), 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible (still in my garage here in Texas, runs/drives/looks new at 22 years young and 120k miles), and a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, which has since been traded for my current daily driver). So I know the feeling of getting a NEW ride. I've also purchased a home, and know THAT feeling as well, except my home is 46 years old now (only 34 when I bought it). The "break in" periods were all done AFTER the sale. So being able to be part of a sea trial for the almost exact same bought before you take delivery, well...that's WAY COOL! The video is awesome! Can't wait for you guys to get your own ride/home in the water!!! Look forward to that video!!
OK, So just know....... What I know about sail boating, you can fit in a thimble and have enough room left over for an 18 wheeler!..... BUT.... This HH44 is SOOOO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!! That company SURE knows what they are doing when they manufactured that!!! And having it generate THAT much power going into your batteries during your sail..... PHEW!!! Man what a craft!!!!!!!! The day you guys take ownership of yours..... well, lets just say, I'll be worried if there are NO tears!!!!!!
The incredible part is that the designers, engineers, builders are actually hands on sailing this vessel like pro racers, communication and execution were spot on, and they smashed it! What about the reverse docking at 8 knots into tailwind, NO hitting the dock, flawless sailing! Thanks for sharing the experience and making my wallet hurt a lil more. No problem though I do have some cans and plastic that I'm saving up. Must readjust my investment strategies stat! Gotta have this cat....amazing 😮
I can't believe how much I have enjoyed this series. This has been a little bit magic thankyou Nikki and Jason, you made it feel like we were right there with you. Commissioning crew are in a league of their own. Congratulations Skipper Nckolay, what a beautiful vessel and thank you for taking us along. God bless everyone, thanks again 🤗🤗
Congratulations on an amazing boat! Congratulations on an amazing rig and test sail! Congratulations on the best test sail video I've ever seen on a new cat! Well done HH and Wynns!
First and foremost, I want to thank Nikolai for allowing Nikki and Jason to film his sea trial and being willing to be on camera even though I am sure it wasn't the most comfortable thing to do. Being filmed for a channel of this size could be intimidating to most people in the world. I also want to congratulate you on finally getting your new boat. The cool part is that now you have a cool video of your sea trial to show everyone your new boat and the flying a hull 2xs. LOL! Seriously thank you for being willing to share this huge special event with all of us! This was such a cool video and I can't wait to see a repeat of this with N&J's new yacht! I am so excited and even more excited knowing they are already in China probably on their new boat editing the video of their sea trial! Congrats to you both too and can't wait to see your sea trial also.
How are you guys going to sleep at night knowing you're boat is only a short time away. WOW what a boat I though my old GBE was quick now that is impressive. Ooh and did you see the smiles on everyone's face. Can't wait for the next video keep up the good work FANTASTIC.
What a fantastic vessel. Everything about it, is awesome. This is where cruising is heading. Even power boats are changing. Generator-less is the goal. We have many ways to make electricity and we are truly starting to take advantage of it. Great episode! Nice job HH peeps!
It's so sexy!! I can't wait to see you two out on the first sail of your new HH! Soooonn! James at 40kts, "Comfortable" lol That is wild, congrats to Nickolay on their new boat!
OUTSTANDING. The more I see of how the HH's are setup for actual sailing the more impressed I am. You can see the performance and racing pedigree but also the attention to "cruising" users needs. Not to throw shade, but your friends' new cat does not seem nearly as easily managed for the sails. Things like where the winches are, where the lines wind up in the cockpit. I feel like HH really nailed this, particularly for a couple sailing in less than ideal conditions. I can't wait to see you guys in yours and have the adventures continue.
That was an exciting watch! What a great feature of the HH Cat design and product, not to mention taking us on a fun sail in France! Can't wait to see you at your own boat launch. Godspeed!
Fantastic! Congratulations to HH on an incredible vessel. Congratulations to Nikolai on his fast, beautiful and safe boat. Congratulations to those very silly and excited passengers who are one monumental step closer to owning their own HH44.
I must tell you that I am no longer a mono sailor. I am greatly impressed with the HH44 and the performance of this boat while beating at 40kts. All I can say is WOW!
Thrilling to see you two in your element and feeling the reality of being on your new baby very soon. The energy and delight was palpable. So...Much...Fun! Thanks for taking us along on this ride, and thanks to HH and Nikolai as well. First impressions are that your boat is going to be everything you were hoping for. Fingers crossed, knock on wood! That second day of sailing in lighter winds, smooth cruising at 9 knots...spectacular. Two questions: 1) I think you put winglets on your keel instead of daggerboards. Any discussion/predictions among you and the crew about how yours might handle differently from Nikolai's? 2) Understandably lots of people on this commissioning crew, but that obviously made many hands for sail handling, etc. Could this boat be sailed single-handed or would you need at least two?
Very cool to see these designers and builders pushing the limits of performance, while maintaining a sustainable way of sailing. Excited to see your journeys aboard your new boat!
You guys are well experienced your going to soon own the Porshe or Ferrari of the high seas!!!...performance when needed sailor when wanted and home when anchored...most deserving new home you guys are great and cant wait for your new home on the seas!!!....PS envious
Exciting!!! I love watching people who are at the top of their games in whatever they do! The craftsmanship of the craft and the skills of her crew here: OUTSTANDING
I’m truly sorry for you guys that you can’t match my excitement for getting ready to go into the same office again tomorrow for the 28th year. Hold back the jealously please, we don’t want the line to get too long. Lol. In all seriousness, thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Nikolai named his boat appropriately.....Bliss! What a lovely & blissful episode. You two will be so, so happy on your new boat if this is any indication of what Curiosity will be.
Up until now it's all been numbers and educated guesses. Seeing it in motion is a whole different astral plane, just freakin wow... The closeable transoms and self tacking jib are absolutely the way to go. So soon it will be your turn, so amped for you two!
What a great way to get hours of introduction to your boat before you actually sea trial your boat! I could not detect any ‘buyers remorse’ which is totally awesome. These next few weeks should go by quickly. I’m sure you’ll be amazed at the amount of progress your boat has undergone while you’ve been in France 🇫🇷
So dam good Wynns, I can see some entertainment coming in the near future 😁 your drone footage will be excellent marketing for HH. Had me smiling the whole time. Can’t wait for your boat to be commissioned, exciting times indeed. Thank you guy’s for the production, loved it. Safe travels 😊
1. Best boat of that size I have seen, congratulations on the right choice, 2. Regeneration capability is very impressive & useful, 3. Slightly surprised a yard in Xiamen builds such a high quality yacht, 4. HH crew continue to impress, 5. Nice to see the Wynns experiencing "consumer surplus" sort of the opposite of buyer's remorse. Cheers!
Such an incredibly exhilarating video, I can’t imagine how exciting this was in person! Clearly satisfying to you guys confirming that you made the right choice with the HH boat builders. Congratulations all, and like so many, I am looking forward to spending time virtually on yours! What great training experience for new owners!
If I'm this excited for you to get your boat, I can't imagine what you two are feeling. HH's professionalism must also be giving you good vibes. She's gonna be a fantastic vessel.
Wow! This is going to be an amazing new catamaran. The performance was insane to say the least. I am really looking forward to seeing the real nuts and bolts of the hybrid propulsion system later. Congrats to the owner here. He has a very nice boat!👏👏👏
Amazing! That was fantastic! I love how smoothly the reefing system worked and the amount of power you were getting from the hydro generation! You must be so excited about getting your own HH44 OC soon!
That was amazing! So excited for you guys to get your new home into the water, do your sea trials and then we all get to enjoy your water/travel adventures again! Seems like it has been so long and you have been doing an excellent job with content during these non-boat days. It’s almost time!
That commissioning crew is a well-oiled machine. They have to have raced together. Never been a huge cat fan, but seeing what HH is capable of is amazing and gives me a huge appreciation for their design. You have defiantly selected the right boat. The whole rig is a work of art. I'm looking forward to watching hull #3, and you hit the water.
Flies like a bird! I was listening when Nikky went down in the hulls. NO SQUEAKING !! That drove me insane on the seawind video. We are all just so happy . Would love to see it with the transom down in real life

Very cool to see these designers and builders pushing the limits of performance, while maintaining a sustainable way of sailing. Excited to see your journeys aboard your new boat!
that was freakin impressive. thanks for the ride along. I was getting excited too in the company of experts pushing things to the next level.
You GUYS - what an exciting episode.... can't wait to see yours! Woo Hoo!!!!
I love the intro to this video.
When you say "Let's go sailing".
such an amazing upgrade, HH should be really happy with the media exposure, huge difference watching a video versus a brochure.
Now that was 2 days of Bliss!!!! CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOURS!!
Great video, as always.
Not Too Long To Wait

I’m truly sorry for you guys that you can’t match my excitement for getting ready to go into the same office again tomorrow for the 28th year. Hold back the jealously please, we don’t want the line to get too long. Lol. In all seriousness, thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
😁💙💛💙
Niki your excitement is contagious. I found myself smiling almost as big just watching along.
A lot of UA-camrs getting new boats but yours I like the best.
Nikolai named his boat appropriately.....Bliss! What a lovely & blissful episode. You two will be so, so happy on your new boat if this is any indication of what Curiosity will be.
Thanks for taking us along - looking forward to the Sea Trails on Haul No. 3 ! ! ! 🎉
CON GRATULATIONS on reaching 550K Subs, Well deserved!! ☘☘
Cheers!
Best sailing channel combined with a disrupter of a catamaran and now its crazy good!
SOOOOO Freaking Beautiful. Haven't been able to sail for the last 8 years......I'm Drooling.....Fantastic 👍👍
It may sound cliche but she really is a BEAUTY! Congratulations captain Nikolai!
This was so amazing I had to watch it twice. Oh my gosh, that's sailing! 🎉. Amazing boat, amazing video
I'm so excited for you two. Soon we will be watching you sail your own HH. Soon please!
So much smiling, so much fun. And, the world is smiling with you.
After all these years watching y'all....I think you've sold me on HH. TY ❤
Right!?!? Much respect to the builder.
You guys really know how to convey how exited you are. I can't wait till next week and I'm not even getting a boat 🙃

I literally have butterflies in my stomach feeling so excited for you both. I am looking forward to seeing you both on your own home. Fantastic video.
Awesome! Come by Taiwan after you pick up your boat! You would love the people and culture here. Would be happy to show you around.

Can’t wait till you guys get your boat this was a fun video
Fabulous video. U make my Sunday coffee fun. Can’t wait to see your beautiful boat do all this.
That was amazing! So excited for you guys to get your new home into the water, do your sea trials and then we all get to enjoy your water/travel adventures again! Seems like it has been so long and you have been doing an excellent job with content during these non-boat days. It’s almost time!
EPIC!!!! Be happy, be safe
Hi guys, absolutely love the sound on you videos. So clear no wind noice. Well done!❤
