Sometimes players are met w real adversity for the 1st time(playing against elite comp/having their 1st real injury etc) and can't overcome it. Sometimes they end up on terrible franchises. Wide variety of reasons why potential can't miss guys don't hit big.

Almost everyone thought he was gonna help shake things up in the SEC to give the Alabamas, UGAs and LSUs a rub for their money....but obviously that never happened. Kinda bizarre it just fell flat like that but I guess that's what a poor work ethic leads too.

Funny story, the very first clip of Ramsey was against my high school. I was playing that game too. Needless to say we lost. Jalen is legitimately special

I can't even imagine being the #1 ranked recruit in HS and everything that comes with it. Then barely play in College and never even come close to NFL. The downfall is so extreme.

The best college football years in my opinion was between the 2012-2017 seasons nothin since compares to the players and games

I remember going to one of Nkemdiche games. Thought he was going to be like Clowney in college. That didn’t happen unfortunately

I wanted the Cowboys to take Jalen Ramsey at 4 in 2016. Had so many arguments because friends wanted Zeke. But man, did I want Ramsey.

Derrick green was terrifying to play against in high school, bummer his run at UM didn’t work out. Everyone in Richmond was rooting for the guy

I was getting a weird vibe off the 2013 class, and I couldn’t figure out why…until I saw Laquon Treadwell.
This is the recruiting class that started the fiasco in Mississippi that gets covered in the Secret Base (then still SB Nation) documentary “Foul Play”
