I always felt so bad for what happened to Shariff Floyd. He worked his ass off his entire career, finally got that big break, only to have it all taken away from him. That Malpractice suite killed his entire career😔
He’s probably not going to see any money from it either. Dr James Andrews is the top MLB surgeon in the world. If you have a torn UCL and need Tommy John Surgery, you talk to Andrews. Simple as that. Andrews is so big in that field that his name sends a chill down fans’ spines whenever a player gets a second opinion from him, because everyone knows that the types of surgeries he performs often can take players out for a huge chunk of their season, if not a year, and sometimes more than a year. (This is not a jab at Andrews, it’s just the nature of these surgeries and the time needed to rehab from them) He’s done tons of surgeries to hundreds of athletes, if not thousands, spanning over more than 3 decades. The dude’s been performing surgeries on high profile athletes since the mid-80s, if not earlier than that.
weakestlink20 if that’s the case, then he will see the Money. It’ll just be handled outside of Court in order for the Doc to NOT be seen in a Negative Light. Settlement as long as the 2 sides agree on an amount then it should be an EZ Day. ESP if he his as Highly Sought After as you claim, still a Sad Story to say the least!!! P.S. NO DOCTOR wants to go to Court for Malpractice. That will put their Medical License at RISK! That’s why Doctors Pay for Insurance, & MOST High Profile cases such as this USUALLY gets settled outside of Court!
It's a shame that his injury killed his career. I'm not sure he would have made that much in future contracts (180 Million). Maybe half that. Probably over 100 Million.
@8balln8 killingu65 Hey, I'm sure he would have liked to been drafted higher but Minnesota isn't that bad (it's not the Jets, the Browns, Raiders, Bengals, some of the teams with higher draft picks that year). It's a shame he wasn't playing in 2017 where they had a great season but lost to the Eagles a step away from the Super Bowl.
Jesus Christ bro I was just thinking about your channel cause you hadn't posted in a minute and I get a notification. KTO posted... 1 minute ago. Thats some scary shit.
KTO you should do a video on Raghib "the Rocket" Ismail. Not any good videos have ever been made about him. A video about Heisman runner ups in general would be cool too
Nick Hill Standford might give you a run for its money, at least in this generation. Christian McCaffrey, Andrew Luck, Toby Gerhart, Bryce Love. Unreal they didn’t win a national championship
That knee injury was the second season ending injury for Lattimore. Such a good dude and very humble. I’m biased because I’m a South Carolina fan, but I’m sure others feel bad for how things played out.
I am a UGA fan and always respected Lattimore. I hate that his career went the way it did b/c he was such a humble and immensely talented player who deserved so much more. Even though he tormented my Dawgs so many times, I loved watching him play and wish he had been able to overcome his injuries.
The #2 guy who got punished multiple times for using WEED to help deal with CROHN'S DISEASE and yet he still got unfairly punished for. That's some of the most effed up shit I've ever heard.
As a 49ers fan, and long time Madden player, Lattimore has a special place in my heart. He was an 83ovr rookie in Madden 25 under the assumption he would get healthy. In that game, you can make him a star as he backs up Gore and eventually relaxes him... as video game Gore retires after a few seasons, unlike real life where he is still playing
The king is back, I love these videos. Don’t care how long it takes high quality, lots of effort and the videos come out good actually great content creator.
I remember watching Marcus Lattimore's injury happen live. And it was one of the most disturbing injuries I've ever seen. It was sad seeing him retire so young when he was just a stud prior to the injury.
I know this is an older video but I really love this “where are they now” type content. So interesting and eye opening in regards to how difficult it truly is to make it to the league... no matter how highly touted some are out of high school.
You forgot about the dark horse of the recruiting class which is a Running Back that was a standout player on my high school team. His name is Patrone Wood & just imagine a player with the size of Jerome Bettis wrecking through high school defenses...he was overlooked because he chose to play for a D2 school instead of going to a D1..man was built different
@@teen_laqueefa He commited to a private school called Seton Hill university in Pennsylvania cause it fit his academic interests better & since he was huge for a RB, they moved him to DT where he was average at best since he was only 5’11 & 250ibs. He ultimately lost his passion for football cause he didn’t really wanna play DT & just focused on getting his degree. Now he’s a digital Video Engineer & a music producer & works in sales too.
Chromes disease is so painful. My cousin has it. He was in so much pain, during his own mother’s funeral, he had to go home, because he couldn’t handle the physical and emotional pain.
Marcus Lattimore is actually now going back to school to study sports psychology. I'm studying the same thing so we keep in touch, I met him at practice last year at my college. He was supposed to go to France this year to study but COVID happened. Great guy and such a lost talent in the field
I graduated in the class of 2010. I was a 5’11 285 DT from a shitty school in VA. I didn’t have any offers coming out of HS due to being undersized and underexposed even though I could ball with the best of them. Having mediocre grades and no full ride anywhere I went to Juco. I played for one season and I hated it. I decided to quit football and focus on a more realistic career choice because football was disappointing for me. 10 years later, I’m 190 lbs, have 2 degrees, working on my Phd, own everything and don’t have any serious injuries. I still sometimes think about my football days and feel like I should’ve went D1 and made it to the NFL but I guess everything happens for a reason.
I don’t even follow nfl or football at all but I still watch both yours and flemlo’s channel because both of you upload banger videos every time🔥🔥🔥 Nice to hear the two of you have a podcast !!!
Great video KTO! You could do this either from the 1990 or 2000 all the way up! These are my favorite videos of yours (and what college football loook like in 200XX)
Darick was my roommate at Tennessee and still one of my best friends to this day. I played a lot of football with a lot of big time players and Darick is the best receiver if not the best football player I’ve ever seen. I played with Devante Parker at Louisville, he ended up going first round and he wasn’t even in the same league as Darick. I just wish he could’ve stayed out of trouble so everyone else could see too. He wasn’t a bad dude or a bad student…he just loved weed.
Darick was my roommate at UT freshman and sophomore year. Still the best football player I’ve ever seen on a field. Also, it’s pronounced Duh-Rick. Great vid
Since recruiting rankings started in 2001 and when Chris leak was the first to do the hat thing at the all american bowl and pick Florida you guys should do every year that have done recruiting rankings and how the guys worked out like the russell Sheppards and Michael Dyer's and alvin Kamaras ones who all had weird routes and roller coaster success
I played football at MBHS with everette golson my senior year, dude was one of the best QB I ever got to play with and he was definitely one hell of a basketball player and some of the guys played against lattimore the previous year in 2009 and my boa Lex popped his was coming up the middle
I remember that UF class. Still one of, if not, the highest rated class since there has been a recruiting system. That class was filthy based on star power, but was a gigantic letdown. Like all of them, I was a 2010 graduate. My class is still waiting for its delayed 10 yr reunion (thanks Covid). EDIT: He wasn't in the video but was a top recruit in the 2010 class, but Michael Dyer is from my home state and was named the top high school player of the year in the state during our senior year. I’m an SC fan and Marcus was so good I have been to every home game since I was 3 so 14 years now and he was so good he had his future rlly ripped from his hands

I loved watching Marcus Lattimore. It broke my heart when his career essentially ended because of his injury. He had greatness written all over him
You, me, and the entirety of South Carolina
Was at the game vs Tennessee when i was 12 years old. Haven’t heard a football crowd that quiet since…
Remember seeing grown ass men and women crying. I was essentially too young to know what was going on but i knew it was very very bad
This may be the most depressing Top 10 recruits from a class of all time. Feel bad for most of these guys. Football does not love you back.
Damn, we’ll said
Hey Seantrel is my cousin! I knew he played football at that level but I never knew he was a 5 star recruit in high school.
He’s back boys
Could you do one on 1990s top recruits
