🎞️ Movie Description:
Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious - and notoriously fashionable - villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.
Disney’s “Cruella” is directed by Craig Gillespie (“I Tonya”) from a screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara, story by Aline Brosh McKenna and Kelly Marcel & Steve Zissis. It was produced by Andrew Gunn (“Freaky Friday”), Marc Platt (“Mary Poppins Returns”) and Kristin Burr (“Christopher Robin”), with Emma Stone, Michelle Wright, Jared LeBoff and Glenn Close serving as executive producers. Two-time Oscar®- winning costume designer Jenny Beavan (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “A Room with a View”) creates the dazzling and imaginative costumes, which take on a life of their own.

Little known "fact" : the Baroness had another child with another man and that child grew up to be Miranda the editor in chief of fashion magazine, Runway.
…wait really?
Runaway 💀
Lol....nice connection
Tea
Devil wears prada? 😂👍🏻
That "I've done it again" =really bothered me...ik this happens in the real world but it just makes me wonder how many designers are actually still in business due to their own ideas and not just who they hire
Unfortunately, those that make lots of money turn out to be excessively greedy. Those of us that are humble have a little more gratitude for what we have and anything we can get, whether seen as valuable to the rich or no, we value what we are given, as well as what we earn. That's just the way it is.
They hire them and pay them, they provide the resources and all the things that would make it possible, and the employees work voluntarily. That's just business.
But I get it, that phrase was totally selfish. And you really shouldn’t take something that isn’t yours.
Baroness is a malignant narcissist. Believe me, they are worse than what have been depicted in this movie. In fact, they can say and do worse than that.
@@franckattede4046 yes,true that.
@@franckattede4046 That's scary. Hope I don't meet one.
It's too bad they were enemies, they worked really well together and cruella was seemingly the only person the baroness actually admired/liked.
fr i kinda hoped that she will continue working with baroness forever
@@wandasairconditioner4781 spoilers:
She did kill her adoptive mother
@@Stellvesterr__ i watched the movie lol
She only liked what she could achieve with Cruella. She never saw her as a human but a valuable possession like that necklace around her neck.
@@ragenewilliams7267 she admired her intelligence and talent. You could see her softening and beginning to become friends with her but she figured the cruella thing out pretty quickly
Ever since I saw the movie, I thought this dress was AMAZING. I searched up the person who was in charge of the dresses, and I think Jenny beavan did AMAZING on all the dresses!
ikr!! It was so amazing and I love the concert part.. It all was iconic
Jenny Beavan - instagram.com/jennybeavandesigns/ 💋🖤
Hello cruella i see your reply 6 hours :) yes! (i mean i see your reply..im happy its 6 hours did that make sense..but im happy that i see your reply 6 hours)
Edit: i mean hello emma stone:)
Where can I watch this movie
@@sarashabir8874 well personally, I use soap2day because I'm poor
This idea was diabolical! Baroness never saw it coming!
How could she, she was too busy patting her own back to notice Ella doing anything
The best dress gets the worsest nightmare....wonderful
I know right
No one saw it coming!
I never saw it coming 😹
This should be nominated and win for best costume design at the Oscars because all the designs are masterpieces
Wait for the Haus of Gucci
@@arieli8338 If the teaser is any indication, the costumes should be great but nowhere near this level or even "Spencer"/"The French Dispatch".
EXACTLY! 😊
Well they won🥳🏆
If you think about it, this is the only time they have a heart-to-heart as mother and daughter without them realizing it
Ok pe do
@@captaindesperatehousewife7138 ok ignorant bigot :)
@@IvanIsYda_
🤯 Wow, you got my argument destroyed by those words, how can I live with myself now that the open-minded pe do denies me from acceptance?! 😰😰😱😱😭😭😭
@@captaindesperatehousewife7138 you should read more book, you basement dweller.
Like mother like daughter I see.
knowing that that dress is made of bugs is giving me the heebie jeebies even though I know it's just that scene.
Can you imagine posing on the red carpet in that dress, then the bugs hatch and crawl all over the wearer?
@@voxnocturne 😰😰😰 new fear has awakened 😨
@@voxnocturne it would have been moths flying out of their cocoons. It probably would have been so pretty actually.
@@voxnocturne pretty sure that wouldn't happen, since it was probably only their exoskeletons she was sewing onto the dress, their outer shells. No designer would ever use anything that's actually alive on or in their dresses, it would defeat the purpose of the clothing item, something alive can't be worn without a lot of risk of death or injury.
@@brittanylehman5104 have you watched the movie?
Little did she know, that dress was gonna come to life.
🥁🥁🐍
Literally
How did Cruella sew the moth cocoons securely to the dress? she would have had to penetrate each cocoon, most likely killing the moth?
@@Circa1628 the cocoons had a tail (possibly the end of a leaf or twig or whatever the attached themselves onto) and she used that to attach them to the dress, I believe
@@IvanIsYda_ I love us for overthinking this.
Honestly, the costume designers in this film deserve the Oscar. The looks made for this movie were speechless. That dress in particular, I was speechless when I saw it.
But she did. Jeanne B (the custom designer), had 2 oscars for best custome under her belt.
@@nfspbarrister5681 Well she deserves another for this film. Such talent. I would pay money for that dress versus the stuff you see from fashion designers nowadays.
They would've made a great mother-daughter relationship if it weren't for the baroness' selfish greed
Right? Literally a killer duo
This movie better be awarded for BEST COSTUME DESIGN in the upcoming Academy Awards! 🔥💅
#Update: THEY WON! 🥰
@J J Maybe in the sequel???
I agree so much 😍😍 they have great fashion 😍
Why? They are all wretched trash!
Really want that. Jenny Beavan is a magician.
Honestly, this movie has the best designs than most of the galas or runway....
Honestly, find yourself someone who looks at you the way the Baroness looks at the dress from 0:58 to 1:16... I don't know what Emma pictured there, but it fecking worked! XD
That is some acting. A concise illustration of what all the Emma Thomson hype is about.
Everyone talking about The Baroness reaction but I'm living for the assistants reaction. He was so flawed he couldn't even keep his eyes off the dress. This was such a great movie, the fashion, music and plot was all spot on!!!
Jenny Beavan is a 2x Oscar Winner for Costume Design, she'll probably get her 3rd next year with this.
I think they gave the costume designers full creative controll and said do whatever. And the creative flood gates were open
I absolutely love Emma's chuckle at the end before the scene closes. Every little thing she did in this movie spoke volumes. What a brilliant actor she is. I hope she is awarded enough for this role. It was brilliant!
oh but the sweetest part is when she joke around and said “thank you the most handsome delivery man”
The fact that she hand sewed those beads makes it all the better. Like wow the genius that she had in fashion and in getting her own back…no spoilers but if you know you know. Especially since she kept saying it’s her design. 😂
1:10
Me turning in a group project that I didn’t help or contribute to
Bruh 😂💀
I CACKLED
This is the only scene in the movie where Baroness shows more than just contempt - she is genuinely awestruck.
The cork hit was so iconic 🍾🍾🍾
“Most handsome delivery man” Awwwww
Lmfao her ‘ugh-laugh’ when the waiter get hit with the cork… always gets me.😭🤣
I love the raw emotion in this movie the acting is so remarkably rewarding for Cruella’s character
That dress is both a statement and a weapon. Brilliant!!!
I hope this film will wins 🏆 academy awards for costume designs.
Let me get something abundantly clear, I don't know the first thing about fashion I'm perfectly happy to walk around In joggers and oversized t-shirts with movie quotes on them all day. But I have to say the outfits in this we're stunning props to all the costume designers in this film for making it look stunning by far the best outfits in these live action Disney remakes/reboots from the last decade or so know.
That dress is gorgeous, I like how they oriented the beads/chrysalis' so they change shade depending on orientation
When that cork hit the waiter in the face! That was priceless 😂
The most beautiful dress of the movie… was never worn!
It looks so tiny! I know that models are small but I feel like it would be hard to find someone to wear it.
Cruella’s fire dress was the prettiest in my opinion.
@@HauntFreak13 Good for you lol
I thought they were implying the baroness was going to wear it for that show..though I do agree...its meant for a very slim figure..
This movie is a masterpiece. This was WOW! Every costume was insane but this one was wow 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I like the lighting on the dress it’s so subtle you don’t really notice it and it makes the beading look like it’s shimmering almost
Our first time watching this, my family LOVED the dress and thought it was gorgeous, which it was, but I just couldn’t help but feel itchy looking at it bc the beads kept reminding me of cocoons. They all thought I was crazy but boy the reveal was so satisfying to watch! It was definitely very foreshadowed but the I told you so moment felt good. 😅😂
you are a genius for knowing it before the reveal!
I love how Cruella just pulls up and FLEXES and then leaves 😆 🤣
I liked this dress before the beading. That print was amazing.
I thought the other dresses were amazing after the moths ate part of them. It was shredded chic
The bottle scene gets me everytime 😂
Love is like a violin
It has its strings around
Your heart
Estella works very hard
To make the hearts of others grow
That dress is really stunning... ✨
Hands down Emmas best role, next to maniac.
Loved her in Easy A but damn she can do much more
1:36 though 🤣🤣
Wow, that remind me of my manager when he stole my work and put his name on it
I love the outfits. The comedies are hilarious. This nominated to Oscar. Luv u Emma Stone
'I've done it again... I need a drink' jajaja buena escena.
This...the scene of both of them finally spending time and "bonding" as ironically mother and daughter
For the first time and last
I absolutely love this dress from Cruella
I thought they looked like bugs, and they turned out to be fricken cocoons
Can someone please PLEASE remake this dress and sell it it is just like 🤩 I can’t even explain it
What is cool is that Estrella has always different outfits.... Like all the other workers are in white coat instead her. She is one day a leather dress, then the big tie, the heels ❤️❤️
Also her school uniform...she dresses like a main character and everyone just rolls with it 😂
the part where the waiter cant open the bottle and the baroness does it and it hits the waiter's eye, it was so funny
The assistant was my favorite
I watched this movie because I figured my wife and daughter would like it. They did and I also thought it was great. Really surprised me. Great movie!
Best costume design plus best actress
Fun fact decorating clothing with insect parts was quite popular in the victorian era
The dress looked nice even before it got the beads. The material looked pretty.
I’m kinda sad cause though the looks in this movie is so STUNNING. None of them really reflect who Cruella De Vil truly is a fur maniac that many has shown in the of novel and movies. I kinda wish they incorporate more fur to the costumes the only way that I can love the closet choice for the character is by thinking it is Cruella in a different universe like how I think of how I watch the actual movie
Edit: ok then for anyone that is gonna comment on this saying how this is a reimagining of the character, then yes I KNOW that I’m no idiot, but is it just me or is this Cruella might be into leather and skin instead of fur
Isn’t this movie a prequel ? Before her fur days. I thought this was telling the story of how she came to be Cruella. We haven’t seen her gone mad over the fur yet
@@eja5483 yes it is, however, in the og novel it is stated that she was already a fur obsessed maniac
This isn't a prequel, it's a retelling with Cruella as an anti-hero instead of an antagonist. You can't really make someone anything other than a vile antagonist if she wants to kill puppies for their fur.
She even gifts some Dalmatians to her friend and the dude whose supposed to represent the couple from 101 Dalmatians in the end, she's not going to show up later wanting to kill their puppies for fur. It's just a different story entirely
@@kojoe27 I know it’s not like I can’t tell, I said I watched the film as though it’s from a different “universe” and I acknowledge that. However, it doesn’t mean what they did to the character is good.
In my opinion this movie should’ve been an entirely different film of its own, the story and characters could’ve easily been told in by itself no need to base it on anything. This to me they used the Cruella name to get more views in order to get more money, if you really think about it this film by itself was good but because this is a Cruella De Vil film it doesn’t really fit
@@khahuynh6689 yeah🤔 you kinda have a decent point. Keep in mind though disney is know for messing things up😂😂😂
1:39 i love estellas reaction lmao 🤣
I watched this movie 9x and it's all time favorite they did a great job making this movie
I love that dress like idk why its beautyfull
My jaws dropped to the floor when she said “ I’ve don’t it again.” 😂😂😂😂
Now this dress should of been at the met gala 2021
More like Cruella done it again and a toast to her and for her hard work as a fashion designer
Now that is what I call a Trojan Horse.
*moth
Thomson deserves an Oscar!
My fav part
👵 : I'ts
👩🦰 : Stunning
👵 : 😐
That dress is gorgeous ❤️
Stunning!
That dress though 😍
Iconic, really.
This better clean up at all the award shows - Best Actress Emma Stone, Best Supporting Actress Emma Thompson, Best Music, Best Cinematography and absolutely without a doubt best costume and set design - they have the most incredible phenomenal collection of clothing and set design pieces - the level of effort and excellence placed into each intricate individual design is breathtaking. The Devil is in the detail 😉 😈
Jenny Bevan and her incredible team better get an award she was INCREDIBLE
Oh Stella you're truly a masterpiece darling.😃
Idk why i expected the baroness to notice how estella was handling the glass wine the same she saw cruella did on the party before
Loved that part
I might as well watch this movie again as many times as I watch these vids 😂
I was so shocked at how good this movie was lol
Damn thats stunning dress, hope thia fashion makes it's way around hollywood cause some of these designs are stunning
Would love to see Emma Stone wear this dress on the red carpet something
1:38 OMG
I love when she open the bottle of champagne 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm like her no passion 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I love it omg hilarious..🇺🇸🇺🇸🇧🇷🇧🇷
How she sew them on with out killing them? I wanna know the technique. Not that I'm going to be swing sleepy caterpillars to my dresses.
1:11 as a designer when she said that I got more furious than Cruella literally
I love the dress design
This is such an amazing movie!!!
That's our girl. Playing chess when everyone else is playing checkers.
Omg your gonna make me watch Cruella again lol
Something was just so satisfying in this scene.
Underrated movie.
Love this movie so much
The poor waiter when he got hit in the eye 🤣🥲
I wish this Disney's villain film will nominate both Emma to the Emmy (my wishful thinking)
Emma Thompson is more evil as the baroness than Emma stone is as cruella both ladies deserve credit for making this movie so enjoyable
To think this dress turns out to be best joke estella/cruella did to her mother
if only the baroness wasn't a psychopathic narcissist, she would've made a great mentor for Cruella.
I freaking love this movie 🍿
No lies here , absolutely gorgeous dress
Nanny Mcphee is really stunning 😂🥰
Lowkey i like the dress when it got destroyed
Amazing movie
