Thank you Donna! Beautifully done! I am not good at matching the colors of the paint and the rice paper. I purchased some stipple brushes, they work really well, but I guess I don't have the eye for mixing the colors just right. I'll keep trying! I'm practicing on tiles before I attempt the square plates.
Hi Merry my friend! Thanks so much! Here's a good rule to go by when mixing paint colors. Analyze if the color you need to match is cool or warm. Cool would be blue and gray undertones. Warm would be orange and gold undertones. If your paint is warm and you need it to be cool, add a little gray or blue. If your paint is cool and you need it to be warm, add a little yellow. That usually does the trick. You can add black or white to lighten or darken your hue. Here's another trick, if your color doesn't match exactly bring it farther into the rice paper design and it will blend in and look like it should be that way. Just keep practicing, you'll get it down, I have faith in you! Let me know if you ever have any questions or need help. Thanks for always watching and sending me messages 🤗💖

I have begun decorating the back of my plates (inspired by you) with stencils, sponge painting, and /or complimentary decopauge paper if I cannot get the beautiful finishes that you make look so effortless........maybe help for other crafters that are challenged.

How about a reverse decoupage VASE using napkins for the images? Your techniques are a little different from others doing reverse decoupage on UA-cam. I would like to see how you would use the water spritz w/plastic wrap. Thank you!
