Wow... you guys/gals really GET Nature... I am 61 YO and LOVED Jacques Crusteau, Wild Kingdom and the other only available windows to the world of nature in those days. You take it to new levels and thank you so much!!!! And BTW: Your video production quality is top-shelf!
It is Cousteau not Crustreau. 😊
Was a big fan until he died. I learn a lot because of him.
Thanks! That's a huge compliment.
The Coral Snake disproves “Red touch black, friend to Jack.”
There are many coralsnakes around the world, and basically once you leave the southeastern US, the rhyme is dangerously useless.

Thank you for letting us share this experience, especially your joy in discovering amazing creatures!
Looks like a blast! And great diversity of wildlife and mushrooms. The Bushmaster was actually quite placid for a giant venomous snake.
Marissa, thank you for the tour of the camp! I had a similar tour via a bug & spider FB channel, a MS then PhD fantastic woman who also went to the Amazon research station studying spiders (& sharing other critters).❤ & in really appreciate seeing lots of frogs, toads, lizards, etc., as well as snakes & caiman!!
You’re very welcome. I know I like to see those kinds of things to get the full experience.
I’m SO appreciative of you filming for us and for how upbeat everyone is! I doubt I would ever go there, but I love seeing jungle. It’s like summer camp for adults!
Amazing trip, loved to see Flat Jeff getting to partake in the fun! I had to laugh with the first Dipsas snake and Brian says "no shit", first thought was Dipsas Shit. LOL Is Marissa now Queen of the dart frogs as well? Looking forward to the next installment, thanks for sharing as always!
Ha ha flat Jeff thats hilarious. Oh I like! I’ll take Queen of the dart frog, I’d probably take queen of anything though 😂
Totally enjoyed the video. Love a cheerful moderator!
Wow!! I missed the 1st part, going to watch replay. BUSHMASTER BRYAN!! Huge! Thank goodness your compadres were within shouting distance!! Loved all the mix of environments, so many fascinating creatures!! And I am glad you clearly showed the challenges & discomfort, as well as the many dangers & amazing discoveries.
I've always felt odd watching the very heavily edited & "sanitized" videos of exploration. Of course there are many challenges, bitey/stingy things, some relatively benign, in small amounts.
Anyway, as always, THANK YOU, BRYAN & ALL RSS TEAM ! & families, who have a different experience!
Blessings.
(Hi, Marissa, from your old lady fan in Ventura County, CA. So happy you had such an amazing experience. RESPECT for you.)
Thank you!! 😊 It was so amazing.
The animals are always awesome, but Cardboard Jeff is the BEST! 🤣🤣🤣
Cardboard Jeff looks like he had a great time!
Good day, oh my so fantastic video. It was crazy cool. Thank you very much. Everyone did a fantastic job. Crazy! Please more videos.
What a great trip and collection of footage. It felt like I was truly there. Marissa is great on camera and her enthusiasm leaps off the screen. And happy birthday Bryan. What a great way/place to have one. Some exotic, far-off land with good friends. And a surprise cake, which, yeah….the last thing you’d expect there! Awesome. I’m in the suburbs of Chattanooga, developed as it gets, and I didn’t get a cake on MY birthday a few weeks ago!! 😂
You always say the nicest things. Thank you for always watching and commenting. And about the cake, they just whipped that thing together like they had a full store available. Plus it was on limited power, these people were pretty amazing.
You’re welcome. You guys stay safe…Phoenix or otherwise. People who know their way around a kitchen and know how to whip up something from scratch like that are so impressive to me. I’ll follow/watch this channel as long as it exists. 🐍😊

Bryan, you scare the living crap out of me going that far into the jungle at night!
I will do deserts and forests, but not jungles or swamps. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks for posting and glad you had a good time
What an awesome adventure. Have been so looking forward to these videos. Can’t wait for part two.
Love seeing all the little poison dart frogs. Jeff was way too close to that Fer-de-lance. Glad he didn't get bit. 12:57
Awesome! What a fun adventure!
I loved the arts carrying the leaves. So cute. Marrisa I loved how excited you got over EVERYTHING ❤. Happy birthday Brian what a way to spend your birthday ❤ . Me I would have wanted to stay back at the hotel when yall first arrived sitting by the pool with a drink 🍸 in my hand 😅. Great video can't wait to watch the second one.
I spent a month in Belize and didn't find a single snake. 😢 I should've gone further south. 😂
Everything I had hoped for! That Bushmaster was awesome and scary. Going from the Arizona desert to the Amazon jungle is a hard ask on a human. Poor kidnneys don't know what to do. Great video.
What an incredible trip this has to have been. Congrats on finding your first bushmaster alone Bryan.
The Bushmaster was gorgeous 😍
Great job on the video Edit Jeff. Looked like an amazing trip. All there animals and insect are so beautiful and different compared to here. The colors of the snakes and frogs are incredible!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRYAN!! 🐍
Amazing finds!
Awesome video guys!
My fear level of snakes has gone down tremendously since watching your channel for about a year. I find it amazing that you intentionally walk in their area (water) without a moments hesitation. I would still be scared sh*tless.
To be honest, the Bushmaster and also the Gaboon Viper are the most intimidating snakes. A rattlesnake shows you exactly what's going on. These two species, and also a few others, are just laying there and you never know what's next. Luckily the Bushmasters are pretty laid back and not defensive, most of the time. Amazing vlog as always👍💯
The coastal taipan says "hold my beer".
@@user-pj5ub5cp9k Nah, the coastal taipan is a pretty active snake. And when they get defensive, you will notice that behaviour.
@TheGForceJunkie You said intimidating. I wouldn't call a death adder intimidating, unless you stepped on one.
@@user-pj5ub5cp9k Yeah that's right, because of their nearly motionless behaviour. When a taipan is angry and ready to strike, you will see it. The death adder is a good example, what i mean. No warning signals, just an incredible fast strike. But that's just my opinion, other snakes are also highly intimidating.
@@TheGForceJunkie I lived with snakes for so long an old piece of hose pipe on the ground is intimidating at first glance.
Great footage! Very good job guys!
I really appreciate your explanation About the relationship of the locals and Fer de Lance, I totally agree with your assessment, I have noted that even in the red desert I'm not beyond putting a rattle snake on the dinner plate if it's more reasonable in the immediate situation though I would prefer to have a professional relocate them. By the way if I remember high-school Spanish correctly bird should be pajaro
Mouse opossum ❤❤❤
Amazing! I was under the impression bushmasters are nearly impossible to find- are they common enough there you would expect to see one on a trip like this?
The amazon is my favorite place on the planet, back in 2009 i spent a week at a place called Sacha lodge in Ecuador which was just off the Rio Napo across the river from yasuni national park. I've dreamed of going back ever since but I've always assumed it was out of my price range.
Recently I've become obsessed with Madre Silva, which is literally off the Amazon itself! Not far after the Rio Napo meets up with it. You guys are so incredibly lucky!
I found out about you because I've been listening to all of Mike Pingleton's podcast episodes, and now my dreams are back in the Amazon submerged in that incredible biodiversity!
Do you know how i can get an estimate for what a trip to Madre Silva with my kids would cost? Knowing that would make it easier for me to plan for a future trip.
That was cool
Y’all need a show on Animal Planet
Aquatic coral snake and a young helicops angulatus! 33:53
Jill! 1:22
27:02 - Heheh. XD For future reference, it's "pajaro." 🐦
oh ya haha we know, it became a theme for the trip. Every bird is "pollo?" haha
You should use gloves while handling amphibians, and i hope that you are NOT using sunscreen or repellent. Because if you do, those frogs must be dead right now.
Obviously not using those.
That's terrible
Super video !!!!
