I like how, in attacking Steve Irwin, PETA has just made everyone remember how much they love him and he's seen a resurgence in popularity. Rest in peace, Steve. I grew up watching you and I'm glad you aren't forgotten.
Yea my mum loved watchin him..
Wait he died how?
@@mystical5423 a sting-ray pierced his heart while diving.
Technically he bled to death, as the camera crew he was with were amateurs and panicked. They removed the stinger, instead of leaving it in, which MAY have allowed him to survive. Probably not (heart stabbing never good), but...there you go.
Bigkhi Bigjenks He died 13 years ago
I would like to give thanks to the Irwin family and definitely to Steve. Steve’s legacy is one that I was able to grow up and watch as a kid. He made me interested in animals to this day.
The popularity and views his videos continue to get even after death, just goes to show how special and loved he was and still is.He absolutely wanted to make an impact and help educate the world about the importance of conservation and how special our planet is and he's definitely accomplished it. We could all hope to make a positive impact for others

Steve started my appreciation for animals and wildlife when I was little.
This guy was so awesome.
He just loved his job and took so many risks handling some of the deadliest creatures on earth.
What an amazing person.
I was about 17 years old when he died. I cried that day I heard the news. He was indeed brilliant, and very intune with nature. He can track a snake. That's pretty incredible at it's own.

RIP Steve. The World lost a great guy with his passing. Gone much too soon. What a wealth of knowledge and compassion he had. We are so lucky he shared so much with us. He is missed.
Im happy his kids share his passion for wild animals and kept his sanctuary open and are following in his footsteps. RIP Steve
steve irwin is the only guy that could have walked in my backyard, just waved to my kids and gotten under my house, no questions asked
If he'll visit my house then I'll run because he's a ghost now 🙂

Of course!
@Fortnite Legends USA What he has done for animal conservation across the world is more than you'll ever do in your worthless life. You have done absolutely nothing for animals compared to this guy.

Did this show up in recommended for anyone else after the peta thing? Or it just me lol. Rip Stevo ya legend 🙏

I wish there was a petition to put Steve's face on one of the Australian notes, I'd sign it
I would
He should have his face on at least one piece of currency in every nation due to the number of hearts he touched and minds he opened, this man was a god among mortal men, wise and kind, and seeing his family continue on with his mission of not only protecting the wonderful (and dangerous) creatures of the earth while also enlightening everyone they can and showing them that even the most dangerous creature is a thing of beauty and is to be respected and admired, (from a safe distance)
I wouldn't
Carrot Nose why not ?
Currency is something that should be special to the nation. I love Steve Erwin, but as an American I do not want non Americans on our currency.

I am french and this is the first time I watch a Steve Irwin video. Now I am going to watch them all and show them to all of my friends ! Such a great dude !
Actually kind of happy about the blunder that PETA did, now Steve gets even more coverage and people can fondly remember his legacy.
Honor in a nuthshell
Peta could have PRAISED him to raise awareness, not insult him
@@ballroombird6379 No one's saying it was a good move at all. But since we can't erase PETA's ill-advised actions, we should be thankful that at least Steve is getting the coverage and praise he deserved from sensible people around the world due to the attention this whole shebang created.

Hi I like your channel and you are the new Steve Irwin
I was watching your video before I clicked on this one😂
I think Steve Irwin would cry over what's happening to Australian wildlife with all these wildfires.
I imagine there being a separate heaven for all animals, and Steve taking them all in to comfort and care for them. ❤
900 million animals dead.
He would be proud of his kids and wife saving and helping as many animals they could tho. I’m praying for them and Australia. 🇦🇺

Props to Irwin for doing this, but can we just take a minute to appreciate the cameraman who came along with him?

You forgot the most deadly snake in existence
PETA
Come now, no need to insult snakes like that.
Don't say that. That's just insulting to snakes and any other reptiles.
They are not any animal they are not any human they...
They are absolute dimwitted idiots who shall not be respected!
Марио Христов , worst than that, they’re like fucking flat earther bad
Despite me being scared of danger noodles I wouldn’t insult them by putting PETA in that category.
It's a miracle he lived as long as he did!
47:39 I swear, the way that Taipan slithers up to and then takes a moment to think about Steve makes me wonder if her own thought process is something along the lines of "Oh my god, IT'S HIM! I cannot wait to tell all of my friends this, they're going to be SO JEALOUS!". Even a snake can be a fangirl, perhaps!
But on a serious note, man this will never fail to make me miss Steve Irwin. Such a unique individual that was such a blessing for both us and of course, the animal kingdom. Man, I wish I could've met him and boy does this take me back to when watching The Crocodile Hunter could make any situation I was dealing with feel less heavy.
