This is one of those rare movies lifted from mediocrity by two Fosters. I sometimes forget just how beautiful Jodie Foster was in her early years, clearly established here in this climactic scene. David Foster's love song at this critical moment in the movie and the nostalgic flashbacks is ingenius.
This is an awesome movie, and what a beautiful song. David Foster is an amazing musician, and Marilyn Martin is just an added bonus. I never get sick of this movie or song. Please everybody enjoy it.

However, is it just me, or does it also strike one as "odd, or awkward," that David & Marilyn never hold hand, or loop arms as they stroll through the field, or walk on the beach? Can't help think this video with a romantic song playing looks odd with some sense of physical contact?
