This is an awesome movie, and what a beautiful song. David Foster is an amazing musician, and Marilyn Martin is just an added bonus. I never get sick of this movie or song. Please everybody enjoy it.
This is one of those rare movies lifted from mediocrity by two Fosters. I sometimes forget just how beautiful Jodie Foster was in her early years, clearly established here in this climactic scene. David Foster's love song at this critical moment in the movie and the nostalgic flashbacks is ingenius.

Thank you for adding this. All of the original music in this film is great. (I know david foster now'a'days sounds "Over produced", but production aside the songs still stand strong on their own.) The film is great for those who have not seen it. Proud to say I caught it in the theaters.

the actual term Sea Smoke occurs when the air is really cold and the water is just above freezing. Often seen in winter on the coast of Maine or Canadian Maritimes or even upper Great Lakes. Yes I do love the name.

Sadly the girl thing didn't work out (pla$tic surgery here i come). Now 36 and have been aching such for ... far too long. Take care of eachother and live the life that the others LONG for.
