Finally a video on videography that uses the medium efficiently and effectively. I didn't know that was even allowed. No manic effort to establish the presenter as funny and charming and the thing was three-quarters over by the time most people are getting started. And the movements involved are *motivated* movements pretty much and I didn't know that was allowed either. Bravo. Liked and subbed.
Hey mfreeman313, thank you so much for your comment, this is such a huge compliment! I really do try to create what I call 'Faff free content', meaning I just want to create videos that deliver valuable information without all the 'Faff'. Really glad you enjoyed the video, stay tuned for lots more faff free content coming soon :-)
@@LearnOnlineVideo great video!!!
what video editor did you use for video editing, please tell me ???
@mfreeman313, what is your meaning when you said: "And the movements involved are motivated movements pretty much"? Are you talking about the transitions or the content of gimbal movements? Thanks!
@@tannermeade Sorry, I meant there's always a clear purpose to it that adds something. Too often I see constant movement for the sake of having movement. I'm not a big fan of that. Everything you do should make the video more meaningful. Just sliding the camera laterally toward no obvious goal on every single shot doesn't do that IMHO.
@@mfreeman313 Thanks -- I appreciate the reply! I make training videos for businesses and the feedback you gave was high-value. So I wanted to understand it better and adapt my methods.
Much appreciated man! Short & straight to the point
Hands down the best demo of basic gimble movement. Appreciated!!
Thanks Darren, this is great feedback.Definitely going to be doing a follow up video to this one covering more intermediate/advanced techniques, I’m sure you’ll find that video useful to 🎥👌thanks again
Great love the video
One of the best yet short (condensed) tutorial on gimball ever! 👍🏻
Thanks so much Luca Loschi, I try to keep my tutorials as condensed as possible or ‘Faff free’ as I like to call them 😀 lots more to content on the way so stay tuned.
@@LearnOnlineVideo Got a new subscribed 👍🏼
Straight to the point, simple (though not necessarily easy) and effective moves, love it!
Your gimbal movement is amazing, except that sensor dust.
Keep up with the wonderful work.
I made a school boy error, please don’t judge me 😄 Rule No.1 ALWAYS check your sensor before a shoot....thankfully this wasn’t a paid gig. Thanks for watching
@@LearnOnlineVideo on push and pull how do push or pull focus since you are changing distance to the subject? Or are you shooting at a high f stop? If so which f stop do you recommend?
Great question Varoujan Daniel Messier, I very rarely shoot at a low aperture when using a gimbal for exactly that reason. With shots like this I tend to shoot at around 17mm anywhere between f10-f14. Hope this helps 👍
@@LearnOnlineVideo thank you so much for your help
Varoujan Daniel Messier you’re very welcome my friend 👌🎥
You are simple but profound with your style. I love watching and sharing your videos

Thanks Wild Rose DIY, ‘clear and concise’ is my thing, I’m glad you like this style. Lots more on the way 👌
Everyone loves a good, crisp and to-the-point video. No bullshit, no beating around the bush, just pure content. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much Nishant, No bullshit content is what I pride myself in. The quicker I can help people learn the better, I like to think I specialise in 'Faff Free Content' :-) Lots more on the way.

The hero we need.
Well suerizes
@@LearnOnlineVideo already did thank u!
Straight to the point! No silly nonsense!
Thank you
The orbit (point of interest) is my fav!
One of my faves to 👌🎥
Mine too! How do you lock it in that position? (My Osmo 3 arrived yesterday!)
Hans S set your gimbal to ‘locking mode’ 👌
👍
Nice video. Straight to the point and no bloating used
Thanks Steve - great shots. I'm thinking how I would incorporate these into driver education videos. All the best, Cheers Rick

Welcome to the 'Notification squad' Ja. Thanks for subscribing
Best video for beginners like myself...now practice practice practice...thanks so much
BONUS INFO & TIPS: When buying a gimbal, always ensure that the gimbal will easily hold the weight of your camera/set up that you are using. You don’t want your gimbal motors to be running at maximum capacity as this will drastically decrease its life span. This tutorial isn’t product specific though and these moves can be pulled off using just about any gimbal. Shot using the zhiyun crane 2 and Sony A6400
Hi, nice tutorial, any tips in regard to the settings in gimbal app? Like the tilt, pan, etc. Thanks a lot! 😁
This video's background music link please 🙏😁😢😢
Excellent and to the point. I saved this one under Best Videos so I can repeat watch until I memorize these cool moves.
Epic as always! Would love a tutorial on the titles where you introduce your name
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Will do a tutorial on lower thirds soon, got some ‘Advanced Framing & Composition Techniques’ coming up next. Stay tuned.
Wow. You don't waste 5 minutes of ur video talking about random stuff. You get straight to the point.
Clear and concise with ZERO Faff is my style :-) lots more on the way!
Phenomenal! ...I don’t know what else to say but two things: 1) I will try to find an old bldg ruin similar to the one you filmed and in a safe place for filming; 2) This video should have a few hundred thousand views...I’m on board to learn more. Be well.
Thank you so much PowerForward, positive comments like this are so encouraging and just make me want to create more content to help people learn. Thank you for your kind words and enthusiasm for learning more about video. LOADS more content on the way, watch this space 🎥😀
Straight to the point. Excellent. How all videos should be. Thumbs up!
for the pull-back tilt down shot in 2:40, you can prevent any accidents by just shooting the footage pushing forward, and then reversing the footage in your editing software, it would end up creating the same result
Subscribed. I’ve watched a few videos lately, and you are consistently one of the best! Thank you!
I would love to be your intern for short time.
Tricks are amazing.
Hi Parth, i'm so glad you enjoyed this video and I love your enthusiasm to learn! Unfortunately i'm not looking for interns at the moment but its definitely something I wold like to do in the future. Keep in touch my friend. Thanks
I always watch ur videos 5 to 6 times. And starts practicing.
It's a good tutorial I really appreciate, then a question after I read your Tips, how is the payload max of the gimbal example 1.2 kg, then use a mirrorless with weight 1 kg, those motor gimbal will running at maximum?
Waiting for next video gimbal movement for make a short cinematic with human object 🙏
Thank you very much
Looks like he’s 20 ft above the ground. That lens must make a difference
All shot with the Sony E 16-50mm lens @16mm, an incredibly cheap lens (link in description).Hope this helps.
Learn Online Video cool thanks man
Honestly this is my favorite channel on UA-cam!!!
As somebody who is just starting out, this is extremely useful for me. You don't blab on unnecessarily, you get to the point. Thank you, liked and subbed.
Not blabbing on is my thing, I call this 'Faff Free Content" ;-)
very good job.
