Great video Sean. I’ve just started making real estate videos and using a Sony a7iii and Weebill-S. great to have a Cape Town based UA-camr sharing the knowledge.
I just got a gimbal. So, your ideas (and especially how well you show us how you did them) was very helpful! As for the jib shot, I think that I will try reversing that. Move towards the talent during the shooting then reverse the clip in post. It just seems like that way I have more control of my movement and I don't have to keep checking behind me as I'm shooting.
I had my book and pen, and took some notes...all shots were great but what I noted was 1. Heal to toe walking technique, 2. Keeping subject on lata third while moving forward and 3. Having cam tilted up while doing a wrap... Brilliant and thank you! 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for making this video, I have just started working in videography outside of sport and this has helped me alot. I had to subscribe to you after seeing this.
If I balance the gimbal well for a 24mm zoom lens and want to switch to 70mm during filming, how do I do it? do i have to rebalance everything again to 70?
Great video and awesome ideas! Thanks for sharing... Just a minor commentary, please do level the volumen of the music with your voice's. I was using headphones and had a ear attack when the music started.
Thanks Sean! Your videos are truly amazing and you give a beginner like me so much inspiration to get out there and experiment. Always looking forward to your next video
thank you for those shot ideas! which framerates did you use mostly? especially for the speedramping shots and which timeline fps did you use then? thank you! (im a beginner)
You use autofocus for all of these besides the purposeful out of focus shot? I guess this could work if there was tracking focus. I'm nervous though that having it on auto would leave it focused on the wrong thing during shooting and I wouldn't notice until post.
Hey Guys, hope everyone is doing great! I wanted to ask for some advice about my next camera purchase, I'm thinking about the sony a7iii (I have a real estate agency in Italy and a winery) so I will use it mainly for videos of estates and obviously interior photography, so my questions are: which lens should I pick? and is the sony a7iii the best option? ( budget is nearly 3K)
Which is your favorite gimbal shot?

Great video Sean. I’ve just started making real estate videos and using a Sony a7iii and Weebill-S. great to have a Cape Town based UA-camr sharing the knowledge.
