Brilliant and comprehensive video - Incredible developments in Paradise - Tulum is growing responsibly with stunning design & city planning! Congratulations to all, great work
excellent video on Tulum progress and the jaguar park. now if tehy could just fix the beach roads, public parking and better free access to beaches Tulum will be an unbeatable location
Agreed 100% the same thing happened to Playa del Carmen more than a decade ago, it had a bunch of growing pains and now its a beautiful city, nothing is perfect but most of the pains have been resolved!
Wow 140,000 people per day? I'm trying to imagine what that feels like. Will it feel like a kind of Disney land superficial veneer over nature or will it be a beautiful integrated park experience...only time will tell. Is there an entrance fee? Curious
Thanks for the valuable content! Those are great plans for Tulum hopefully. Do you know what will happen to the beach accesses then? For example the acces to playa paraiso? Are we going to have to pay an entrance fee then to get to any beach in Tulum? That would be bad news on the other hand… 😅
You're welcome! I'm glad you found the content valuable. Regarding the beach accesses in Tulum, I don't have specific information yet, as of right now they changed the street to one way so you have to access from the Ruins and the direction goes down south to the fork in front of Kore Tulum hotel, public beaches are still free, I will let you know as soon as I know prices and fees!
The trains will run on electricty where there are no mountains and will use Low-sulfur diesel that Pemex will produce for the trains to have low pollution. As far as we know the beaches will have public access and the park will have a cost. We still don't know how much.
Tulum it will be a nice destiny, but it has a big problem, as a tourist if you want to go to the beach, you have to pay a lot to acces through a beach club, i hate that
I have to question why a new town development that prides itself on its green credentials needs an entirely new international airport (with multiple hectares of virgin forest cleared) when the new Tren Maya train service will conveniently link the town with the existing airport at Cancun.
I think it’s because Cancun’s internacional Airport is saturarted and doesn’t provide speed and efficiency and the other reason is because most tourists stay in Cancún and nearby areas. Personally, I would prefer few tourists in that area because of the environmental impact.
This park is so little for the amount of jungle that should be preserved. London has more green areas than Tulum! I know I contributed to the problem by buying a condo there. But what upsets me most is that developers are making a car-dependent zone all over the peninsula. Either that or they are sociopaths. It's like none of them have ever walked or used a bike in their whole lives so they have no clue how difficult it is to have giant curving streets with no outlets anywhere. I thought walking to Chedraui from Aldea Zama would be easy because Calle Juanek connects to Avenida Coba, but you can't because it's just muddy puddles and the area is used as a landfill for the homeless that live there. I swear Aldea Zama was designed by a drunk person - how in the world any government approved that mess is baffling. My biggest beef with those giant curved streets is that there are no bike lanes - in a town that is supposed to be bike-first! Bikes and pedestrians are constantly clashing for space, many streets have no sidewalks, and if they do they do not connect. Oh and what about that fake-rock looking stamped concrete which only serves to make your car and bike rides bumpy! Who was the genius who thought of that? I am so tired of seeing new developments where there are no sidewalks and they are not building parking for their cars so you know they will end up on the road, where bikes are supposed to go instead.
Gladlocks‘ commentary is actually right and shows how he is doubtfully concerned what‘s happening at Tulum 🌚🙈🥶💥. They are destroying the future of overpriced greedy Tulum. 👉gold rush times destroys the future and all chances Tulum originally have had.

Jaguar National Park is a protected area in Mexico, known for its rich biodiversity and as a critical habitat for jaguars and other wildlife. The park is part of conservation efforts to preserve the natural ecosystems of the Yucatan Peninsula. The Mayan Train is a significant infrastructure project in Mexico, aiming to create a modern railway network that connects various Mayan archaeological sites and promotes tourism and economic development in the region. Tulum Airport, located near the town of Tulum on the Yucatan Peninsula, is an airport that serves the growing number of tourists visiting the area. It plays a crucial role in facilitating travel to the region's popular destinations, including Tulum's ancient ruins and stunning beaches. Thanks, Jungle Realtor!
Excellent that Mexico is finally developing Mexico's south and the south-east. Economic power groups in Northern and Central Mexico do not like it because they are weary of new economic actors that would compete with them and people don't like competition. They will throw everything at it to block it.
Sian Ka'an national Park is bigger . The train is amazing in the way how it destroy the water in the cenote, oxidation, cement in the water. Very healthy for natural, animal and human, right!!😢 The beach in Mexico is not private, Bit with this shit it is now. The locals have no way to get to the beach for free, Tulum take away everything from the locals.😢 I wanna bring my client back to there Hotel yesterday. And the guys from the park didn't let us all pass , just the client from the hotel Alito there because they have the bracelet from the park. But me because I'm not a federal tour guide and have no license for that hade to go out and walk out with the rest of my client. The rest of my client have no bracelet because they have there hotel in playa del Carmen and just sit in the Van. Can someone explain me why they should pay a bracelet if they just sit in the Van??? And me ?? I just bring them back to the hotel and leave again. It was at 5pm. My people were so mad and say they will public that sh..... We can not bring people back to there hotels ore get them in the morning. Tulum and the park is just to make Money out of everything. You just wanna go to the beach but you have to pass now this park and need to pay even if you just go to the beach. Is sad . Tulum was really good before the pandemic. After all what they built is for the tourist ore people with money!!!! Look 1 time in the local areas how people life there. The workers. We're are the new homes for the locals?? Hotel zone a american coffee 8 usd in Mexico that's insane, and I hear that from a client from the USA. A lot of location are closed in the Hotel zone because is so expansive and a taxi from there to the center 500 to a 600 peso. That crazy. Just sad what the all destroy bust for that train an the money. I'm a guide and go a lot in cenotes. Some cave are not save anymore and you can not visit them anymore. They will collapse with the train, the stalactites are falling of already. 😢😢😢😢
I appreciate your perspective. Tulum is an amazing destination with stunning seas, beaches, and a rich cultural scene. Much like Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, growth brings challenges, but it's also an opportunity for positive change. The new national park is part of the ongoing efforts to balance development and preserve the beauty of this incredible city. Your feedback is valuable as we work towards creating a sustainable future for Tulum.
Sustainable?????. What are you telling about sustainability here?????. It‘s worsening everywhere!. Any infrastructure for wastewater!. Polluting the water, polluted Cenotes, polluted sea…. Why is Tulum a sewage dump meanwhile ????. Why ???. Think about twice .

Greed eats brain 🏌️♂️
Greedy gold rush times with huge crime rates and killing holidaymakers at beach clubs!. Do you want to go there ?.
So how is that going to help with tourist staying near the jaguars?? There are reports of jaguars attacts near hotel zones
Does anybody know which design firms were involved in this project?
Yes, Panton, Ica, and 2 more that I forgot their names.
Thank you. This is exciting. I can't see where I can download a copy of the document describing this project.

Because humans will mob the place and leave it in ruins exactly the way the people 1000s of years ago did. But remember, it's all eco friendly.

Why excellent?????.
Tulum is on the way downwards!.
@@S.-od1pv even if a place is going downwards, adding culture, or in this case, this educational park, is a good thing regardless, is it not?

It does not make any difference what people think about the park, wheather you like it or not. It is here to stay, enjoy the Jaguars.
I guess that the only jaguar in the park is the name cause it looks to me like a very little area to preserve jaguars.
