Securing a mortgage through a Mexican bank offers a number of advantages for foreigners and can save you a lot of money, hassles and paperwork. As a foreigner you can open a bank account in Mexico as a tourist, a temporary resident, or a permanent resident. This provides the possibility of starting a credit score rating in Mexico.

Like a Mexican American I recommend something much cheaper and affordable Rivera Maya became very Expensive. AND so many people are taking chances of amarican dollars. There so many beautiful places around the Mexican country there beautiful and much more affordable
Thank you for sharing your thoughts @rafagaz, there are indeed other beautiful destinations in our amazing country. There are so many factors to consider when deciding where to invest, it depends on what people are looking for, lifestyle, ROI, and appreciation. Cheaper is not always the best choice when investing in Real Estate. You have to evaluate what is the highest-value market and then focus on a couple of specific opportunities. Curious to know what you are comparing the Riviera Maya to? Might be worth looking in to.

That is not correct, you dont have to renounce your citizenship.

I definitely would love to invest on a property in Paraiso Tabasco Mexico My Grandfather will be going back to retire and we have no habital property in Mexico after being in the U.S about 40 years and I'd love the peace of mind of having him somewhere he can live comfortably if you Guy's have a good contact with a broker I can work with from the U.S in Tabasco I'd appreciate it.
