Thank you so much! I'm taking a class on wine and I am putting your videos in a playlist to help me study.
My suggestion would be how someone like me can go to a wine shop and pick out a bottle I’d like. It’s often a daunting task.

Great video.. good introduction
Thanks Rob!
First video of yours i have seen, enjoyed it and very informative. Just missing a mention to the Jura region, a small wine region but probably my favourite
I completely understand! It's a region often overlooked, but unfortunately the time only allowed me to focus on the better known ones
Amazing stuff! Good for you. Some subjects that I am interested in : 1) best "underrated" French wines of each region 2) Your recommended wines for a dinner party 3) your Conversation Starter wine list - which ones can start a conversation - hopes these ideas provide some spring boards :)
Those are great points! Those are definitely going onto the drawing board thank you
Good Video for beginners 👍
Thank you!
Will you be making a video on south african wines?
Oh most definitely! Probably in the month of May!
Do you have an video about blinding tasting ? Thanks
I don't yet, but is a great topic idea :)

My favourite region has to be Languedoc-Rousillon due to it’s freedom of expression, sensational native varieties and awesome climate 🍇☀️
@@franbridgewater I could not agree more!
Great introduction. I didn't like the background music, it's too loud. Thanks for the info
I agree with the music. I've changed the volume since my first few videos 🙂

What is happening to French wine. Relative recent vintages seem to lack body or be more acidic. I assume that the climate has become more North African that the grapes are ripening prematurely or holding lass moisture.
It's definitely the climate, but I hate to say, it's also the consumers. The original French styles don't appeal to modern drinkers anymore.
I've seen better and I've seen a lot of worse wine videos. It is OK for a introductory course of French grapes and wines. I'm not a fan of Generation Z giving wine advice. Glad you avoided that!
