What does Grand Cru mean on French wine?
In this video, I'm explaining what means Grand Cru in Alsace, Grand Cru in Burgundy, Grand Cru in Champagne, Grand Cru in Medoc, and finally Grand Cru Classé Saint-Emilion regions.
The Grand Cru classifications of Médoc were introduced in 1855 in Paris at Napoleon's III comand.
