Resonator still in place
Exhaust is definitely louder but not to loud and when accelerating you can definitely hear the exhaust but once cruising it is barely noticeable depending on speed and drone is little to nothing
Just got this 10416 installed today on my 2018 F-150 5.0. Overall first impressions is very nice. Above 4K RPM there is little change to the sound, but 1-3K rpm is the sweet spot where this gives you a low rumble at idle, and good sound going slow. It’s louder than I expected, but that’s not really a bad thing. Shouldn’t annoy the neighbours too much, very happy. Will update if things change

How much louder would you say it was than stock? Looking at the same muffler for my truck but I don't want any drone and definitely dont wanna get pulled over for it.
While I had it it was significantly louder than stock but not obnoxious, it was fairly loud on cold starts but tamed down and accelerating was definitely noticeable but got fairly quiet when cruising at around 40mph. At highway speeds above 60 you could definitely hear it and there was a little drone but it was not too bad.
how big is the exhaust tip? I read 4 inch gives the best sound??
Cut that silencer off and slap a Super10 on that bad boy.
Looks a lot like the same stock muffler as on my 2020 Ford 150? It doesn't come from the factory with magna flo exhaust I looked. Unless you know something I don't.
No it shouldn’t unless the dealer installed an exhaust system or muffler on it.
How's the muffler doing did it get louder over time? Or is it still pretty quiet?
I didn’t really notice much of a difference over time but it might have gotten a bit louder. I now have a different setup.

Not bad, a little drone at highway speeds.
What all did you need to get this muffler in?
Just the muffler, took it to a local exhaust shop and they charged $60 to cut the old muffler and weld in this one.
