Yes, there is a two separate switch and wire line.

It's an awesome fan, however, the fan you replaced was still only 2.5 sones, however, I saw 150 CFM for the old unit (from the old blue HVI sticker). The old fan also had a light. Great job though.

I know you didn't make the fan but in my mind you are reheating half of the stinky air and redistributing it back to the room . I would of installed a Panasonic green smart fan with all the add-ons . And for heat do infloor or wall mounted elect heater near the floor .Heat raises along with the bad air . Also your attic insulation needs to be added to.
I do what owner want. That bath fan not my choice. That "attic" not attic, just space between basement and first floor, insulation not important there.
Could you please post a video of the exaust fan working? Mine is barely exhausting any air.
Check outside air register if it open all the way.

Great job, how did you worked out the electrical. I heard you need an dedicated 20 amp circuit for this fan because of the heater. I want to install one
That old fan was with heater, so line already there.
But i was install before same fan with heater on a regular 14-2 line and just replased circuit in garage main panel from 15 to 20 and no problem, it works just great many years .
@@FixitAll you can not run #14 wire to a 20 amp circuit breaker

14 can easily hold 20 amp, but not by code that's true.
@@salfitimina2376 And, i even didn't check what # of wire was there because i just replace old Fan with Heater to a new Fan with Heater.
Old works fine 40 years and new will do same.

Why you had to redo AC register?
Old AC pipe was too close to new fan box and touch new pipe from fan.
