I am concerned that there were no clamps or even bushings used to insulate or hold the power leads into the unit. Aside from that. You made it look very easy.
Question, could you have used a hose clamp to permanently attach the vent line to the housing assembly?

Never ever use clamps to hold pipes. My speshial wet location foil tape hold it forever.

You used 1x2 in the sheetrock to support the housing, is that safe, can it hold the weight of the fan?

Wood for screws not for support weight.

You need light above mirror and sink.

I noticed that you didn't use the bracket that Panasonic provides. Is it enough to screw the fan house to the wood for weight support? I am asking because there is already a plywood ceiling in my bathroom and the bracket is hard to install. Update: finished installing without bracket, thanks for your help!!

Yes 4 screw thas all what you need. All the time I use only 4.
