Flexibility: Locksmithing can offer flexibility in terms of working hours. As a side gig, you can schedule jobs around your primary job or other commitments, allowing you to work when it's convenient for you and your clients.
Skill-based work: Locksmithing requires specialized skills and knowledge, which can make it a valuable service. People often require locksmiths in various situations, such as when they're locked out of their homes, need to change locks, or require assistance with security systems.
High demand: There is a consistent demand for locksmith services. People encounter lock and security-related issues regularly, creating a steady stream of potential clients. This demand can provide you with a steady flow of side income.
Profit potential: Depending on your area and the specific services you offer, locksmithing can be financially rewarding. Jobs such as lock installations, rekeying, and emergency lockouts can be charged at competitive rates, allowing you to earn a decent income on the side.
Low startup costs: Compared to some other professions, locksmithing has relatively low startup costs. Basic locksmith tools can be acquired without a significant investment, and you can gradually expand your equipment as your business grows.
Networking opportunities: As you build your locksmithing side gig, you may develop relationships with clients who may refer you to others in need of locksmith services. Word-of-mouth recommendations and positive reviews can help expand your customer base and increase your earning potential.
However, it's important to note that becoming a locksmith requires proper training and certification, as well as compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements. Additionally, locksmithing can involve physically demanding work and occasional emergency calls outside regular working hours.
Before pursuing locksmithing as a side gig, consider the local market demand, competition, and your availability to ensure it aligns with your goals and circumstances

With auto I find I never stop buying equipment. But well worth it and love every minute
I love tools and equipment...I am starting out with realtors and then as I start having a bit of extra Money I am going to start getting into the auto keys. Do you use the autel device?
Yes, IM508 and Xtool Pad3 and OBDstar
Also, I am not sure if I can legally advertise on my website without a license
only way to find out is to try, set up a google ads account and try to run a test campaign and see what is required
Isn’t it illegal to operate as a lock smith without a license?
Some of the state you can work with no license
Only in some states
Not in the uk
don't claim you're a locksmith

@@locksmithingsecrets I would love to see the Morgan Plant as well as the Pembleton Estate where they build their beautiful works of art. Do you live anywhere near there?
@@Biokemist-o3k no unfortunately
@@locksmithingsecrets we could go visit the plant together...lol I just got this feeling of sadness when I saw your answer. Kinda like when people ask about awesome stuff here like the Simeone museum and I have never been there. Not everyone likes cars as much as I do....I am a true petrol head.
Really want to start this trade as a side hustle…
Just figuring out where to start…
Good useful tips there…
I suppose I’m thinking you tube is a free way to learn, but I won’t necessarily know if I’m learning everything I need to learn if that makes sense…
I would get your website done first, and then start practicing lock picking at home

Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the only way to eternal life. The first man, Adam, sinned, and after him, all humanity. Mankind was brought under the curse through Adam. So the Lord Jesus Christ had to take on flesh, and live the perfect life for us. He then died on the cross for our sins as our perfect substitute and rose from the dead on the third day in victory. In doing so, He frees the one who believes in Him from the curse and brings us under His representation, by which we are declared righteous before God. Further, it’s through His blood that He gives the believer power to live a new life, free from the slavery of sin. Everyone was born once (physically). That’s how you enter earthly life. But to receive eternal life, you must be born again (spiritually) - and that comes through the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
Shut up
😂😂😂😂
When diverting calls to another locksmith company, how can I ensure that I am getting paid for each job?
has to be done on trust, you can have the calls recorded also
Hello @locksmithingsecrets.
I have been in the automotive locksmith business for some time now.
I have the necessary equipment and experience, especially in European cars. I also work with Immo-Off, Virginization, module adaptation, among others.
I have only been in the United States for 10 months and I still haven't managed to find a way to give my business a good promotion.
I'm really not very good at advertising and this is preventing me from developing my skills in this world of locksmithing.
Do you have any type of hiring for people like me?
Or any other solution that could help me?
Thanks for your information.
Hello, absolutely, we can help you with the marketing side of things, you can book a free call with us on this link: www.locksmithingsecrets.com/launch
wouldn’t you need to run expensive google Ads to get clients?
They are not expensive if they are profitable, you spend $20 to get a job and get paid $100 for the job
