Only thing I would add would be a pair of safety glasses right next to your key machines! Cutting keys with any of the high security cutters is not an issue (at least duplicating). It's programming BMWs, VWs, Mercedes that's an issue. Most out of the box programmers do not program them. It is a pretty specific skill, and it's something my company chooses not to do.

By code, I'm assuming you mean the code for the key cuts. There are companies that provide you the code information using the VIN number. You need to be verified as a locksmith with them and you need to provide customer's proof of ownership for the car before they will give you that info. Then yes, once you have that information you can use the SEC E9 to cut the Key.

We offer a 2 week training course, 4 hours a day. It's enough to make you dangerous. You could do a lot of key duplications, the harder part are the key originations.

What do you think of the km100 key programmer?

Even before you started talking about the sec e9 I was gonna gripe about it, but I'm curious how many people get lemons with those, I had one lemon, but it cut me hundreds of keys before it went out. I like the machines, I'm just worried about them constantly.

I have three of them and have not yet had any issues with any of them. Even if I did, I could replace them four times before spending the same amount of money on the "American" version. Which, most likely, comes out of the same factory.
