  • In this lesson of the Inkscape Master Series, we'll learn all about clipping and masking, including inverse clipping, inverse masking, and clip groups. In the project section, we'll use what we learned to create a coffee poster.

    crazy how it can be frustrating when it's not doing what you want but then you come here and learn how it really works and all of a sudden it makes sense.
    of course i had random transparency cause i used a mask and i should have used a clip. doi.
    This is day 2 of learning a vector program and it feels very powerful with a ton of options for design.

    The pace of the video is excellent. It's great how you first explained all the concepts and then showed how to apply each of them!

    Hello, I'm your student on Udemy, tell me something, I saw that in this tutorial you are not using the current version of Inkscape, why? Do you recommend using another one?

    what's the difference between clip and clip group?
    I didn't understand well

      Clip groups use clipping, but you can also add more objects to the group and they will be clipped as well. To add more objects with normal clipping, you would have to first release the clip, select everything, then set the clip again.

    I absolutely love your videos, but on some parts you’re going very fast and I can’t even see what you did.

    Inverse clip doesn't work..... it just clips

    • @SweaterCatDesigns
      @SweaterCatDesigns  9 місяців тому +1

      It works, but only on shapes and paths. It doesn't work on things like images and groups of objects, unfortunately.
