- Hello! In this video I made a rabbit cage for my rabbit Frankie. Keep in mind that I also free rang him. I have also made some adjustments since I have posted this video. If you want more rabbit videos make sure to comment because I would love to make more! I am also happy to make a more in depth video talking about the materials, costs, dimensions, and more because I know that I did not go into details in this video. Also feel free to ask questions in the comments.

All Supplies came from: Lowe’s
Dimensions of cage: 75” , 32” , 30”
IMPORTANT: make sure that if you make this cage with the listed dimensions that you are also free ranging your rabbit daily.
Total cost of cage: around $80 (keep in mind I already had some of the supplies such as the nails, some mesh, as well as all the tools needed.)

@@radioactive_p1ssy.boy. if you weren’t an absolute moron u would notice she has a dog. How is she suppose to free roam a bunny when she has a dog? Use your head. It’s plenty space. It’s a rabbit.
@NS Voo I’m sure they weren’t implying that she should free roam, just that there isn’t enough space. And even if she wanted to free roam I could see that her enclosure is in her room and she could simply close the door. No need to be so harsh but I do think that it has plenty of space necessary.
Even better, in her description it clearly says she free ranges so think before you speak!

Michael Mendez thank you so much! I actually don’t think it’s necessary to attach the cage to the flooring. The cage just sits on top of the flooring and I haven’t had any issues with my rabbit getting out or moving the cage. Just make sure that you leave a lip of the flooring free so that you can rest the cage on top. I hope this helps 😊

I think it is too small for the bunny, your should make or buy a bigger playpen ! Therefore, it will be more space to play! Also, you need to add a little bed and a hiding box for it. Therefore, it will be more comfortable! I also love your settings!

Secondly, where did you get that large cardboard tube? I have been looking for a substitute materials for the cat play tunnel that I currently have because my bunnies have torn it up and have exposed the wire inside, which is quite dangerous.

hello I just want to say Weldone you have your bunny inside you have no roof so he can jump but I would recommend hay in the cage more toys and some where for your bunny to sleep but overall I think it is great

Jessii Baxter thank you! I just peeled the back off the tile and stuck it down to the bottom floor of the cage. The tiles come with a adhesive already on them like a sticker.

Jessii Baxter I just lined up the tiled edge to edge and stuck them to the floor of the cage which is just a thing piece of plywood. 😊

I like it but I think u should add a litter box with more space, a higher rim, and a hood but its overall amazing and even better then my bunnies enclosure

Brynn Whelan I just used a thin piece of plywood that matched my dimensions as well as peel and stick tiles all from Lowe’s. 😊

Heyy💓my rabbit wasn’t a big chewer so I didn’t have any problems with him but if you find that ur bunny is then just make sure that you use a rabbit safe wood bc many can be toxic

How did u get the wiring to stay with the wood?
GachaPin xx we nailed the wiring to one of the frames and then sandwiched them together. This made it so that the two frames are holding the wiring inside. 😊

GachaPin xx I wouldn’t say that it was too difficult to build. I tried to keep the design simple because I had never built a rabbit cage before but It was a good weekend project. 😁

My parents say no to any “rodents” in the house but My dad could easily build this, also would you say that rabbits “stink” or Cost Over 100 dollars a month?
the rabbits dont stink themselves, but the litter will after 3 days. and yes, it may cost over 100 dollars a month or 50. depending on how many u own.

Yup I’m gunna be getting a Rex in January I was looking at dog pens but they wire spacing isn’t correct for outside so then I was like “what about a cheep run?” an my lord i swear I pay less money for rent each month 😂

I love seeing innocent animals being cute, my bunny died very recently, and he reminds me so much of him (And he was only about three months old), but God was/is with me every step of the way, I can’t imagine my life without God, He has brought me so much joy and relief I have to share this, : Will you go to Heaven when you die? Way too small I recommend you free roam it’s cheaper and you’ll have more space that cage is way too small free roaming sounds amazing right! If you can’t then put it in an x pen
Luna UwU she does free roam, but this is her main setup, and that is totally fine
this is a decent cage setup, Its not that small. 75" would equal 6.2 feet. 32" would be 2.6/2.7 feet. and 30" would be 2.5 feet. so its a good size.
