DIY bunny cage
Hello! In this video I made a rabbit cage for my rabbit Frankie. Keep in mind that I also free rang him. I have also made some adjustments since I have posted this video. If you want more rabbit videos make sure to comment because I would love to make more! I am also happy to make a more in depth video talking about the materials, costs, dimensions, and more because I know that I did not go into details in this video. Also feel free to ask questions in the comments.

IMPORTANT: make sure that if you make this cage with the listed dimensions that you are also free ranging your rabbit daily.
Total cost of cage: around $80 (keep in mind I already had some of the supplies such as the nails, some mesh, as well as all the tools needed.)

Heyyπmy rabbit wasnβt a big chewer so I didnβt have any problems with him but if you find that ur bunny is then just make sure that you use a rabbit safe wood bc many can be toxic

You should free roam ur bunny bc cages can cause depression which can cause death π

Yup Iβm gunna be getting a Rex in January I was looking at dog pens but they wire spacing isnβt correct for outside so then I was like βwhat about a cheep run?β an my lord i swear I pay less money for rent each month π

I love seeing innocent animals being cute, my bunny died very recently, and he reminds me so much of him (And he was only about three months old), but God was/is with me every step of the way, I canβt imagine my life without God, He has brought me so much joy and relief I have to share this, : Will you go to Heaven when you die? I think it is too small for the bunny, your should make or buy a bigger playpen ! Therefore, it will be more space to play! Also, you need to add a little bed and a hiding box for it. Therefore, it will be more comfortable! I also love your settings!

Michael Mendez thank you so much! I actually donβt think itβs necessary to attach the cage to the flooring. The cage just sits on top of the flooring and I havenβt had any issues with my rabbit getting out or moving the cage. Just make sure that you leave a lip of the flooring free so that you can rest the cage on top. I hope this helps π
My parents say no to any βrodentsβ in the house but My dad could easily build this, also would you say that rabbits βstinkβ or Cost Over 100 dollars a month?
the rabbits dont stink themselves, but the litter will after 3 days. and yes, it may cost over 100 dollars a month or 50. depending on how many u own.

This is temporary because it be wants to do all miss them he really can't and also just put a rug on there instead because you don't want your rabbit to have splayed legs do you?

Way too small I recommend you free roam itβs cheaper and youβll have more space that cage is way too small free roaming sounds amazing right! If you canβt then put it in an x pen
Luna UwU she does free roam, but this is her main setup, and that is totally fine
this is a decent cage setup, Its not that small. 75" would equal 6.2 feet. 32" would be 2.6/2.7 feet. and 30" would be 2.5 feet. so its a good size.

hello I just want to say Weldone you have your bunny inside you have no roof so he can jump but I would recommend hay in the cage more toys and some where for your bunny to sleep but overall I think it is great
so i made it too :D just by using woodprix plans:)

Brynn Whelan I just used a thin piece of plywood that matched my dimensions as well as peel and stick tiles all from Loweβs. π

How did u get the wiring to stay with the wood?
GachaPin xx we nailed the wiring to one of the frames and then sandwiched them together. This made it so that the two frames are holding the wiring inside. π

GachaPin xx I wouldnβt say that it was too difficult to build. I tried to keep the design simple because I had never built a rabbit cage before but It was a good weekend project. π

Jessii Baxter thank you! I just peeled the back off the tile and stuck it down to the bottom floor of the cage. The tiles come with a adhesive already on them like a sticker.
@@cecilyhansen3315 What did you use for the floor of the cage besides the tile??..Me and my finance I've been trying to figure that part out for the longest lol..Was cardboard Or something else?

Jessii Baxter I just lined up the tiled edge to edge and stuck them to the floor of the cage which is just a thing piece of plywood. π
