i really want a bunny lately. after i researched more on how to properly care for them there are so many things to prepare and take care of so i thought i would get them later. I want to give them the best life
My bunny loves her pellets, whenever we open the closet where we keep her food she’ll immediately run from wherever she is and stuff her face in the bag of pellets. It took her 2 months to start peeing in her litter box, and 5 months to be fully litter trained. We’ll still find some poo pellets her and there but she mainly poos in her litter box. I love bunnies, I fell like they are the perfect pet especially for my family.
Do you have any advice for getting them to poop in the litterbox? Mine are 9 weeks old, they're pretty successful in peeing in there but still poop everywhere :(
@@milcarter8285 my family and I would take turns on making sure the house stays clean of poo pellets everyday, we would vacuum 2-3 times a day. Sometimes if the poo pellets are close to her litter box, we would put the poo in the litter box. The first time we left in 1-2 days (depending how much she used the box) more than supposed to when having to clean the box, so that she understood that that corner was for her to do her business in, then when there was less poo around the house, We started cleaning it regularly. And of course the hay in the litter box helped. Also some bunnies prefer a litter box with a roof, so if you don’t have one with a roof maybe try that out. You could get a cat litter box, or get a big box, and put it over the litter box, with an entrance hole. I hope this helps, good luck :)
My daughter wanted a rabbit for xmas. Her grandma got her a pet rabbit, but she had to write an essay (she was 12) about rabbits, their diet, behavior and what she would need to do to take good care of a pet. Way to go grandma! She wrote a very detailed essay and now we have our bun romeo!! He is also free range! Rabbits are a very underrated pet, but do the research first!! I would definitely try to utilize more of that rug space and put a heavy duty tarp underneath the rug. Most bunnies feel too confined with one exercise pen so I recommend connecting two of the to give them adequate run space and to maximize the play surface of the rug. Unless you’re litter training in a smaller pen, Rabbits’s should be able to take 5-6 full hops in every direction. You can also maximize space with one pen if you stretch it from wall to wall instead leaving the wall area the open part of the pen. You can always cover the base boards up too by raising the tarp slightly over them or laying down cheap wood or blocks along the wall. But personally being a rabbit rescue, the pen shown in this video is much to small, even for my Holland lops.
I love that you take the time out of your day to respond to your fans! That is so sweet ❤️ Great video btw, and you should totally make a bunny diet video :)

As long as the lid is on tight the pellet will not spoil for a while ... I wouldn’t let the pellet sit for longer than 2 months though. Also you can buy high quality grass hay bales and store them in your garage or shed ,... or what i do use an old recycling bin with a lid ... those are just my suggestions .... Oh and veggies can be bought cheaper if you purchase spring mixes from the store and farmers market... thanks for sharing your lovely advice i hope your able to use some of my information as well 😽

I have never had a bunny, yet I enjoy your videos. Cinnabun is just so cute and fun to watch. I love how your house is tidy and neat even though you have a bunny, it's very encouraging to see that you can still have a lovely home and incorporate a free roamed bunny as part of your family. Some of the bunny folks that come up in my feed seem to have really messy set ups, and it can be really discouraging for folks who may want a bunny but don't want their homes to be so messy. I'm wondering... for someone who has never had a bunny... is it better to start with just one? (I know many say they absolutely must be in pairs yet there are so many single bunny families that seem so great and happy, and our local rescue and shelters do adopt out single bunnies as well). And I guess I would also wonder... if you only want one bunny... and never wish to have two... is that acceptable as well? Additionally would love to see you do a series where you show bunny finds and hacks at local stores. I often wonder as I shop at Hobby Lobby if all the unfinished wood there would be bunny friendly. Have a blessed day.
So my bunny had a fluctuating diet since he has been through a lot of trauma. He never had pellets in his life. So what I did to introuduce pellets was add one pellet everyday. Like I started with 1 pellet a day and increased the quantity each day. By day 20 he was gobbling on pellets and his tummy wasn't disturbed either. The vet also appreciated this method since my bunny is a special needs bunny and needs extra care. Yes, it can be time consuming but trust me, it's worth it and most importantly, don't skip a day... I mostly did this at dinner time when I was free. So I had time to count pellets and give it to him.
Thank you so so much! I just bought a bunny 🐰 and I’m so excited to bring her home but I knew NOTHING about having a bunny and what to do and what to get! Thank you thank you thank you!
I'd love to see a bunny diet series! I really want a bunny but something I have very little knowledge about is their diet. I feel like hearing about it from you would be nice and it would make it easier for me to understand lol. The articles I read are really wordy and when I go to check another source some of the information doesn't add up :/. Tbh I feel we need way more info platforms for rabbits of all kinds :(
This video is definitely so useful for us. We bought a baby bunny 8 weeks old to home but unfortunately she died 3 days after . My daughter was so sad. We shouldn’t let the baby rabbit to play and ate grass in our garden. We suspect she ate too much grass… 😢
Hello, this is my first time on this channel. I saw the name of the channel and got emotional because a couple years back my bunny had a litter and I named one of the kits cinnabun. He was very healthy all until late at night one day my mom went outside to check on the babies (my bunnies are inside now) and he had unfortunately passed. I cried for an hour and there was still one little baby unnamed. His name was cinnabun jr. . 3/6 of the kits survived, 2 already dead when found, and cinnabun. All the other 3 are in new homes while I have buttons (female) and cheerio (male) sorry for the long story!
Oh gosh I'm so glad I found you... Tried to watch another one of the main UA-cam channels for bunnies and I find the rythm is was too slow and way too few actual information... So glad I found Cinnabun 😁
I would love an in-depth bunny diet video! I have a 4 month old Holland lop and am struggling to know what to feed him at what age, or what I should or shouldn’t be introducing yet.
@@biancaking982 thank you for your reply! I got my Holland lop at 2 months old and have been feeding him hay and pellets. I meant more so greens, herbs, small amounts of fruit and when I should be introducing those types of things. It’s easy to find videos or charts on what they can eat (in general) but I have yet to find an in-depth bunny diet video.
If you feed the rabbit greens or Fruit I highly suggest keeping an eye on your rabbit poop to make sure it’s normal , and try not to give them that manny greens . I only give my rabbit a treat once or twice a week and he is 3 months
I suggest the bunny lady on UA-cam she links websites that go in full depth for your bunny diet 💜❣️❣️❣️ The links to the website will tell u what u should be feeding ur bunny at different ages or months or weeks
Thank you for sharing your bunny knowledge and expertise. Your video was very helpful and informative. I especially liked the visuals that complimented your commentary.
I LOVED my rabbit, she was so fluffy soft and cute. I used to snuggle her in my bed when it was cold outside, she would just sit there for hours fast asleep! She once even jumped up and licked all the tears off my face when I was sad! She used to eat and drink out my hands and I used to kiss her face and stroke the back of her neck.
My bunny refused to come out from under the table when we brought him home. I left him to get comfortable. I placed his food at the start of the table and sat a small distance away to allow him space. After 3 weeks he started coming more outside and running to us for snacks and food.
My bunny is very tricky. We have had to move him from lots of different setups, due to the room he was in(he is now living happily in my room for about 8 months running), his temperament, and much more. He was a class pet for a local 2nd grade class, so he is a very non-trusting rabbit. When lockdown hit, he was fostered by an amazing woman who did the best she could with not previously owning a bunny. That being said, she was messing up his diet a bit. She was feeding him WAY too many pellets than he needed, more greens than recommended for a bunny his size, and not enough hay. Because of his dieting mishaps. he was struggling with Intermittent Soft Cecotropes, which occur when a bunny is provided with so much nutrition that they have no reason to eat their cecotropes. This, plus his naturally stubborn nature, added with the habitat changes, have thrown his litter training all out of whack. He always pees in the litterbox, but he likes to annoy me and poop ON TOP OF MY PILLOW for no apparent reason. Sorry about my bunny troubles rant, I love him so much but he can be a bit of a pain :)
Hi I have one question I feed my buns luttuce and carrots, but some people say you can feed them apples, bannas and other things like that, just wondering if you recomend those or not.
I got a baby bunny yesterday, and I went pet shopping today. I bought one of those water feeder things. Why didn’t I watch this firstttt I hope it’ll still be fine
Omg please please please do a feed series! I’ve gone way into depth with my dog and hamsters food but my rabbit gets dumor rabbit pellets cause that’s what I grabbed quickly when we rescued him. He also gets veges all time but i love learning from you!
My Gigi is IN LOVE with her pellets but when she sees her little salad omg she loses it lol. I also give her these apple wood sticks just something she can have to chew on and she loves those as well. I'm definitely going to check out your toys list because right now she has a stuffed animal and a foraging mat but I'm thinking about getting her a wooden toy playset which I think she will love! Thank you for this information. My baby will be 1 this December!

The vet also appreciated this method since my bunny is a special needs bunny and needs extra care. Yes, it can be time consuming but trust me, it's worth it and most importantly, don't skip a day... I mostly did this at dinner time when I was free. So I had time to count pellets and give it to him.
So excited for another video! Keep up the great work Morgan! ♥️🎉
Thank you friend!

Thank you so so much! I just bought a bunny 🐰 and I’m so excited to bring her home but I knew NOTHING about having a bunny and what to do and what to get! Thank you thank you thank you!
I’m getting a pet bunny in two weeks thanks for the advice and telling me how to take care of my new pet bunny:3
I'm getting a bun in the next 2-3 weeks to free roam in my room! Super excited
Oh gosh I'm so glad I found you... Tried to watch another one of the main UA-cam channels for bunnies and I find the rythm is was too slow and way too few actual information... So glad I found Cinnabun 😁

So lovely!
This was so educational, thank you so much! I'm getting a bunny in april and i'm so excited!
Congratulations
This is super great information, I loved seeing you covered their sensitivity to food. So many videos out there make me cringe. Thank you 👑
I'm so grateful that i found your channel:( 💜
I would love an in-depth bunny diet video! I have a 4 month old Holland lop and am struggling to know what to feed him at what age, or what I should or shouldn’t be introducing yet.
Feed them hay and pellets , you can research manny videos on UA-cam about baby bunny care
It’s good to try and start them on hay kind of young to get them used to it I suggest the bunny lady on UA-cam
Aw nothing better than to bring home a new baby. 🥰
so cute!!!!!!! love the set up
I LOVED my rabbit, she was so fluffy soft and cute. I used to snuggle her in my bed when it was cold outside, she would just sit there for hours fast asleep! She once even jumped up and licked all the tears off my face when I was sad! She used to eat and drink out my hands and I used to kiss her face and stroke the back of her neck.
im so ready for this bun journey. TY for this
Your videos are making me understand how to take care of a bunny and i'm getting one soon!
Before I saw your channel, I was gonna name my bunny, Cinnabun I thought it was gonna be real cute the name lol😂
My bunny refused to come out from under the table when we brought him home. I left him to get comfortable. I placed his food at the start of the table and sat a small distance away to allow him space. After 3 weeks he started coming more outside and running to us for snacks and food.
I am so glad I came across this video, cus I was about to buy a c&c grid cage when my bunny is free roaming outside!
for my birthday🐰🤞hopefuly
BUNY WITH STUFFED BUNYY YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I can’t wait I’m getting one tomorrow ee
Is it just me or was it really cute when Cinnabun was looking up at the camera 4:58 🥰
I love your rabbit!🐇🐰
Thank you so much my mom said I might get a bunny and his is good for my thanks! ❤️❤️
That is an immaculate water bowl *chefs kiss 🤌*
This is gonna help me SO much to convince my parents to get me a bunny, ty!
Hi I have one question I feed my buns luttuce and carrots, but some people say you can feed them apples, bannas and other things like that, just wondering if you recomend those or not.
Yes, you can feed them bananas. DO NOT FEED THEM JUST VEGGIES! Hay needs to be 80% of their diet.
when do you start putting the small amount of new food into the old?
I got a baby bunny yesterday, and I went pet shopping today. I bought one of those water feeder things. Why didn’t I watch this firstttt
I hope it’ll still be fine
You are very helpful Cinabuns bun mum you have really helped me god bless you 😇
I just got a baby bunny

Me having to rewind the video every 10 seconds because I’m too busy looking at Cinnabun
Happy Belated Birthday Cinnabun🎁🥳🎈🐰❤
Omg please please please do a feed series! I’ve gone way into depth with my dog and hamsters food but my rabbit gets dumor rabbit pellets cause that’s what I grabbed quickly when we rescued him. He also gets veges all time but i love learning from you!
YES PLEASE A DINT VIDEO!!
