Okay, so hear me out with this metaphor.
So Ebony and Sterling’s pen is the equivalent of a NICE 2bed 2bath house.
Lulus pen is the equivalent of a nice studio apartment, which is all the old gal needs :)
Meaning, all of those “rabbit cages” people shove their bunnies in are the equivalent of a closet.

Vasia Vasia Actually, bunnies tend to be the most active in the mornings and at night so you should just free roam 24/7 so he can go in and out to sleep as he pleases.

Madeleine Engel rabbits really need to be able to run and jump on a daily basis. Unfortunately it’s not as well known to people who get bunnies that they are very complex intelligent creatures and they are not meant to live in cages. Their proper upkeep requires a lot of daily work & commitment. Important thing to Keep in Mind is there are other ways not as extensive as this that you can do that for them...it’s not as hard as you might think. ♥️🐰🙏🏼

I just finished building a 6 foot by 6 foot cage for mine! I went out and bought a small cage yesterday being a first person rabit owner thinking it would be ok for him only being a month and a half old. Well I came to your channel and was like oh damn, and spent all day transforming my basement for the bunny

you should do like a hole on the window and do an outdoor area connected to the window. build like a ramp so he can go outside and go back inside and put like a door so you can block it whenever you want your rabbits to go outside or not go outside

cylney i think it’s sometimes forgotten by people what rabbits do in the wild. If she did do outside space it would have to be a little closed rabbit deck. Which would be cute. But can’t just have a ramp going outside even if fenced because you know. Rabbits. Dirt. They dig holes

This was in my recommendations and is my first video I've seen on your channel! Absolutely in love with everything you've done. Your love for your buns is very apparent and these buns have a good life. The fact that you give Lulu and specialized area for her is so great. As I'm sure you know, too many senior rabbits get abandoned once they're not as "fun" or start to have more accidents.
I know not every bun owner has the space or can afford to do something like this, but I hope it's a good inspiration for people. Rabbits can't live a happy life in a cage!
So happy to stumble across you and see your happy buns. I don't have my own (yet!!!) but this is my absolute dream set up for my future buns.

Such a beautiful set up! I was given a bunny a week ago from a kid at my school and I never thought I'd love buns so much! You're videos are very helpful! Especially when I first considered getting a bun!
I'm late watching this and leaving a comment, but this room turned out so nice!!! I love the natural look and the clear plexiglass too. It gives such an open and airy feeling to it. The IKEA rugs and sea grass basket are too cute! Lovely room tour!

I love this! I don't know a lot about rabbit care, but it's obvious to everyone watching that you would go above and beyond for your bunnies. We know that most people would not put this much money, energy or time into the care of their pets-it's absolutely admirable that you care so deeply and earnestly for your rabbits. You set an excellent example, and I hope the shadow cast by said example encourages others to put forth more effort unto their own pets.

Excellent job on not only rabbit proofing your new home, but providing rabbits a means to climb and be active. I build customized indoor rabbit structures and people are amazed when I build them something that is tall and has many levels. They're shocked when they see the rabbits immediately start chinning it and climbing to the top. Allows for easy interaction as well. Great job! You and your assistant (dad) have excellent woodworking skills. The only thing I would do would provide more pine chewing toys on the floor that are available over the base board pine covers or inside tunnel ramps (I noticed a bunch of chew marks). Ohhh love it you take very good care of your fur babie I love seeing that we need more people doing this my baby was placed in a Guinea pigs cage and she is a big 8 pound baby so for the past 12 months of her life she was locked up in a prison so cruel now we have adopted her and happy to say Oreo is a free range bunny and enjoys her life with lots of love and everything she needs 💕💕 thank you for sharing

Mels_fur babies hi I am making my rabbit a free roaming bunny once my room is decorated as I have recently found out that the cage is to small for her and I was wandering what sort of stuff I need for her as I’m planning on getting a cat litter box and one of the ikea beds for her but was wondering if anything else like for my floor as I have laminate flooring

I love this so much 😍 I bet these cuties will have a great time in their new home. You and your Dad did such an amazing job. Sadly, we dont have enough space inside and I dont want my future bunnies to be living outside since we dont even have a fence so they arent as safe😭 But we're looking foreward of getting a garden house for them instead. Creating a cute home there. I cant wait to finally be a bunny mom again, its been 8 long years now🥰 Honestly bunnies always put a smile on my face.
