Depending on the soap its actually not bad, many dermathologists recommend it. It could be hormonal your thinning and/or hair loss. Mine was hormonal.

I wash my scalp everyday too cause I've got an oily scalp. Though daily washing will keep my scalp clean and healthy but it'll dry out the hair and make it really rough so I gotta make sure that my hair stays hydrated by locking in the moisture everytime it's wet with the use of oils and sometimes creams.

This comment makes me happy! So many people try to put my hair into a category “wavy” “curly” “almost Afro” “not even curly “ but the truth is my hair is just it’s own thing . And yes I have curls and waves on the same head, coarse and medium… soft, too soft sometimes

I was just asking my mother about this, my hair gets waxy and will not stay straight when it gets longer than a 3-4 inches. Right now it’s the longest it’s ever been and it’s so frustrating not knowing what my hair type is and having to knock it all down since I’m not sure what to do with it.

I agree, to certain extent. Blow drying your hair from fully wet to dry can be damaging because of the amount of heat needed, but I didn't know about sealing the cuticle! giving my hair a lil blow out to get it smother helps my hair care so much until the next wash, and I like using oils, but only 2 or 3 days after I've washed my hair, as I feel it helps to keep it looking fresh and retain moisture, since my hair is so damaged from bleaching it, creams only get absorbed but the oil helps me manage it better, thanks for the tips!

Im not a barber or anything but ive basically learnt this method through trial and error. Ive got curly hair but always had a problem with dryness. One extra thing that i do tho, that you did not mention, is apply my overnight hair cream for the day and not at night before i sleep. I will put on a durag and let it dry naturally. The one i use is meant to repair dry damaged hair and also softens it while giving it a smoother look. After an hour or 2 i will remove the durag and shake my hair out and im good to go. I will wash the product out at night before i go to bed. I do blowdry my hair from time to time but only if im in a rush or i want my curls a bit more extended. Also sleeping with a silk durag or silk pillow helps to not wake up with frizzy hair.

    • @williamlif
      @williamlif 2 роки тому +11

Stop shampoo first because the fact that only your end are dry means you are over shampooing :
      - shampoo 1-2 weeks max like really
      - so now we enter budget territory’s .. you have the coins go high end product (kerastase resistance 😍😍😍)
If you don’t have the coins try some hairdressers brand that are max 10€ bottle.
For what to buy like the guy is saying in his video check your hair type and bro rincE with cold water.
Dont and never go outside with damp hair, especially when it’s cold your gonna freeze your fukin hair.
Don’t towel dry but scrunch your hair and better do that with a t shirt (less friction).
Blow dry with heat protection, in section I do the side first so it lays flat and le piece de resistance a tiny bit of jojoba oil on the end for s nice shine and moisture
Oh and don’t forget it’s a marathon not a race ( it took me 1 month of this to see my hair fukin revive now it’s Gucci)

My hair has seen better days for sure. I notice lately in addition to being dry and brittle, frizzy and curly in one spot for some reason... it's gotten thin toward the ends. Say half way down. So it's all tumble weed up top and scraggy, stringy breakage below the shoulders. Realized this yesterday. Now I need halp.

Yes! Makes total sense. I have long wavey hair. I got a permanent straight perm and it's been growing out. I had one highlighting done and that's been growing out. I never use heat, no blow dry not even hot showers, and maybe it's because I'm in Bali, but I have hairdressers that say they can't fill in the top with a permanent straight perm after I got the highlights done or they just don't do it. (I think some have no idea how to do a straight perm) Maybe it's because I'm 41 (most people guess 10 years younger), or because the water is horrible here, but the top of my hair is dry but the bottom of my hair is always soft and healthy and I think it's because the cuticles are permanently permed down. It doesn't make sense to me that I can get highlights over perm, but they can't fill in the top over the half highlight and half literally fresh hair with nothing done to it. I hope they have this product in Indonesia, and I hope it's not double the price. Hair looks really bad when air dried since its got not cute waves on the top and straight on the bottom. I wish I could go to you so you can help me. I will try to use leave-in conditioner (I'll pray the one I find here is good.) and buy a brush hair drier to see if that will help.

This why I don't trust hair pros. Spending money on products is not the solution. Think about to your hair when you were a kid before you started messing with it. You didn't put a ton of products and it was naturally balanced how it's supposed to be

My hair is slightly wavy and thick, it's hard to style because it is stiff, dry and coarse. It used to be straight and flat.

I seriously do not like my hair and I'm not sure whether it's dry or not, it curls up so much after a shower and looks just unhealthy and brittle when it does dry. I've used hair straighteners, and oils, and tried new pomades and gels I have tried so many things and they have worked very little to improve my hair. I want my hair just straight with a little bit of curly or a wet look but it just won't happen. Any advice?
